Comfort Suites University Area Notre Dame-South Bend

Fairly clean room. Had to place a bar of soap on the shower floor bc there are no shelves or baskets for such. Facility itself is run down. I can’t tell if they are in the middle of a remodel or if this is how it is. Two night minimum for graduation weekend is a ripoff. Would not stay there again.

There were rips in the carpet and bugs seen in the facility. It is not a place we will use again for business travel.

Stay away! This hotel is rundown and not kept up. I’m guessing they don’t bother paying to keep it up because the college is so close. The pool is downright disgusting. This felt more like a transient hotel or motel. Lots of nicer options in the area.

This was the worst stay I’ve ever had at a Choice Hotel! First I checked in between 7:30-8 only to be informed that the hot tub in my room couldn’t be used from 9pm to 6am as a Choice reward member and as many Comfort inns if as I’ve stayed at that has never been an issue especially when the “jetted hot tub” is literally in the bathroom & a 1/3 of the size! This defeated the whole purpose of getting a hot tub suite I.E paying extra, on top of the room having no air conditioning and the room being uncomfortably hot through the night

Clean and comfortable. Affordable.
