Let's start from the beginning ---- do not think that you can check in early - they charge depending on how early you want to check in. The room was just ok - there were no electrical outlets on one side of the room to plug in and charge cell phone. There was only 1 lamp that had an outlet to charge a phone. The 4 outlets on the desk did not work and there were no USB ports to use either. Holes in the wall in the bathroom were not filled in, just left as is. Hotel definitely needs an upgrade. Forget breakfast if you are over 12 - there was only a cereal bar, waffles and yogurt. There was no protein in sight - no eggs, sausage, or bacon. There was no one at the desk when checking out even after waiting for more than 5 minutes so had to just drop the keys and leave. Only bright light of the stay was the underground parking so didn't need to step out in the rain. Pool was closed for maintenance even though no maintenance could be seen going on. Definitely not worth the $200+ posted nightly rate.

This was the worst place I’ve stayed in. I booked on Expedia as a pay at property so my fiancee and I could split the cost. I called them the night before and asked about split payment just to be sure. I was told they would call me back. Nothing. They ran my card before I even got there. I called them and explained that I was doing a pay at property split payment. They told me I would have to call Expedia because they could do nothing. I called Expedia, shocker, they said it was on the place I’m staying and they could fix it because it was still being processed. Fast forward, we get there. They act stupid and say they can’t do it because it’s been processed, even after I showed them the pay at property email and not to mention the lady who didn’t call me back said her shift ended. I’ve never had this issue at any place I’ve stayed. Fine, fast forward. 1st room… disgusting. Carpet was stained and sticky, we also wore our sandals and shoes around to prevent whatever diseases live in the carpet and stickiness. The chair, stained with unknown substance. The bathroom, holes in the shower wall. Room was freezing, heat didn’t work. Tried to call front desk, phone didn’t work. Had to call on my cell phone. Finally got someone up there, who also walked in and said it’s freezing in here. I was told in 30 minutes, they would check on me to switch rooms. Never called. I called them. I have so much more to say but I'm limited to numbers. I would never stay here again.

My 74-year-old disabled veteran father stayed at the Bedford Plaza Hotel from January 1st through April 1st. During his three-month stay, Ricky, Adithya (Sai), and Manny provided exceptional care and support. Their kindness, professionalism, and compassion made an enormous difference for my father and for our family. Ricky, in particular, went above and beyond. Working overnight shifts, he made sure my father who is very friendly and a night owl — always felt safe, welcome, and respected. Ricky also helped maintain a calm and secure environment, stepping in when needed to ensure guest safety. His attentiveness was not just professional, but deeply human. Throughout my father’s stay, I often called the front desk from two hours away. The gentleman at the front desk were always patient and reassuring, and Manny was equally kind whenever I visited in person. Hotel policy did routinely charge my father late fees (about $13) if payment wasn’t made by 11 a.m. On the day we came to collect his belongings after hospitalization, we arrived shortly before checkout following a two-hour drive, delayed by urgent medical calls. Although the front desk staff acknowledged my father’s cognitive challenges, an additional night’s charge was still required. I had hoped for some flexibility given the circumstances. Ricky especially deserves special recognition for his outstanding service and genuine dedication to guest safety and comfort. He truly made a lasting difference!

I accidentally bought a room to this hotel because my car had broken down and it was the closest one. When I arrived and tried to check in I wasn’t allowed to because I was 18, nowhere did it say that you had to be 21 plus to check in, when I asked for a refund I was immediately declined and was met with very rude and unprofessional remarks. It is unbelievable that they are able to get away with this. Place was gross and very very sketchy, I don’t recommend going unless you want to get scammed. Give me my money back.

The hotel had no record of my reservation with Expedia and had no available rooms for me to use. There were at least 5 other people waiting at the checkin desk with the same issue. They had all made bookings through Expedia, hotels.com, or hotwire. All of them had "expedia confirmations" but none of us had a hotel confirmation number. Expedia needs to improve its process of actually ensuring the reservation gets confirmed through to the hotel before providing the consumer with the "confirmation" number.

Average hotel that could be a lot better with a little bit of work. Staff were nice and friendly. The carpet felt like it needed a clean and the chair had gross stains and should be simply be replaced. Also some newer sheets would be a good idea. Not the Hotels fault but when I turned the TV on the previous guest had turned the volume up to MAX!!! What clown does that!! At least there was no alarm clock set to 2am like another Hotel we stayed at.

I arrived at 11:30am while it was drizzling. The kady at the reception could not check me in since it was not yet time. Thats okay. I asked if i could leave my luggage at the premise as i find something to pass time as i wait checkin time. She refused. I had two large suitcases and two carry on bags. With no where to go was forced to sit just outsude the hotel in the drizzling rain with my luggage. After an hour i spotted a restaurant in the distance, i dragged my luggage there. I was already wet and cold. There was plenty of space in the hotel lobby where i could leave my luggage and walk freely to find something to do as i wait for check in time. But she didnt care... i cannor recommend anyone there. Disappointed!!

Another exceptional stay at our home away from home! The night shift worker, Ricardo as always was kind, helpful and makes me feel at ease knowing he's keeping the hotel running and safe all night. Tara the manager is a breath of fresh air with her welcoming smile, great conversations at the front desk while checking in and out and always right there to ensure everything is running smoothly. Gina has been so thoughtful, patient and helpful anytime we've run into issues in and out of the hotel. All of the staff are wonderful and with the extended stay we've recently had to take this hotel has truly felt like coming home!
