Motel 6-Lancaster, CA

Its been quiet pool is nice they really do work hard to takr care of the place trying to gentrify the are and finally closed lancaster inn. I always get the deluxe rooms with fridge and microwave but i wish i had booked a room with couches maybe next month.

Room was very clean. Jimmy at registration was very pleasant. No coffee, refrigerator or microwave but still a good value. Good place for a one night stop over. I did notice security duty in parking area.

This place was clean. This was our second time staying here and everything was great. Staff was nice and extremely helpful. At the pool they always provided towels for us, and they were always available. We had no issues and will definitely stay here again. Carmen and other staff were very pleasant.

Very comfortable nice and clean and they leave the light on for you and they have security that patrol overnight the whole staff is nice makes me feel like I’m at home

Pool wasn’t even water it was just straight chlorine. I didn’t even open my eyes underneath the water and my eyes were burning to the point I had to take myself to the ER to get checked out. And I was barely in there for not even five minutes. My kids eyes were red for a week

All in all, I feel this motel is above average for its class. Room is basic and somewhat small but renovated and very clean. Has a working refrigerator and microwave, both clean. Bathroom is clean. Amenities only include soap, towels and toilet tissue, but I understand you can go to front desk for additional items if needed. The property itself is very clean, but there is an abandoned fenced off motel behind this property that is quite an eyesore and diminishes this property’s aesthetics and sense of safety. However, all vehicles in this property’s parking lot must be checked in and display a parking pass, the ice machine can only be accessed with a key card, discouraging public use, and there are security cams all around the property, so I felt secure. There is an IHOP right next door for dining, which is convenient. The motel is located right off the highway, and is a great place to stop for a nights rest.

VERY IMPRESSED with the cleanliness of the room, seemed to be recently upgraded - very nice. The staff was VERY PROFESSIONAL and friendly. Beyond the control of the hotel, the area is kind of sketchy. I was a little worried about the security of my vehicle but the area was very well lit and there were no incidents.

Quiet spot. Pool was open late😎. Wasn’t large. But good enough for me. Located near many options to eat. Watched NBA final game at a great sports bar near by.would stay again.

We got there late and the hotel's key card machine had crashed with no service support on the weekend. The front desk manager was having to check people in and then walk you to your room to let you in. And she was cheerful and helpful despite all that. We were traveling with dogs and this spot was truly pet-friendly. A lovely, clean patch of nice grass, fully stocked poop station and a well lit parking lot. The room was very clean and beds comfortable. We have another dog tournament in the area coming up in April and plan to book here again.

Great Room! Clean, Quiet. Comfy Bed/Pillows. Loved all the USB ports and bedside lights (most budget hotels dont have these). Please fix the vending machines though.

Seems clean, staff is nice, but there was roaches and bedbugs in our room! We left at midnight with 2 kids the same day we arrived.

I didn’t notice until morning but I had seen a cockroach under the sink and looked at the shower curtain and had seen another. I didn’t notice any the night I checked in until morning. I really have nothing else to say thank you.

Well this is the second time staying and getting dirty feet the moment I step out of the shower. I was grossed out wit the hair in the tub and there was stained towels and sheets that looked unchanged from previous tenants. I was harassed by a drug dealer outside while b waiting m to check in

The room had cockroaches.

Terrible location next to a vacant lot and condemned hotel featuring a tent city of homeless folks. In the first five minutes I was in room 230 I found live cockroaches in my room. I provided photo and video of this and I was denied a refund.

Everything was amazing, except the mattress kept moving from the box spring it was on top of. Kept waking up to push the mattress back to its place.

The only thing i would have changed was the fact that there was no refrigerator or microwave in the room. Other than that, it was quiet, and overall a good stay! 4.7/5

Was not expecting it to be this nice! Completely redone and modern. Really appreciate how much they upgraded.

It was convenient to everywhere I had to go. No internet signal in my room. I went to the parking lot to get internet access.

The place seems nice and clean. But when I walked into the room, I noticed the bed was full size and not a queen as described, and it would move. The bed was not comfortable.

Clean room, 3 of 6 outlets worked. Upstairs guests made lots of noise stmping and walking on creaky floor until 2:300 am. Bathroom very cramped.

The room was super clean and nice. The bed had memory foam and it had nice new comforters. Nicest motel 6 I’ve been in this far

Bring your own earplugs because it was hard to sleep with all the noisy cars on the freeway. Great lighting on the outside makes you feel safe, but the lights are very bright I wish they had thicker curtain to block light from entering the room. Bring your own shampoo/conditioner because they do not provide them. Even though it's a non-smoking room, we could smell cigarette smoke/odor on our clothings and luggage. The strong air-freshener they used didn't help.

When I arrived, there was a "be back in 10min" sign out and when they did come back out to change it they walked right out to a car in the parking lot and talked to someone in a car for another while. I had to wait for over 20min to get help. That aside the area surrounding the property was very unsafe with a group of people starting a fire outside at 1am. I would never recommend staying there to anyone

There were long term renters living upstairs that had several kids run around back and forth upstairs. When I went to ask to be moved to a different room the manager said she couldn’t and said she would speak to the mom of the kids. At first she said it was because they didn’t have any other rooms with 2 beds. I asked if she can put us up in a bedroom with 1 bed and she refused. Needless to say that we had to deal with the noisy neighbors. Be aware, this I more like a motel for long term renters. Super sketchy and manager that was present on the evening of the 3rd of July was extremely unhelpful.

Management and staff at this location is wonderful, absolutely amazing!! No complaints they are very attentive and accommodating!! Lizzy, Emily and Lisa are fantastic employees. Can’t wait to book again.

I made a reservation Orbitz, I checked in, came back a few hours later to my key not working, the lady at the front desk said my son came back and got another key (no he didn’t) and I said my son was with me. After getting a new key I opened the door to some man in my room smh. I went back to the office and told her what happened. She gave me a refund and said they didn’t have any more rooms smh #NeverAgain

This location is in the worst neighborhood ever! There was lot's of police activity as well as solicitation. In fact, there was a police car chasing a woman down the street and into the motel parking lot as I was checking into my room! Also, I had requested a smoke free room on Expedia and when I got to the room it was clear I did not get one. The room reeked of smoke and the walls were yellow-even the tub had multiple cigarette burns on the edge. I was there for an event and was already running late so I got dressed quickly, gathered all my belongings (I did not feel safe leaving them behind as the other residents were looking inside my room every time I opened the door) and left. After placing my things into my car I noticed they already reeked of smoke!! I only returned the next day to check out and explained to the front desk the situation/issue. She said she did not see my request for a non-smoking room on her end and said it was Expedia's fault and said to contact them to file a complaint. Expedia tried contacting them by phone multiple times but the Motel never answered their phone so I had to wait a couple of days to get a resolution to my dispute and of course Motel 6 denied it. I spoke with a few local residents of Lancaster and they ALL knew of this Motel and told me it was one of the worst ones in the area and it was notorious for solicitation. It is also where the unhoused population are referred to when given public assistance or emergency housing.

Although we had a reservation, the hotel allowed the previous guest to check out at 5 pm, which meant we were made to wait until after 6:30 pm to check in as it had to be cleaned. After a long day on the road, this was unacceptable, but we had no choice. I've never heard of this before, and was very disappointed. Otherwise, it was fine.

Clean, good location, two places to eat within walking distance.

Booked to stay one night as a rest stop on a road trip. On arrival we were told there was a no smoking in the room policy (which is always preferred) however, the room contained 2 ash trays and reeked of stale smoke. Bed sheets also had cigarette burns. Bath tub was dirty and unpleasant. The neighbourhood had an unsafe feel to it with several homeless people camped in the adjacent lot though the motel cannot be blamed for this. Overall 2/5 and usefull as a stop over to sleep then leave. Would I stay here again? Unfortunately no.

Easy to see from freeway

The ran down hotel next door is a mess! A lot trash. Bad for view!!

Correct the room wasn't bad it was a lot of drug activity in and around the hotel.

Rooms are clean and latex out nicely. Bed very comfortable. Conveniently located next to Hwy 14. Several eating and shopping places nearby.

Homeless people around the property and Homeless people living outside the wall of the property.

My family and I stayed 1 night. The check in process was quick. The room was clean. The area surrounding it was questionable though. It was an okay place just for a 1 night stay.
