Grove Cottage

GROVE COTTAGE IS A SMALL PROPERTY, OBVIOUSLY VERY OLD, BUT FULL OF APPROPRIATE PERIOD FEATURES. MOST OF THE FACILITIES ARE OK AND THE GENERAL CONDITION INSIDE IS ACCEPTABLE. THE KITCHEN IS VERY SMALL BUT USABLE FOR A COUPLE. INFORMATION ABOUT EQUIPMENT IN THE COTTAGE IS NOT GOOD AND NO INSTRUCTIONS WERE PROVIDED ABOUT WHERE THAT IS LOCATED. SOME WE ONLY DISCOVERED ON THE SECOND DAY BY WHICH TIME WE HAD ALREADY EXPERIENCED PROBLEMS. EITHER THE OWNERS OR THE MANAGEMENT COMPANY NEED TO DEAL WITH THIS AND PROVIDE A FOLDER WITH ALL RELEVANT INSTRUCTION INFORMATION PLUS GUIDES TO USING EQUIPMENT. THE GARDEN IS PLEASANTLY INFORMAL AND BENEFITS FROM LOTS OF SUN.

We have visited Gove Cottage for about 10years now each summer. In the last year or two we have been a little disappointed with the Garden, which used to be lovely, but is now a little not loved. However the cottage remains comfortable, and is very convenient foe everyting within the town, and the parking space is a real bonus. We will continue to visit as often as we can.

We had a great Christmas holiday at Grove cottage. It was really cozy and warm. It was also really festive with decorations all around the house. Grove Cottage is compact but very comfortable. The bedrooms are spacious. As is the bathroom. The sitting room is warm and inviting. The kitchen is authentic and well equipped. We would love to come back in summer and make use of the outdoor space.

We have visited Grove Cottage for many years now, and continue to enjoy all our time staying there. The Cottage is clean, tidy, and very comfortable.
