The hotel was fine over all, but could definitely use some updates. The pool was small and a little cloudy but water was warm.

No hot water. Pool was not clean. Two tissues in the box. No lock on women’s public restroom.

The pool area was freezing if you offer a pool area year round, it should adjust to the conditions outside. The water was freezing on top of just the air in the area alone was freezing on top of it Being super cold, there were no towels, and when I addressed the staff, he brought me 4 towels and I was in a party of 6. The guy that works at the front desk. I didn't catch his name, but he was there This past weekend he looks like he hates life.

Sorry I had to reevaluate my room , upon actually settling in the room with my wife and kids the actual quality of the room started to be seen as it was late thanksgiving night after leaving a long evening at family I assumed the room was ok but no it wasn’t holes in the walls paint falling from ceiling in kitchen in kids food at the table only one remote that was shared between two rooms couch totally ruined and dysfunctional when you sit down the couch sinks in and collapsed hurting my back and legs no hot water on one of the coldest mornings a queen bed suite with multiple people and no toiletries given daily to accommodate but the bookings clearly state how many guests, smelly room old damaged furniture poor quality control no one should ever allow a room with this many defects to be rented or booked will never stay here again the room is terrible toilet overflowed huge gap in front door can see who walks by in the hallway just terrible and again it’s 30 degrees outside and there’s no hot water to shower in the morning . Indoor pool was ice cold felt like the kids and me were swimming

No hot water during entire stay. If we did have hot water it lasted 5 minutes at most. Every machine in the gym was out of service. Breakfast was good though.

Hotel was clean and beds comfortable. Unfortunately we had a group next door that partied and whooped it up until 2:00 am. The breakfast was good and the staff kept filling it and keeping it hot. Terrible potholes in the driveway that went unnoticed in the dark until we ran into them. Overall for the price it was good and could have gotten a better review if not for our inconsiderate neighbors.

Front desk check in was fast and person was friendly. Plenty of parking, clean rooms but they do need a little sprucing up (paint scuffed on wall, electricity outlet in lamp didn't work, shower head was loose sprayed all floor)

I liked that there was an indoor pool, where I can go at any time in the year.

Hotel was okay. Close to everything and the highway which was nice. Staff was nice. There wasn't a tub in the room, which we weren't used to and the shower had no hot water. Also, even though the pool was indoors and should be able to use year-round it was very cloudy and we opted to not swim because of that.

I so enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The woman at the counter was very sweet in the 28th. Very comfortable to talk to. The room was very clean & up to date. Really enjoyed it. Shower was beautiful. Just needed an extra towel to dry my hair. But, other than that, it was great!! I will come back to visit soon. I appreciate the hospitality. Thank you.

Average room but didn't like that the mattresses weren't covered w protector, also the only two chairs in the room were upholstered and they were absolutely filthy..i would not put an animal on them..as visible stains covered the chairs..

Room had ants, was dirty, very unpleasant.

This property is not in a great area. Older hotel, rooms outdated, carpet old, ripped and smells. The breakfast was not good and not much AC on in the lobby and food areas. Couldn’t find ice machine, only on 2 floors. Wasn’t told at check in. The room was clean but probably wouldn’t stay there again.

Clean and comfortable

Our original room was fairly clean however the pull out couch was broken. Upon finding this, the hotel was quick to offer a second room without charge. The second room provided was unclean and unsafe. There was a broken pipe beside the bed that one of our daughters stepped on and upon further inspection, a razor blade and sex game were also found under the bed. The next morning, the manager did offer a discount on our second night and assured us that both of our rooms would be deep cleaned while we were out. When we returned later that evening, neither room had been deep cleaned and the room with the broken pipe hadn’t even been vacuumed. They did not give us any further discounts but the manager on duty did at least come vacuum. I’m very disappointed in the communication abilities of this hotel and will not be staying here again. The Sunday manager said “well, we already discounted you” so I guess the safety of their customers isn’t worth any further discounts. I only gave the extra star because the original room did seem fairly clean and the GM seemed helpful and friendly but in the end, I’m not sure they deserve the second star.

Our room smelled like mildew. The bathroom walls showed evidence of prior water damage. The toilet leaked.

When we arrived at the hotel, our bed had very obviously been laid in, and there was a key card already on the end table. We assumed the room had been double booked, so we informed the front desk staff who immediately put us in an upgraded room. The upgraded room was missing lightbulbs, reeked of cigarette smoke, and was incredibly dirty with a visibly soiled carpet. The only redeeming quality of this hotel was that the breakfast was good .

Overall, my family and I had an enjoyable time. However, I will say that the hotel could use some updates. I reserve two suites that accommodate 7 people. But the sofa beds were extremely uncomfortable. In one suite, the sofa bed was missing some springs and in another the mattress had stains on it. Also, there was a metal pieces sticking out of the ottoman in the living room. The carpet could use a shampoo and a good vacuum.

Nothing unique. I just got what I paid, but not bad. AC was very loud and vibrating all the night.

Always a fun time here! Only complaint would be the sofa beds. They are so uncomfortable. We always stay here when we travel and have only had to use the sofa beds twice. Two different rooms and both sofa beds were horrible!

This was my second stay at this hotel in two years, and it was the same, rooms are dated, but clean, and comfortable. They have been saying they are due for a renovation for awhile. I was towards the back and used the back elevator as there is one on each side of building. I got a cookie (last one!) at check in while the staff member spent a few minutes finishing a call, but she was apologetic. I noticed in the morning, when I went to lower the temperature on the AC/Heating unit, that it did not work or turn on. I was comfortable the night before so I didn't try to turn it on but remember thinking it was odd it never turned on all night. I was in room 423. The sink didn't seem to have hot water, so I was worried when showering in morning, if it would be hot, but not only was it hot, the water pressure was the best of any of the ~100 or so hotel's I have stayed at, it was literally a blast! Fantastic water pressure wow! The rooms have keurigs which was nice. They have the dispensers for soap, shampoo, etc and luckily all were full. Breakfast was fine, went down an hour before close, grabbed 2 cinnamon rolls, and after the other 6 were gone, that was it for the day, staff said they were out! Eggs and sausage were good, juice machine full, the man working wasn't overly friendly, but did keep things restocked! Good coffee too! The breakfast was pretty good! I'd certainly stay again and stay in the area 2-3x/year if the price is right, I stay here or Hampton usually.

The stay itself was nice just an overnight stay. The convenience of being just off the highway but was able to hear some of the traffic. Place was clean. Breakfast was a nice way to start the day.

It is quiet.

I was there one night, everything nice and clean, only reason I gave a 4 star was because at 6:00am couldn’t sleep because i could literally hear the tv in the next room. Walls are too thin and i could hear people talking, but overall, it was very convenient, clean, good location and near few stores and restaurants. Will definitely stay again!

When checking in, the clerk seemed extremely inconvenienced by me checking in. She had zero interaction on any level. Took very long time to check in. Clearly this person should be seeking a different line of work. Only seemed to be one hotel person working. Clearly appeared understaffed. Family with kids had to seek out front desk clerk for items empty on breakfast bar. Tv and remotes (2) were incredibly complicated and kept popping up ad to sign on to some stuff i didnt want, then it was imposssible to close pop up ad and you had to turn tv off to reboot tv. Then pop up ad would come back minutes later. Why cant anyone come up with one simple remote to turn on and watch tv? U have to be a tech genius to figure this stuff out, especially at the end of the day when ur exhausted. Thats so crazy. The ac/heater box under window is horrible and i would say is a extreme saftey hazard. (Rm 227) front lobby doorway smelled like a sewage backup, and thats no exaggeration. :( In the morning, a new front desk clerk said good morning to me when i got off elevator and smiled; my best interaction with staff, but she was hidden in a chair behind the counter. Who trains and oversees these employees? Might want to start there. Why on earth would good paying customers ever have to think and even deal with this. What happened to pride in the workplace? P.s. contact me if u need any inside investigators. I know Holiday Inn expects far more from thier hotels. :(

Nice place but understaffed. Front desk had nobody present on a few different occasions we needed service including to check in when we had to wait for over 15 minutes the first time when someone showed up and said that check in wasn’t for 50 more minutes. We waited until later that night and had the same experience with nobody at the front desk to check us in and another couple there who had been waiting for an extended time. I will not stay at this property again.

I checked in around 530pm on a Saturday. There was no one at the desk for 15 mins. I rang the bell and called from my phone, no answer. There was also a line of people complaining about lack of hot water. When the person finally came, he didn’t apologize for the wait nor was his greeting very friendly or welcoming. Rooms were clean. Rugs in hallways needed vacuuming.overall stay was mediocre.

Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Supplied us with soap , shampoo , conditioner etc. Every-time I made a call to the front desk they were supportive and cared for all my needs. Pool was nice and warm Food was delicious, the chefs were very nice & respectful. Each morning there was a different selection of hot and fresh food .

Friendly staff very efficient and courteous.

This hotel has great staff that work in the front lobby. The staff is always friendly and very accommodating. The free breakfast offered is nice.

Quick check-in; breakfast was solid. The toilet clogged up during our stay, and the staff addressed it very quickly. Great value.

Staff and rooms were great.

Didn't use the correct credit card even though they confirmed that they had it, then locked us out of our room on night two because they tried the wrong card. Front desk employee that night was super rude.

The property seemed like it was in a seedy area. But once you are in the hotel, it was fine.

Close to major highway.

Quiet and comfortable place. We appreciated the location very much because it was close to downtown but not right in downtown. I will be staying there again!

This hotel is a good version of standard issue with an above-average breakfast and an attractive indoor pool. It is hard to find at night and could use a light on the sign at the entrance. There is a brightly lit Hilton across the road, and Waze doesn't make clear where the Holiday Inn is, so I wasted time trying to check into the wrong hotel.

Hotel was clean, quiet and convenient to the highway and a nice business strip. Staff could have been a bit friendlier but no one was rude or anything. Breakfast was really good with a lot of choices. Attendant working the breakfast area was very pleasant and helpful. Would definitely return.

Good location easy ON and OFF the highway close to restaurants and shopping stores. Very clean, great value very helpful and friendly staff. I would definitely recommend this location and stay here again.

We feel sorry that we didn't realize that we could hang a sign on our door to indicate that we did not need our room to be tidied up after our first night of staying there. We thought the breakfast was excellent. We had many choices and some really tasty omelettes.

Location did not have coffee throughout the day. Breakfast was so so at best.

Our stay at this Holiday Inn was excellent. My wife and I stayed at this Holiday Inn for 15 days. The staff, especially Manager Muhammad, John, and a lady at the front desk (whose name might be Yaneque) were very friendly and made every effort to ensure our stay was as comfortable as possible. The breakfast was good as well. They served apples, oranges, scrambled eggs, sausages, oatmeal, yogurt, pancakes, bread, bagels, and cereals. I enjoyed bagels, scrambled eggs, oatmeal, and especially yogurt every morning. This Holiday Inn is very close to Whole Foods Market, Costco, and Stop & Shop. The drive to Yale University was easy, mainly because I drove mostly on an expressway. If I go back to Yale University, I will definitely stay at this Holiday Inn again.

The breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfast that I have ever had.

Everything was good about the hotel- room conduit, bed and pillows. Water pressure in the bathroom shower was very low. Breakfast finished at 10 am on weekends but they ran out of everything by 9 on both days I stayed. Staff were ok but didn’t seem that friendly on front desk and breakfast area. Aside of breakfast situation everything was overall ok

The breakfast close at 9:30 30min. Before eent they supposed close at 10 am on sunday
