Red Roof Inn Richmond, KY

We had to switch rooms at 5am because of smoking!l They were smoking next door and in our room the smoke alarm kept beeping! The second room when we got up smelled like smoke because there were smokers next door! They are not strict on the no smoking policy! The towels were bad! We didn’t have a shower mat for when we got out of shower! In the second room we only had one set of towels! We did get more from front desk! Front desk workers were very nice! The second room had no table so we ate our dinner on the desk and in our beds! The first room was on the side by the highway and very loud!! The property had trash everywhere outside!! They should try to put people with pets on one floor and no pets on a different floor!

When we arrived there was no clean room in the room typed we reserved. Then in the evening and middle of the night our room kept filling with cigarette smoke from the employee continually smoking outside right outside the entrance and the smoke going right into out AC vent. It was so bad we had to change rooms. We will no longer choose to stay at this hotel when we come to town.

The woman at the front desk was lovely. The building needs some maintenance badly other than that it was inexpensive and a place to sleep.

Stayed here while vending at the Mountain Mushroom Festival. The property was clean and quiet. Staff was helpful. No issues at all during this stay.

You get what you pay for. We couldn't find our room. Signs were 201-212 and 215- 225. Our room was 214. Beds were not Queens as stated and uncomfortable. The fridge did not cool very well. Not enough towels. 2 for 4 people and we booked it for 4. Hair dryer was hanging off the wall and when I went to use it, it glowed orange and sparks flew out of it. Our door would not close without body slamming it. No way to leave the room quietly if others were sleeping.
