it okay for the price the gym needs some work

Outside was a little dirty pool and grounds. Inside needs a complete remodel but until that happens you must keep things cleaner. Inside the room was fine, bed was good. Breakfast could be better, no cooked oatmeal, sausage looked weird, and no black tea. All workers were very nice and helpful. I think that I would stay there again if I need to stay in Valdosta.

Property is in an isolated place at the end of a rough parking lot. Difficult to find after dark.

Promised a social hour but had nothing for it. Very poor condition

Staff was nice and accommodating. Liked the fact that pets could stay. I was petless but t he e staff and pet owners handled the situation well. My room was for four people but it was set up for 2. Prior to Covid this would not had happened at a Marriott. I paid extra to stay here for the breakfast and pool. The pool was totally unacceptable. It was as if the staff forgot they had one. My daughter scooped leaves but stopped when realized it needed much mor. No umbrellas. Assign staff pool duty or close it and don’t advertise. So disappointed. Breakfast was mediocre at best. Muffins stale and coffee not good. I wish I had taken more pics of cloudy water, leaves in the bottom covering drain.

I stay here once a year every yeat for AAU basketball tournamanets. Tasha at the front desk was amazing, helpful, lookedto keep the lobby quiet during late hours, was not rude ever in herbapproach, fulled my cooler with ice when asked. The beds were very comfortable. The pool area was clean and well kept. Could use some type of gnat repellent or something though. They get terrible. Parking is easy breakfast is nice, offering several options and a decent sized dining area. Only 1 waffle maker for all guests so that will cost you time. I recommend this hotel though if you need to be in the area. Its less than 7 minutes to walmart, sams club is near, gas stations and academy sports if you may need anything for sporting events.

Waited at front desk over 5 minutes for check in (there was a sign saying they’ll be back soon); not terrible I guess. The long driveway/parking lot getting in was an eyesore & difficult to find from main road. Parked & walked to front door & initially thought they were closed because all of the luggage carts were at the entrance, taking up most of it (made me think they were closed and old equipment was sitting there). Kind of a strange vibe. Hotel seemed a little humid as well. But it was clean & quiet. Breakfast options were good. Price was excellent.

Room was vety clean and well stocked with what we needed. The hotel was very quiet. The Desk clerk was vrry pleasant

Dirty room. Couldn't stay in it. It was assigned to us, but never cleaned from the day. No other room available.

Did on-line check in. When we arrived, the on-line check in had not been received due o a “glitch” in their system, so I had to go through check in at the desk. Once we got to our room and settled in a bit, I received a text that our room was ready. Once in the room, there was only enough coffee for one cup. There were only 2 tissues left in the tissue box. Whatever they sprayed on the hard services to clean them had not been wiped sufficiently as the residue from the spray was very apparent, particularly on the desk. The first bath towel I used had a long hair on it when I first began to dry off my face. I have short hair, so it wasn’t mine and it was pretty gross.

Stayed twice. Overall good for 1 night. Needs a bathroom refresh there was spots with mold. Staff and breakfast was good.

As a frequent traveler, I value cleanliness and maintenance in accommodations. However, my recent stay left much to be desired. The issues were glaring and unfortunately overshadowed any positive aspects of the stay. Upon entering the room, it was immediately evident that cleanliness was not a priority. The carpets were noticeably dirty, with stains and grime scattered throughout. Walking barefoot was out of the question. The shower curtain was in dire need of replacement, showing signs of mold and mildew buildup. It was a discomforting sight that detracted from any sense of relaxation or cleanliness. To exacerbate matters, the presence of mold on the ceiling was unmistakable. This not only posed health concerns but also indicated a lack of regular maintenance and attention to detail. Mold is not something guests should encounter during their stay, and its presence speaks volumes about the upkeep standards of the hotel. While the location may be convenient and the staff courteous, these positives are overshadowed by the neglect evident in the room's condition. It's disappointing to see such potential marred by a lack of basic cleanliness and upkeep. In conclusion, I cannot recommend until significant improvements are made in maintaining cleanliness and addressing maintenance issues. Guests deserve a comfortable and hygienic environment during their stay, which unfortunately was not.

This is a good hotel. The only drawback is that it’s showing its age so our room was a bit dingy. I’m sure they’ve been been cleaned well, but look dirty because of the permanent marks and stains that come with age. The air conditioner was loud so we ended up turning it off which was fine since we were there in February.

Mold in the shower especially the ceiling. TV volume on the remote did not work. Toilet kept running unless I jiggled the handle

Hotel had a musty smell on first and second floor. Possible mildew or mold. Room pictured when I booked was not room we were put in. Should be more accurate so customer knows what to expect. Property around was roped off under construction which was not revealed on site. Misleading.

For a hotel that charged $225/night I expected something nicer. The black out curtain was torn and because of that it hung down and could not protect us from the streetlight outside that shone in our eyes. Doors slammed most of the evening and night--and although two of us were in the room, the maid only left one caffeinated coffee (one cup) for us to brew the next morning. I could go on...................

New property it would have gotten higher ratings but NO HOT WATER. It was like warm on highest setting and let shower and sink run for a long time. Totally unacceptable for any hotel especially one do new

It was clean. The staff was excellent. The breakfast was good. The lobby looks great, but the halls and rooms are a little worn. Not bad

I was traveling through Georgia and needed a place to rest for one night. The hotel was clean and the room was comfortable. I had a peaceful evening.

The rooms are older but bearable - our sink had a smell every time you ran the water. Rooms next to elevator are horrible - we came for a tournament and heard them run all night long! The employees were very nice and breakfast was always well stocked.

It’s an older property but it servers the needs for a quick overnight stay. No pets policy is a plus for us. The AC unit was not functioning properly and the room is a little dated but for the price and the need it was good.

Entire covering of the air conditioner unit had been removed and placed in the corner. Unplugged lamp missing a shade was sitting on a table. Ceiling seemed unusually low. Not what I expected for a Marriott property

Awesome staff

When we arrived nobody was at the front desk, after 5 minutes I knock on the back wall and three people came out. I showed my ID and she said I did not have a reservation. I went to my to get my papers and she had entered my name wrong. The room window curtian were hanging by only one hook on both sides and the bathroom shower curtain was unspapped and half falling in the tube. The room was bare of furniture. All it had beside the beds was a desk, a desk chair and one other single chair. The breakfast had these hard muffens with a tiny bit egg on the bottom. It was to hard to eat. I stayed at a lot of Fairfield Inns tat were fist class , this one was class Less and I wound not recommend it.

Breakfast old ladies was rude

I prepsid and the lady at front desk said she can see my reservation and that I paid but I had to pay again because she couldnt figure out how to “get the money” she ended up calling a manager to help her. She said she refunded the second charge, I hope so!

Ok, here's the deal. Expedia overbooked the hotel. I haven't received a refund yet. We had to stay in a different hotel. Expedia called the hotel twice, but they said they didn't have the authority, call back. When they did, they said the manager had already gone for the day. I do not understand why I had to pay without staying there. If they approve the refund, Id be happy to remove the bad rating.

We booked and prepaid for our room and when we arrived to the hotel, there were no rooms and we were sent away to find another hotel. There were no hotels available in a 60-mile radius.

Super friendly staff, clean and spacious room, convenient to interstate!

Was charged an extra 20 dollars for what I don’t know, and they didn’t have much for breakfast, usually there is a muffin or something, all they had was bagel, yogurt, waffle, coffee.

The lady at the front desk was upbeat and friendly. Very efficient. Our room was clean and spacious. The breakfast was delicious with lots of selections.

The continental breakfast was terrible. Nothing was filled up, had to wait. Only had decaf coffee

We did an overnight stay here after visdWild Adventures. Breakfast was good (variety of hot and cold items for both kids and adults). For example, waffles, scrambled eggs, jumbo pan sausages, muffins, cereal, juices, milk, coffee, etc). Room, had microwave, fridge, shower had very hot water.

Rooms comfortable and clean. Need better pillows. Too tired to request better ones. Breakfast was good and the Lady assisting us at breakfast very nice and helpful. I would stay there again.

Only one issue. Hotel is too large to have only one waffle machine. The line wait was a issue.

The front desk clerk was very helpful and welcoming upon checking in. However, the next day at breakfast the woman who cleans up breakfast was very pushy and kept telling me I only had 7 minutes, 5 minutes, then 3 minutes to grab what I wanted for breakfast because it was over at 9am. While the breakfast setup was very nice and varied, the personal countdown was unnecessary and unwelcoming. I felt like she just wanted everyone to leave. She even gave another gentleman trouble for trying to get some milk for his coffee at 8:59, telling him he couldn’t have anything else because breakfast was over. She made my breakfast very unpleasant and ruined my appetite.

Stopped on road trip traveing north on i75. After 5 hours of driving straight we needed a room for the night. We chose to stop in Valdosta GA and picked the Fairfield Inn which appeared to meet our requirements. My daughter was playing basketball north of Atlanta and we just wanted a quiet night sleep. Fairfield Inn in Valdosta exceeded our expectations. We were greeted with a friendly smile at 10pm, had a nice quiet two queen room for great price. The room was very clean, the beds and pillows were so comfortable, the AC was cold and not loud, nice big TV so we were able to watch the games before we fell asleep and the shower was great with strong pressure. In the .morning we did not set an alarm as we are early risers. We went down for breakfast around 7:30 and was by far the best "hotel breakfast" included with stay. Egg and cheese on english muffins, very good coffee with non dairy oatmilk creamer, oat meal station, bacon and waffles made fresh. As we were checking out a group of 3 female staff workers were coming in to start their shift. They were laughing, smiling and greeted us with a good morning. It was such a very genuine good morning like we were welcomed and appreciated. I wish i had their names. Just gave us a very nice friendly way to start our 4 hour drive of day 2. I am a marriot bon voy member and i never use the membership really but after this stay i am definitely going to highky consider seeking out Fairfield Inns for our trips.
