Best Western Plus Expo Verona

If you are looking for the experience of an American hotel in Italy, this is for you! It was our last stay after traveling and staying at several Airbnbs and hotels in northern Italy. Rooms and common were beautiful and very nicely decorated. A/C was excellent (not always the case in other places we stayed). The hotel is located in an industrial-ish area. We stayed there the last two days of our vacation because it was fairly close to the airport. There is free covered onsite parking which is good since it is in a really ugly location and you will need a car to get to any of the surrounding area. Supermarket nearby was great and Macdonalds just a 5-minute drive along the road to the airport. Not a lot of dining nearby unless you drive into Villfranca. After reviewing the menu, we chose not to eat at the onsite restaurant—it seemed over-priced. (We had already been eating out in Italy for two weeks prior to staying at this hotel so had a good idea of what things should cost.) It was annoying that the menu wasn’t available online or in the room or even posted outside the restaurant somewhere. The breakfast was an additional 10 euro which seemed a little pricey as well. Mini-bar prices were reasonable, given the choices and the convenience. When we arrived, the staff really didn’t give us any information about the hotel amenities, to include the fact that one of the two onsite bars was closed for vacation. Privacy was great. Very quiet.

It is not the first time we stayed at Expo hotel. It's convenient to go to Villafranca and to go to Verona. Clean, quiet and with very polite and professional staff. The free access to the closed garage is a plus.

The Parking: There are some free spaces behind the hotel and a garage in the underground, so good parking options. The Hotel: It looks nice inside, there are two elevators and the lobbies are nice decorated. The Room: It is spacious, nicely done and with lots of sockets and a big bathroom with enough space. The bed: Super comfy with crisp clean sheets and wonderful pillows, I had an 85 sleep score on my Garmin and felt recovered, super wow comfort. The breakfast: lots of options, good coffee machine and a very confusing, unnecessary complicated juice machine which gives syrup then you add water and it´s not clear how. For 10€ a person is well worth it. The Hotel is a nice surprise and even with a broken socket in the room and moody juice machine for breakfast, it is worth a visit and enjoy a royal sleep.

Das Hotel liegt ausserhalb von Verona. Die Umgebung ist nicht so toll, aber man ist schnell auf der Autobahn und schnell in der Stadt. Das Hotel selbst ist recht neu und sehr sauber. Parkplätze sind kostenlos in der Tiefgarage.

Overall it’s a very nice hotel with a very reasonable price. The thing that brother us is they do not have free shuttle bus to the airport. Need to take a taxi.

We stayed one night and visited Verona. The room was clean and nice. Staff was attentive and helpful. The hotel has parking so for us was perfect!

Very clean facility. Good size bathroom. We liked the water pressure in the shower. Beds were comfortable.

Staff at check in were very helpful. The carpet in the room needed to be replaced for how dirty it was but the room was otherwise clean.

Wir haben zwei zimmer gebucht (mit verbindungstür) für uns und unsere kinder. Die toilette im zimmer unserer kinder hatte einen wasserschaden und das wasser lief aus den rohren wenn man die Spülung bedient hat. Die toilette stand unter wasser Das hotel konnte es nicht lösen und konnte mir auch keine alternative anbieten. Die klimaanlage im zimmer unserer ki der war sehr schwach und hat kaum gekühlt und war auch noch laut. Auch dieses problem konnte das hotel nicht beheben. Im elternzimmer gab es nur heisses wasser in der dusche. Am nächsten morgen gab es im gesamten hotel kein wasser weil die stadt angeblich an den rohren arbeitet. Sowas weiss man im voraus und informiert die gäste. Auch hier keinerlei informationen. Beim check-out habe ich eine Rückerstattung gefordert aber mir wurde nur ein 10% discount für die nächste Übernachtung angeboten, was ich definitiv nicht machen werde. Absolut schlechter service und nicht zu empfehlen!

Das Hotel ist sehr sauber und das Zimmer ehr geräumig und sehr schön eingerichtet. Es liegt nicht weit weg von der Bushaltestelle mit der man in die nächste Stadt und auch nach Verona fahren kann. Der Parkplatz ist sehr geräumig und leicht zu befahren. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Vielen Dank für den tollen Aufenthalt, immer wieder gerne 👍

Camere pulite, letti comodi, abbastanza nuovo e moderno. Comoda posizione per aeroporto, Verona e Villafranca (auto necessaria)

Ottima colazione, stanza pulita e letto comodo

Pessima esperienza seppur abbia prenotato perché il sito diceva che i cani erano ammessi, ma in realtà hanno richiesto il supplemento per uno Yorkshire senza fornire nulla in camera per il cane e successivamente su nostra richiesta hanno dato le ciotole. Ma la cosa più inquietante è che la moquette era sporca con grandi macchie e cose imperdonabile, non ci hanno permesso di entrare in sala con il cane per fare colazione. In un hotel dove dicevano che i cani erano ammessi. Mai più. State alla larga se avete un cane. Il sito non permette di inserire le foto, dovreste vederla la moquette.

Hotel molto bello, camera bella è pulita l'unico problema il bagno sprovvisto di tutto ( bagnoschiuma shampoo......) doccia non confortevole

Hotel come da aspettative. Pulito, kit di benvenuto con accappatoi, ciabatte, e asciugamani di 3 misure differenti. Pulizia come a casa. Silenzioso, e staff super. Consiglio a chiunque.

Das personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend

Zimmer waren sehr modern für italienische Verhältnisse und freundliches Personal. Frühstück war super!!

Das Service Personal beim Frühstücksbuffet war nicht wirklich anwesend. Tische waren nicht gereinigt und gedeckt. Teilweise sah es sehr unordentlich aus. Sachen die am Frühstücksbuffet aus waren , wurden erst nach mehrmaligen Fragen aufgefüllt

Gezellig hotel, rustig gelegen. Nabij luchthaven, maar niet merkbaar qua geluid. Ruime propere kamers. Voldoende keuze aan het ontbijt. 'S avonds kan je er ook gaan dineren. Eten was heel lekker en zeker niet duur. Heel vriendelijk personeel in het hele hotel. Parkeergarage ter beschikking

Bra standard och skick på hotellet. Utmärkt flr bara övernattning, närområdet består tyvärr av industri och lagerbyggnader. Behöver ta bilen för besöka andra restauranger eller dylikt

Gutes Hotel, nettes Personal, Essen war auch gut. Negativ war die Entfernung zur Stadt, ca. 20 Minuten Dennoch würden wir wieder dort übernachten.

Se siete alla ricerca di country house o resort bucolici, non è il posto giusto. se invece, come noi, siete alla ricerca di un hotel dove fare check in senza vincoli di orari e check out fino a mezzogiorno, è il posto giusto. Bella stanza, buona qualità del sonno, buona e varia colazione, accoglienza cortese, ampio parcheggio gratuito. Certo, è un business hotel in zona industriale, occorre tenerne conto in fase di prenotazione. Niente passeggiata serale a piedi partendo dall'hotel.

Beim Frühstück war das Rührei und auch der Speck zwar im Wärmeschalen, aber kalt, ansonsten war das Hotel ok

Das Hotel ist sehr gut geeignet für eine Kurzreise oder Stoppover . Die Zimmer sind sehr komfortabel und man findet alles was man braucht. Das Frühstück ist auch reichhaltig. Allerdings ist das Restaurant nicht zu empfehlen. Ich hatte eine Filetsteak das aufgetaut wurde und die Bratkartoffeln waren vom Vortag. Meine Begleitung hatte Spagetti die aus der Mikrowelle serviert wurden.
