The lobby is very clean, rest of the hotel needs some work. The room looked nice but had a very bad smell of mold. The free breakfast well thank god it was free and we didn’t spend our money on it. Coffee tasted like they made it from toilet water. One towel and one wash cloth for two guess. No shampoo or conditioner. The bar of soap was about 1 inch by 1 inch bar. So bring all your own stuff. The shuttle to universal studios only runs at 6am and 8am and that’s it for the day. Over all I give it a 1 star only because of the price was good for a one night stay.

The front desk clerk was incredibly rude, didn't say hello, just asked "Checking In?", I said yes and she said "I need your driver's license", and still had not even looked at me. The next day, my son asked an employee in the front desk area where the bathroom was, and she said "Read the sign" and pointed. I mean, seriously? Is it that hard to be hospitable? The room was ok, seemed clean, bathroom is tiny, pool is ok, building looks like it's falling apart in the outdoor hallways and stairwells, and breakfast was disappointing: Lukewarm sausage patties, cold eggs, cold pancakes all of which came frozen from a package, obviously, and were barely heated, no heat lamps or warming dishes to keep things hot, and a couple other things like cereal, toast, and some muffins.. there was a microwave but the plates are Styrofoam, so can't use it to heat the food. Personally I will never stay here again. For the price of the rooms, I didn't expect 5-star or even 3-star quality, but the lack of polite hospitality is a deal breaker.
