The hotel is located at a very strategic location, walking distance to China town, paddy’s market and darling harbour. The room is good and spacious for us. They provide free coffee at ground floor, got water dispenser too. But we rent a car there, we have to pay AUD35 per day for parking.

Unfortunately the dining room and bar were closed during my stay, which I wasn't aware of when I booked the room. Additionally there was quite an intense smell of damp around the entire hotel. In my room there was a large damp patch of carpet by the bed that didn't go away during my stay. To the credit of the staff, they supplied an industrial fan to help dry it. Unfortunately this didn't work very well, and the floor remained quite wet. The room smelled of damp the same way the common areas of the hotel did. Also there is no warm lighting in the rooms

Staff at the hotel are wonderful and very helpful. The hotel is in a good convenient location not far from Central station. If you’re booking this hotel because it mentions Laundry facilities, you will need to look elsewhere. No laundry facilities are available on-site. Laundromat within a 10-minute walking distance (near central station)

The property is well priced for the area, which is walking distance to china town and the mall. Staff were helpful. The room was clean and comfortable; but a little bit tired. The fridge was a bit small (no freezer section), which was a tricky for a family of five trying to save on take away. No microwave in the room, but one in the lobby. The shower is over the bath.

Our room was cold and we weren’t provided with blankets, just sheets. It took a while for the heater to heat up the room when I figured out how to use the remote. Because I was cold I had a poor sleep. The carpet was a bit dirty and the bathroom had mould in and around the sink.

hotel un peu excentré mais a 10 mn a pied de Central Sation, hotel qui semble un peu dans son jus au premier abord. Les parties communes (portes d'ascenseurs sont sales). Grande chambre avec un bon lit mais la baignoire n’était pas bien nettoyé et les joints autour du lavabo sale. C’est dommage ca gache un peu le séjour.

The room is spacious enough for one person or a couple to stay multiple nights. The building itself seems a little dated but maintained well to function as a hotel. The location is not typical tourist area or business precinct but quite comfortable to be in.

Check in was easy. The room was a decent size and clean. Easy walk to Central station. It was listed as having a balcony but it was more of a glorified window as you could not stand on it (occupied with AC units). Unfortunately because of said balcony, I assume someone previously had been smoking on it as the room did stink of cigarettes a bit. The TV didn't function. It was slow and could not boot up netflix, youtube or channels properly. It would take minutes and would stutter a lot. The sound proofing wasn't amazing as someone across the hall from us had their TV blasting and was talking loudly, could be easily heard. The hotel seemed to have been hosting a music event in the morning, so the sound of drums and tuning was going on from about 0830am. Overall, fine for a place to sleep.

Clean rooms, but the whole hotel had a bit of a weird vibe. Walls are quite thin so you will hear your neighbour's and sounds from outside. Staff was friendly and helpful.

I've stayed here several times. The rooms are perfect for my requirements, but I really didn't like being given the third degree about hosting parties when I checked in. Perfectly reasonable for the check-in staff to point out that it is a non-party venue. But repeatedly telling me to cancel any parties I had planned (after I had said that I'm not planning to host a party....I've never done so in the past) was over the top. The staff clearly didn't listen to my initial reply or have been told to ignore what the customer says in response and to continue with the spiel. I later noted that not every visitor copped the same treatment. Don't think I'll be back if this is going to continue.

This has become my go-to accommodation venue when I come to Sydney. I truly appreciate the scale (as in it's not a huge hotel), the location, the ambience, the efficiency, the friendliness, the thoughtfulness (a bin for recyclables, yes!) and the key provisions (why doesn't every hotel provide a box of tissues?). I'll certainly be staying there again.

This has become my go-to accommodation venue when I come to Sydney. Being so close and walkable to the city and Darling Harbour I was surprised how quiet and peaceful it was. Universities and TAFE right next door means that there are plenty of budget price good Asian eateries and shopping at Haymarket. Accommodation was pleasant and comfortable for our needs.

Great location. Close to Darling Square and Central Train Station. There were plenty of food options around the area and we especially enjoyed the Lord Worseley pub up the road. Hydration Station in the lobby was a great idea.

Great location. Close to Darling Square and Central Train Station. There were plenty of food options around the area and we especially enjoyed the Lord Worseley pub up the road. Hydration Station in the lobby was a great idea.

Nice little hotel near the Powerhouse Museum and a short walk to Darling Harbour. Our room was spacious and I appreciated all the surface space to store our luggage and belongings. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was good. The employees were very helpful with calling taxis and sorting out any issues. I would stay here again. The only thing I didn’t like was the lack of dining options around the hotel.

Unfortunately the dining room and bar were closed during my stay, which I wasn't aware of when I booked the room. Additionally there was quite an intense smell of damp around the entire hotel. In my room there was a large damp patch of carpet by the bed that didn't go away during my stay. To the credit of the staff, they supplied an industrial fan to help dry it. Unfortunately this didn't work very well, and the floor remained quite wet. The room smelled of damp the same way the common areas of the hotel did. Also there is no warm lighting in the rooms

Decent and spacious rooms, the balcony was also very welcome. The white light is something I would have preferred to be in a warmer tone. Breakfast had the usual warm options, as well as continental offerings.

It was a nice place to stay, rooms are spacious, there is a coffee machine at the reception, breakfast is just ok with no nutritious options, staff is lovely. Quiet area and there are some eateries but not enough options around, this coupled with no meals at the hotel and one has to walk long distances to get a fill. There is also a shaving foam dispenser in the toilet but all dispensers are very far from the sink and too hard to use, specially for kids. The blanket is not a blanket its two sheets of fabric with one sheet of insert, literally. Impossible to use with a child.

There was a false alarm on our first night so we have to evacuate our room to go outside, which is fine. But the issue was, we did not hear the alarm from our room (424). We only knew that the emergency alarm was on when our dad called us (they’re staying in a different room). Good thing that it was only a false alarm and we were sent back to our room after 15mins of checking by the fire brigade. But what if there was an actual emergency? Then we wouldn’t know or we could have been trapped as again we can’t hear the alarm from our room!

This was my third time at this hotel and this stay was not as good as my other stays. It was really the room itself that was the problem. Just seemed like a room that has been neglected. There was mold in the bathroom and the curtains. The bed was very uncomfortable. You ask for a queen bed and get two singles put together. It’s a good price compared to other hotels in the area and the staff are excellent. It’s a good stay for one night, but I wouldn’t stay there for a long stay
