Sycamore Inn Chico University Area

Run down and dingy. Not very clean bathroom. Window covering had moth holes in it. On the plus side, air conditioning worked pretty well and there was plenty of hot water.

Bed said Queen, but was actually full sized and poor mattress. Area was quiet and parking pretty well secured. Bed spread and blanket had burn holes. Pillows were old.

Simple no-nonsense check in and out. Property and room was clean, safe and comfortable. I can see they really wanted to provide guests with a nice place to stay. This place meet the expectations and I will return on a future trip there. FYI the rate was $75 for a Monday night and cheaper than anything else in Chico that also had great reviews.

I would not recommend staying at this Inn. The property is cute and maintained but most importantly is the rooms. Our rooms was run down, the fridge was gross and not our hair in the tub or on the floor. I did like the 4 pillows per queen beds.

Might as well say that breakfast is NOT included..... Bananas were green, only two dry cereals and a waffle maker. And coffee, but no decaf coffee...... that's it. One of the worst I've even seen....
