Microtel Inn Suite by Wyndham BWI Airport

You can't expect a 5 star for a cheap hotel like this. It's below average in many ways, but it's cheap. It's clean enough, the room was large, AC worked. BUT... some lights were burned out, the WiFi is unusable, the shower water was very hot and blistering (i.e., could not get normal temp water but at least it was hot and not cold), the fitness room was "closed for a few days for maintenance" (I was there a few days, never open, looks just to be a storage room), breakfast in a box was iffy. Fine if you just need a place to sleep for a night.

Checked in during the evening. Smooth process. Elevator is shaky and didn’t feel safe. Room was not as advertised. I went to take a shower and the water pressure was so hard that it actually hurt. The drain in the tub wouldn’t stay up so it was filling up while showering. I thought it was slow but the next morning the water was still in the tub. I sat on toilet to get dressed and the seat was so loose that i fell off of it. Also tons of trash in the hallway the next morning. I planned to be there for two nights but immediately asked for refund on second night and left. While explaining what was going on with the room, the guy at the reception area didn’t even argue back. He just agreed so they must know it’s raggedy in there. Wyndham needs to get their name off of there ASAP.

Availability of a shuttle to both airport&light rail is a wonderful amenity! When guest coffee machine stopped working it was repaired almost the same day. Even without a car I could walk safely to a nearby small mall&passed a working bus stop. A lovely hotel with hard working staff.

Kumar met me at the airport, free shuttle ride. Easy check-in, quiet facility, no issues. I would stay there again

In the hallway there was a large amount of garbage stacked up in trash cans that look like they belong outside, it smelt awful and I worry about the critters it would attract. Breakfast was a premade togo container with a bagel/cream cheeee, stale muffins, a warm yogurt and sunny D. Staff was friendly. Did have an issue checking in as the front desk staff also drives the shuttle to the airport. I had to leave to go to work and cpuldnt check in till the next morning which was inconvenient. Property smalls like weed as well.

Property is currently under construction. The check-in is a tent in the front of the property. Entire entrance is under construction. Found multiple bugs in the room (dead and alive). The free breakfast consisted of a small Sunny D, yogurt, packaged muffin and plain Bagel with cream cheese. Staff was friendly. Shuttle to airport was on time.

No iron available. I was told that the hotel was booked and they could not provide me with an iron. I asked if they could grab one from a room that was not occupied yet so I could use for 30 mins and was told they were booked. No ice in the building.

This is a no frills hotel. Yes it was clean and conveniently located. They also offer airport transportation. However. The in room coffee machine didn’t work. The in room fridge never got cold enough in the 48 hours I was there. The microwave did work! They do have an ice machine, but it doesn’t work. They do have a a beverage vending machine, but that didn’t work. But, the room was clean and customer service was very good. The free breakfast was a bagel, yogurt, muffins and a sunny d. If you’re ok with the lack of ice or vending machine it’s worth the risk

The carpet in the elevator was grossly stained and smelled The carpet in the hall was dirty and stained and smells. The drink machine wasn't working. I am elderly and struggled to climb up into the back seat of the shuttle van. It wasn't 9 yet but we had to ask if they had any breakfast left. He did go in the back room and grab them for us. But they shouldn't have been put away yet. But it was very spacious and had microwave and mini fridge.

The bathtub has hair and the bathroom was filthy. Coffee pot didn't work.

I booked 3 rooms for 10/25-10/29 (4 nights) because we were in town for a wedding where my fiancé and father in law were in wedding. Walking in I should’ve known it was going to be a terrible experience!! When we checked into our rooms, I found that we had pubic hairs woven into our “Clean” towels. There were Roaches & Roach droppings in, around and under the microwave & refrigerator as well as the hallway and the bathroom. There were human Urination and feces stains on the carpet. Feces on the wall and the toilet that had dried! The “free breakfast” that was advertised was a nook in the hallway by the exit door where the addicts who STAY IN THE HOTEL hang out, & was an old dirty toaster & napkins. There were drug addicts standing/folded over, next to the side entrances. Drug deals happening in the parking lot IN FRONT of the hotel!!! The “Free Shuttle Service” was a guy that worked there driving his personal mini van to pick us up. Which was creepy, to say the least! And to top it off, it wrecked of Smoke!! Cigarette smoke, Weed smoke, and Drug smoke! We were there for about 2 hours, only because I had to be on the phone with Hotels.com about the situation, and trying to find 3 replacement rooms at a different hotel for us to stay! And they still charged us for a full night’s stay for the 3 rooms we booked, one of the 3 rooms hadn’t even checked in yet! This place is Deplorable, Filth ridden, a Disgusting environment and a Safety & Health hazard! It should be shut down!!

Towels are dirty and so is the carpet, covered in stains. Not worth $180 we spent. $10 more and I can stay at the height across the street we found after. Plus the shower is a rubix cube to turn on

I’ve stayed at other Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham; and this recent experience at thus particular hotel was by far THE WORST!!! I can’t believe the deplorable conditions of the hotel. Our room was awful. The bathroom sink was all cracked up; and it looked like someone had taken superglue to try and fix it. The tub was so nasty & dirty looking that we were afraid to shower! The walls were dirty; and there was no soap in the lobby restroom….just a terrible place to lay your head!!!! I will NEVER book here again; nor recommend this place!!!

This is hotel is a dumpster fire. The property is in disrepair and our room had a foul smell, the carpet was dirty and the bathroom had hair throughout the bathroom. Found dead bugs throughout the room and the furniture was completely worn and tattered. My wife and I checked out immediately and requested a refund through Expedia however the manager never responded to Expedia's email or multiple phone calls. I would not recommend!

I did not enjoy our stay at all. The room was filthy with a foul smell. I had to immediately report and requested a different room. Its the filthiest hotel Ive ever been to. The sheets and towels were very worn-out and bugs were crawling on the floor. This hotel needs a complete refurbishment. Shame on management. I could never book this brand hotel again or recommend to anyone else. We booked because it looked good on the website but in reality, it is a sh..t hole.

Linen was dingy; carpet was filthy; area was dirty and dusty. Room walls were dirty and bathroom smelled like bad body odor. Very noisy throughout the hallways and and could here conversations through wall and floors

The room smelled like cigarettes and they weren’t kept up well in the rooms it’s was stains everywhere there was also mold in the hotel and it had bugs around the hotel the elevator didn’t work well and the breakfast was false advertised it came in the lobby in styrofoam containers

Didn't like the dirty rug in elevator. Chair in room was way past it's prime. Also, I wouldn't call a plain bagel in a Ziploc bag with packets of cream cheese, jelly and peanut butter, a muffin and orange drink offering "continental breakfast"! Not happy...

Staff was nice but rooms were outdated. Stains on chairs, carpets and in bath tub. Cleaning staff started vacuuming floors above us before 9 am and you could hear vacuums running.

I went for a graduation & some rest. The bed was suppose to be Queen it was more of a full size. For a six one person we needed a real queen.

The bed was comfortable. The room wasn’t the clearest and it seems really bad. Very musty and a bit like old smoke.

Very small room, and my bed was a full size when i booked queen. The gentleman at the front desk was argumentative when i complained about it.

The non smoking room we booked smelled of smoke odor, the toilet had mold around inside, the tub was stopped up unable to drain. Once manager moved us to a new room it was a little better but the tub was still a issue not draining

The breakfast option were limited in variety and number. The ice machine on our floor didn't work and there was only a water station in the lobby.

The staff was very friendly and helpful and went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable. It was quite and clean and convenient. Great place to stay!

The smoke detector in our room was not mounted to the ceiling it was laying on the counter. The television remote worked except for the play button therefore we could not watch TV. The shuttle that used to transport to the casino was no longer running and every time we tried to find staff he was sleeping in the backroom. Been three days and I still have yet to receive my security deposit refund.

Poor customer service, breaksfast is notbas they posted on the website. Its only bread and coffee. They dont even provide towels daily, when i ask there is not towel the customer service guy told me am sorry we can't provide now. It doesnt make sense at all. The overall service is poor

There was lots of noise in the hallway. This made it difficult to rest. Check-in was easy and the staff at the front desk was kind and helpful.

Our flight was delayed and we arrived after midnight. There was no one on duty.

After two days I turned in two towels and requested replacements (my door had the (DND) sign on it. The housekeeper did not replace the towels as I was leaving stating the towels were being “washed “ and none were placed in the room by my return. I requested towels from the desk clerk but she told me she “couldn’t.” My room phone never worked for my entire 4 day stay.

While trying to check in, there was a sign that the desk person was helping another guest and would be back in 10 minutes. While waiting, I read there is a $100 deposit that would be refunded after the stay. After about 20 minutes, he comes back to check us in. He came from outside so don’t know who or what he was helping since this is a hotel. The room was not what the pictures looked like and the room was very runned down. The bathroom had new flooring and shower backsplash but everything else was old. I showered and the nozzle was difficult to maneuver. Once I finished the shower, I turned the nozzle to shut the water off but couldn’t get to to stop coming out full force. We all tried but couldn’t get it to shut off. I had to use my cell phone to call the front desk because the room didn’t have a phone. After I explained the situation and that it was filling faster than it was draining; the man states maintenance would be there in 15-20 mins. I told him that in timeframe, it would be overflowing. After 10 mins, we had to go the desk to get the person to come look. They gave us another room so I don’t know what happened with the tub. Both rooms had tvs w/remotes that didn’t work. The carpet in the elevator was nasty. Never again will I stay at this or any Microtel Hotel.

The night manager was fantastic. We needed additional blankets, the night was sooooo cold, and he brought them as well as checked our heater, offered another room as well. Couldn't have been more amazing

A modestly priced clean hotel near BWI.

The moment we walked in the smell of marijuana hit you in the face! It was in the elevator and on the 3rd floor where we stayed. Basically everywhere. What looked to be employees were walking around the lobby in their bare feet. We were in town for a funeral. My sister also stayed there. She is from Pennsylvania. The people hanging around the front entrance gave her the impression it was a sketchy place and asked was it safe to stay there. I was very surprised that this placed represents Wyndham.

Property was very rundown and dirty . Homeless and sketchy looking people just hanging around hotel. Limited dining in area.

Close to airport.

I left and got another hotel. I traveled solo and was concerned about my safety. My room door did not close properly, and was slightly broken (allowing anyone to break in with sufficient force.) Staff was nice, but it is a sketchy place.

It was a quiet area.

The hotel is located in a good location. The hall ways were not clean. TV had marks on the screen and remote was cracked and broken. The staff was pretty nice. I left some clothes in the closet and called the hotel several times with no answer. I contacted Hotels.com since I booked the hotel through them and they were not able to get in contact with them either.

Very basic accomodations, but bed was comfortable. An older building, with tons of knicks, cracks, and puttied over dings. AC worked fine, water pressure could be better. Breakfast is a bagel, packaged muffins, a yogurt, and small bottle of Sunny-D. Coffee machine serves surprisingly good coffee.

Place is a get what you pay for. Pretty clean and quiet. No frills. Coffee and a bagel for a breakfast.

The place was ok but it was in desperate need of upgrades and the breakfast was not good at all.

I rented two rooms and asked for them to be near each other. They were able to accommodate that and actually had our rooms as conjoining, which was helpful. We selected this hotel because it offered breakfast, but it was super disappointing. All they had was prepackaged breakfasts to include an everything bagel, muffins, yogurt (who knows how long that was sitting out), and OJ. Besides the stench of weed in the area, the room was clean and it was in a location close to our destination.

It was convenient for where we were visiting family. Only bad thing is free breakfast is included but its already boxed up. Yogurt,bagel,muffin,juice. Not good for a diabetic. Wish they would've had some eggs,bacon or sausage. Other than that,everything was fine. Would definitely stay here again.

This property needs updating. The free breakfast was a boxed up breakfast, and there were none left when we got there. The shower was dirty. Shower drain piece didn't work. Ice machine didn’t work. Smelled like marijuana.

Free breakfast was amazing. Some people were making noise around us through the walls.
