Indoor pool was excellent Very clean

Chose hotel with indoor pool, it was closed. Elevator not working. AC unit not working properly. Would not cool the room. Room is more rundown than in pictures.

Staffing displayed excellent service. The owners REALLY need major overhaul of the building. If you look closely, one could see once it was an 5 star hotel. MAJOR concerns which is safety is the elevator. The permit says 9/2023 last inspection. Ugh, I sent email to John King State of Georgia Fire Safety Commissioner. This falls under his office. Lastly, we are all people , why or this oversight laps happen? What if fire broke out ? I know to take the stairs, would others ? What if the elevator falls or entrapments. This would be huge pay day for lawyers and person filing.

I stayed at this property because it had a indoor heated pool. The water was frigid! The manager said the part was on order. Me and my kids were very disappointed! We didn't enjoy 😒

Poor AC - had to set on 68 to get cool, feet stuck to bathroom floor, no trash can in the bathroom, poor lighting - no light on one of the nightstands, rickety and filthy elevator with sticky floor, out of order signs on ice machines, atm machines; no creamer for the coffee on Monday

There were fruit flies in my room. The security lock on my room door was missing a screw and hanging. The pool was out of service. With jo online notice.

We specifically picked this hotel for the pool, which was non functioning. Room was tidy, but no hot water for shower, entire hotel grubby, no functioning ice machine. Elevator was not safe. Continental breakfast was just fine.

Breakfast was good. Room was only surface clean. Towels were not replenished. Facility in need of updating and paint. Torn furniture in room, drapery rod coming off wall. Woodwork worn. Pool out of service

Let me start with staff, all of the staff members displayed professionalism and courtesy. Here is WHAT is major concerns " the elevator " the inspection placard states last inspection 9/2023 John F. King Commission red flag. In the event of fire I would know the take the stairs, would other? The elevator opens and closes on it own. Weird.... The owners of the building placard in the lobby JK Stone Mountain LLC wondered if that's actually true? If so how could they allow their building permit on elevator to expire and risk lives? Look before you leap !

My room was never serviced the entire time that I was there. Mold on the shower curtain, the tub was dirty and our linen was never changed and they never once cleaned the room. Also they never gave us clean towels. And never made the beds. A total mess.

The entire hotel NEEDS work. The elevator had not been inspected since 2023, there was also mold along the bottom trim. The room we stayed in had a terrible odor. The staircase in the lobby had several missing railings.

Do not stay here unless you want to stay in a smoke smelling, dirty room. Shower curtain was full of mold and the tub was so slimy. There was stains all over the towels. Stab holes all over the walls. Carpet was so nasty with big stains everywhere. As soon saw and smelled the room I went back to the clerk and was told it wasn't their problem. Wouldn't even try to change room. Was told it was nothing he was going to do about it. It was so horrible. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!!

The hotel is nasty

I was in a non smoking room but there was a stagnant smoke smell all along. There was dust on the furniture and carpet was not cleaned. I had a severe episode of asthma and am fortunate that i did not land up in the ER.

Icky vibes. Bathroom is not clean, bed had pieces of hair. Sheets had stains on them. Although the bed was comfy . EVERYTHING else was dirty or dingy. The pillows are half the size of normal pillows. In addition The place gives haunted vibes. I felt dirty takin a shower notthere.

The property is outdated, but decent. The bathroom was disgusting. The tub had a ring of dirt around it, and the shower curtains are so dirty that theyre discolored.

We were in room 320 the shower head was broken had to hold while taking shower. The shower curtain had mildew on it. The carpet in the room needs shampoo it sticks. The place needs a good cleaning period.

As soon as we walked into the room, we smelled a strong smell of mildew/mold. The walls and the ceiling were swollen and had water spots. There was garbage around the bottom of the bed. The carpet was filthy. The towels were dirty and seemed to be worn down and used. The overall experience was unbearable and we could not stay there. We checked out immediately after. A refund would not even make me feel any better about this experience.

Time to get new beds, they’re sunken in.

Air conditioning is very loud, windows are sealed. After some time a dump smell appears and not going away. Continental breakfast is dissent, includes waffles, scrambled eggs any over salted koftas.

Staff was friendly, property and rooms were clean, internet was slow at best.

The building was clean staff was nice but the room was hot the A/C knob was missing from the unit we went with several friends who stayed here as well we had 4 room’s total all 4 rooms the A/c did not work properly luckily it’s early fall so it was not miserable but it was very uncomfortable

The cleanliness was fine,our problem was our room was too hot,maintenance was suppose to come the next day to check the air conditioner but never showed up.Also the ice machine stopped working on the 2nd floor and it never worked on the 3rd floor.

Went here for my honeymoon and it was ok. The location is very convenient, and pretty much anything you want or need is not even a half a mile away from the hotel. At first when we pulled up, I was kind of hesitant because there was a lady sitting outside smoking in her green lawn chair, and was looking kind of rough so I was already assuming the worst. The bed slept really good, but the water pressure was really bad and sucked as far as showering, and the tv channels were not very entertaining. The website advertisement says they have HBO, but they don’t have HBO or any movie channels for that matter. I called down to the front desk and asked what channel it was and was told by the front desk clerk that I’d have to look at the tv guide but there was no tv guide or tv guide channel on the tv, so that was a bummer. Ice machine on our floor was broken so we had to go down to the 2nd floor for ice. It was really hard to connect to their WiFi, and when you did finally connect it didn’t seem to work to good. All in all the stay was ok, but the amenities weren’t as good as I expected.

The location was good and had lots of food choices and convenient things nearby, even though it was off the main interstate (285). Outside of that, I was not impressed. A lot of things are out of order: pool, m/w lobby bathrooms, juice machine at breakfast, our bathroom fan. In the room, the carpets were old and worn and could use replacing. Most of the hotel was in that condition. Our room was missing pictures with holes in the walls where they used to be, the shower head seemed 20 years old, tile could be refreshed, and the TV was frustrating to use. No channel guide and there were channels that didn't come in, but it took time to go to each channel because it took a few seconds to even show if it was a station or "no signal". The "breakfast" was very minimal. One of those waffle machines (mini waffles), powdered eggs, toast, 2 cereal choices. Juice machine was out of order so there was a jug of juice and milk in the mini fridge. I appreciate there was even breakfast, but it was dismal at best compared to many other hotels. I wouldn't stay here again unless there was nothing else. They wouldn't give me a receipt since I used a "third party" (Expedia) because they said those rates were less than theirs. Huh? What does that have to do with a receipt? They also required a separate $100 deposit. That's a sign

This is a very old property and needs to be completely redone to include replacing the mattresses that were lopsided. I do not recommend staying at this location until it has been redone

Noisy traffic

The credit card system didn’t work. They staff tried blaming it on lack of funds. Used same card to retrieve cash out of their atm machine. Had to pay $100 security deposit for one nights stay. Very disrespectful staff/owners

They didnt have the room ready at the time of check in. We had to wait 3 hours later. We had booked two rooms and they onky had one available, we were not allowed access to the othed room, they told us fo contact Hotels.com They have horrible customer service skills and dont care about their guest. I would like to be compensated or accommodated for me and my families inconvenience. Our pipes burst in our home an we thought thiswould be a nice place to stay while repairs are being done to my home

The staff was very friendly. The lobby was beautiful. I did not ever get up early enough to go to the continental breakfast so I have no review on that. The room was very clean. I was very satisfied. But the elevator was absolutely disgusting like it had never been cleaned.

The staff were helpful and pleasant. The facilities were clean and tidy.

Check in time is 3pm. We arrived at 4 and was told we would have to wait 30 minutes for the room to be ready. The wait was almost an hour. This was a huge inconvenience to our trip

We booked this hotel for the indoor pool but they never put on their website that it has been closed down so that was frustrating. Then the breakfast had no coffee because it needed to be serviced it was extremely limited despite what was described on the website. Also during breakfast not once did the guy get up to clean or refill any of the juice so if you decided to have breakfast it was all fine after 1 1/2 hrs when it had another 2 hrs to go and when asking the guy literally shrugged his shoulder and continued to play on his phone. The walls of the room are a joke u could hear above us the people having sex, u could hear word for word the conversation on either side of us and could hear the doors slam from under us. They had great pillows for the bed but that was about it. The older gentleman at the front desk in the early morning was super nice and would see him cleaning but the rest of the staff was unhelpful or lazy.

Huge hole in the pool window from the outside. Our room had mold on the ceiling. Parking was right up to the sidewalk and felt unsafe. Hard to get in and out of the parking lot because of traffic. At check in I was asked to confirm what was on the machine and I told the staff member checking me in that it was not me on the screen and he did not believe me until I turned the screen to him and then he hit a bunch of buttons and said I was good. Was a little unsettling.

Everything was clean and the area was easy to get to and close to the main highway.

The staff are hospitable and the hotel are near the Stone Natl Park where we are having our vacation.

100 dollars deposit, outdated and not so clean. The internet is very slow. Entrance is on an off ramp so you have to go around to get in or out.

My car along with six other guests was broken into. The front desk clerk was less than helpful and the police informed that burglaries happen at least twice a week at this location. I do not recommend.

The lady who checked us in was great and very accommodating. The breakfast was better than we expected, with eggs and sausage, besides the normal things. It would have been nice to have some fresh fruit and yogurt though. Overall, it was a very good stay.

We enjoy the stay it was nice we got up at 7and they was no more breakfast the people's that was at the hotel ate up everything and it was not enough for other to eat. Other then that it was nice.

The pictures oversell the hotel. They only served waffles, cereal, coffee, and juice and nothing else. Their “hot” breakfast is a joke! The pics show a warmer (to make people think additional hot food) but it was not present. The refrigerator held only milk and butter, no yogurt. There were no muffins, bagels, or fruit either. The room was dingy with burn marks on the sink mirror, several scuffs and splash marks on the walls, the bathroom door veneer peeling, and oil stains on the bedspreads. The floor was sticky. While the room looked tidy (as in someone straightened it) it did not look well maintained or taken care of. I have stayed at this brand of hotel many times and this was not on par with the brand. It did not even meet expectation much less impress!
