Hotel is clean, rooms are spacious, we did not have a balcony, but the did not matter as we used the hotel as a base to explore Nerja and the hotel was very central. Improvements would of to have had tea/coffee making facilities, a fridge and some wall hooks.

Contary to adverts there was no bar, no free cafeteria, NO breakfast and the TV had only 2 English stations. There where no advertisment or leaflets on local activities. Basic toileteries were supplied, bed spread was twice as big as was needed. Ehilst clean and warm it needed to be folded up each morning to avoid it being a trip risk.

This is a lovely hotel and I would throughly recommend it to anyone. We have stayed there twice before on the top floor. The rooms were spacious and very clean. The showers were always hot with great pressure, there was plenty of storage and the beds were very comfortable. We didn’t really speak to the staff much except to say ‘hola’ in passing. The hotel is in a perfect location as only a few minutes walk from the lively centre. There are two cafes underneath the hotel that are very good for breakfast and snacks. They are also very popular with the locals. The bus stop is about a 15 minute walk from the hotel if you ate travelling from the airport by bus as we did. The rooftop pool is perfect place to relax. It was quiet and peaceful without any of the usual sunbed wars.

The Bajamar is an excellent hotel, positioned in quiet place within an easy walk to the centre. The staff are really friendly and helpful. My only slight criticism is that the attached cafe and bar closes at 3pm in late September until the end of the session. So you aren't able to take a drink up to your room as you prepare to go out in the evening. Other options are nearby but it would nice to go downstairs and take a coffee or beer back to your room.
