The reviews on this property are very misleading. Don't get me wrong, the rooms are nicely renovated, however, the walls are paper thin (was woken up one night to others extra curricular activities) then could hear a dog barking and baby crying. Breakfast had the samething every day. The first day the eggs were cold as well as the sausage gravy. Which is in a building off to the side of the property. The outdoor pool area looked like a storage area, I also made the mistake of walking to the back of the property which looked like a dumping ground for anything and everything. The front desk area is locked from 11p to 7a, so don't plan on needing anything at all.

This property is in the process of being renovated. The rooms are clean and modern. The only short term issue with this property is that due to the renovations, there is a lot of construction materials and old furniture sitting around the edge of the property. Once that is cleaned up There will be no other issues that I can identify.

Motel is in need of a complete renovation, there was no internet and had been broken for over a week. The pool had dirty water and piles of pool furniture, like it hadn’t been open for years. Stair area was dirty, walk ways had spots of sloppy painting. We will not stay here again.

I unfortunately did not have the opportunity to stay here. I purchased the room once their office was closed (not knowing the office closes at 11 pm). They should not be selling rooms if they are already closed. ( i purchased at around 11:30pm) I had to struggle finding a hotel that had vacancy but luckily Days Inn was able to accommodate my needs.

Summary: We booked this hotel as this was one of the few hotels that had walkin showers in manitou springs. If that is a requirement for you, this hotel is a decent option. Otherwise it is a pretty mediocre hotel The bad: -Breakfast was not good. They had very few choices and pretty poor quality. They ran out of one of the (only decent) cereal and didn't replenish it for a few days. They were running out of bread constantly we had to ask them to replenish that. -The front desk service was hit or miss. One of the guys was very nice. The other one not so much - The first room they gave us didn't have any wifi service. We had to ask for a room closer to the reception. In the new room, wifi there was pretty good. -We took a room with a kitchen. They had a stove but nothing else. -There is no elevator. For us it was not a big deal but if you have trouble with stairs, you should get a downstairs room. -Walls were thin. We could hear people speaking outside some times, alarm going off in one of the rooms. It was not too bad btw. -In the night (around 9 PM) we had strong smell of frying oil. It lasted for about 1 hour and then went away. Not sure where it was from but it was not very comfortable. The good: -Centrally located. Everything was close. -Convenient parking. -The place was generally pretty clean. -Based amenities in the room are good - Bed, shower, toiletries etc. -Walkin shower and parking close to room worked out well for us

An older property that was attempting to be upgraded. WiFi was not operable. Laundry facilities were a shambles as no machines were working and had been vandalized. Very noisy most of the night as the walls and floors were thin and it always sounded like someone was moving furniture or repairing something above me.

Floors in our room were so dirty I had to lay towels down to walk on with bare feet or my feet would get dirty. Walking with socks got my socks dirty, disgusting. Bathroom door was warped and didn’t latch, bed was creaky making lots of noise every time we rolled over. We had been looking forward to relaxing i the pool but, no water in it. Weeds and debris throughout the property.

Don’t waste your money or enjoyment. There are 20 other motels lined up with cleaner and trusting owners. Shower had mold peeling off while showering. Remote was sticky with red candy. The floors were sticky too. Left yeti lunch bag, property called us while on road. Once I got signal I called back multiple times and left message. Couple days later called from different phone and got owner. Stated he threw all my pots pans in trash and yeti bag was not in room. I tricked him by saying “you threw away a 180 dollar yeti bag?” Owner replied “it was 140.” So I said you you did see the bag and looked up the price?” Owner started to stutter and say it was in trash too. Again there are about 20 motels lined up with much nicer rooms and trusting owners.

The desk clerk was friendly enough and did give us a courtesy call when we were running late for check. The property was slightly rundown, the shower, stall and tub were dirty, the wall was filthy next to the trashcan, and the floor was grimy. The mediocre breakfast was cold. Will not stay here again.

Pros: good location to Garden of the Gods, aesthetic & spacious. GM and hospitality staff were nice. Cons: Walls weren’t completely painted, nearby closet/hangers were covered in white construction dust, floor was dirty and found the pillows with short hairs on them on arrival. Blankets also had a certain smell to them.

Bathroom shower was moldy, door would not close. Could no shut the bathroom door as there was no room to if standing. I looked as they were working on stuff. Bathroom sink faucet was loose. Overall not clean. Breakfast was pretty much nonexistent, I had a bagel. Went to check out…nobody to give me my receipt, So no idea what the final charge will be ! Should have asked for a refund !! Sorry, never give reviews but this place a lest than zero in my opinion!!

Room floor was dirty. Towel was torn, dirty spots and only one towel. Had to ask for second one. Breakfast was exactly the same every day for 5 days. Some days it was cold and had to warm eggs in microwave.

It’s old dirty, and the smoke detector was in a drawer… It was very noisy. It was very dirty. The staff was very helpful and very sweet, but it was just not a very good property.

The rooms are nicer than the outside lets on, but water pressure for showers is HORRIBLE, literally the worst I've ever seen. The shower also had not been cleaned well, there was dirt visible on the floor and shampoo marks on the glass doors. However, location is phenomenal.

For a budget-friendly option, this was a great property. The room was huge and the bed comfortable. You can tell the owners take pride in the place and are active working on small updates. I’d definitely stay there again.

The outsude looked old and run down. Rooms where remodeled and very clean and nice. Bathroom had a door and the toilet had it's own door too!! Great when traveling with older children. Convenient location. Pool was out of commission. Very affordable, would stay again. Pet friendly.

Our tv did not wotk when we got there. There was water on the floor and the airconditioner was noisey. They were quick to fix problems.

Pros: Had a continental breakfast (on the smaller side, but still some good choices). The staff was friendly, and the guy working the breakfast was very diligent. The price was also a lot cheaper that some of the other options. Location wise it was great to get to Garden of the Gods and other attractions. Cons: The main issue I had was the cleanliness. The shower curtain was riddled with odd stains, and there was trash all in the stairwell. Also, the smoke detector had been removed from our room. The fan in the bathroom wouldn't turn off either. I tried to let the establishment know about the smoke detector but couldn't get ahold of someone on our last day.

It was a comfortable room and great for a quick one-night stay. The fridge and microwave were great. Our room didn't have hand soap. The only complaint I had was it very noisy and there were people above us that were extremely loud outside their room at midnight. Because the front desk closed at 11:00 pm, there was no one to call to report the noise.

I unfortunately did not have the opportunity to stay here. I purchased the room once their office was closed (not knowing the office closes at 11 pm). They should not be selling rooms if they are already closed. ( i purchased at around 11:30pm) I had to struggle finding a hotel that had vacancy but luckily Days Inn was able to accommodate my needs.

Summary: We booked this hotel as this was one of the few hotels that had walkin showers in manitou springs. If that is a requirement for you, this hotel is a decent option. Otherwise it is a pretty mediocre hotel The bad: -Breakfast was not good. They had very few choices and pretty poor quality. They ran out of one of the (only decent) cereal and didn't replenish it for a few days. They were running out of bread constantly we had to ask them to replenish that. -The front desk service was hit or miss. One of the guys was very nice. The other one not so much - The first room they gave us didn't have any wifi service. We had to ask for a room closer to the reception. In the new room, wifi there was pretty good. -We took a room with a kitchen. They had a stove but nothing else. -There is no elevator. For us it was not a big deal but if you have trouble with stairs, you should get a downstairs room. -Walls were thin. We could hear people speaking outside some times, alarm going off in one of the rooms. It was not too bad btw. -In the night (around 9 PM) we had strong smell of frying oil. It lasted for about 1 hour and then went away. Not sure where it was from but it was not very comfortable. The good: -Centrally located. Everything was close. -Convenient parking. -The place was generally pretty clean. -Based amenities in the room are good - Bed, shower, toiletries etc. -Walkin shower and parking close to room worked out well for us

Very friendly staff who welcomed us and made us feel at home. Room was surprisingly large and well furnished, we enjoyed the hardwood floors. Close to down town and great food options. Plan on staying again.

I chose this hotel because it was close to Balanced Rock of the Garden of the Gods, Wow it was 2 minutes driving from the park and I got the opportunity to see deer at the near by city park

I’ve stayed at this hotel before. They have upgraded since the . The rooms were nice and spacious. The outside of the hotel is just okay. but it is very close to the Garden of the Gods and downtown Manitou Springs

Nice staff and well placed for a walk into ye olde Manitou, constant, traffic has a 20mph limit but hotel is opposite traffic lights so start and stop of old cameros with loud pipes is an issue.

I believe they are in the process of improving. It is close to activities but not close enough to walk. There are several dining options in walking distance and many others within a couple minutes drive. Very easy access to Garden of the Gods

Based on favorable ratings from previous travelers to this hotel, we booked this hotel but found those ratings to be misleading. We found this hotel to be old and in need of MANY upgrades. Bed creaked, walls dirty, stains on bed linens, layout of bathroom and sink were terrible, bugs in the room. The breakfast was disappointing at best. Limited choices and what choices were available was not restocked when it went empty. For the price that was charged for our room, I would NOT recommend a stay at Quality Inn in Manitou Springs.

Room floor was dirty. Towel was torn, dirty spots and only one towel. Had to ask for second one. Breakfast was exactly the same every day for 5 days. Some days it was cold and had to warm eggs in microwave.

It was terrible the place was not nice at all It was 3 of us and they only have towels for 2 Breakfast we arrive a bit after 8:00am and was no more eggs not bacon or patties only waffles. No juices and when I ask the waiter about it he answers rude. I will not recommend this location.

Good price, basic quality. Beds were comfortable. Looked to have been some water damage in the ceiling and in the bathroom. Like maybe the room above flooded. But a poor attempt was made to repair the damage. That didn't bother us, though. The entire property could use some updating. Our biggest issue was with the "breakfast" being offered. There was one guy racing around to put it all out. The diner area was so run down and old that the breakers popped every time the toaster was used. The whole room seemed to be on that one breaker so everything in the place would shut down. Plus they were out of most every thing, ran out of bagels, yogurt, apples, jam. The "breakfast" started at 7am and were arrived at 7:15. Not good to run out 15 minutes after you open, being we were the second to arrive.

I would have scored it a bit better if it wasn't for the German cockroach in the kitchen area. Breakfast doesn't start until 7 and real people are up and ready at 6...like most places do. Just not impressed.

This is a motel. All rooms open to parking lot. The room was clean and quiet. Breakfast was in an adjacent building it was a typical breakfast. Only a few miles to Manitou Springs. Very close to back entrance to Garden of the gods!

Breakfast was complicated, take a voucher to a restaurant, and go to a specific section with few options that were not great. The front desk in only manned 8am to 4pm outside those hours it’s a strange telecom device. Also the guy in front of us was given a key to an occupied room, so not cool. The actual room itself was okay no complaints.

Not a bad place to stay for a budget friendly location. Breakfast is reasonable and location is perfect for access to Manitou Springs. Walking distance to the Dillon station for free Metro bus to Manitou Springs/pikes Peak/incline.

The property itself was located in a great spot and the rooms were very clean. We arrived late in the night and found that there was no one at the front desk, instead they have a kiosk that you must use to check in with, and the kiosk has a virtual person performing the check in. They gave us an already occupied room, which wasn’t great. Went back and got another room and everything was good thereafter.
