Candlewood Suites Bismarck

Equipped kitchen with dishwasher, 2-burner stove top, sink, microwave, and full-size fridge, comfy large bed, spacious room, lots of space for clothes, toiletries, etc.

bathroom door would not lock, no breakfast, no pool, room size was nice

Not very clean this time we stayed. Looks pretty well worn. Time for an update!

The room was clean, but there was an awful smell in it. I couldn’t get rid of it no matter what I sprayed. Also, this is the most disappointing part. I passed over several other nice hotels with breakfasts to go to Candlewood because I know the Candlewood I have stayed at before had an absolutely unreal breakfast and I got ready to go to breakfast and there wasn’t one. I did a complete search filter and make sure that there would be a breakfast and when I did a search filter for pet friendly, and breakfast included this is one that came up and this is what I chose, but there wasn’t one. Absolutely devastated because their little Candlewood pantry where things were priced three times more than what you would find in the store right across the road, which is where I went, did not suffice. Staff was friendly, the front desk man was on his phone all of the time.
