The pictures on-line vs what you see when you get there...Furniture is not only outdated, but the wood is worn and shows through the black paint on most pieces, the hot tubs handles were removed, the rugs may never have been stretched; literally 2-3" ripples ALL over the room. When we turned on the water in the bathroom and shower, it blew air, then spit water. The bathroom sink leaked onto your feet while using the basin. The common areas haven't seen care for over a decade. The ladies room in the lobby had an out of service sign, but staff assured us it was fine. They just do that to keep out riff-raff. The pool was out of service, and our bill was printed on the back of an old guest ledger sheet. We were given names, dates, room numbers, rates, and total bill pricing for some 8-10 guests from December 2021. The restaurant does not appear to have been in business for years. They take deposits on the keys for your room (was returned several days later) and for all of the "waivers" you have to initial to be good citizens when you check in, they seem to have no problem with weed being smoked everywhere. Including no smoking rooms. The bed was uncomfortable. Bedding was stained. The best thing we can say is, the parking was free.

Pool was empty. Key didn’t work 2nd night I was let in but never got an active key do I couldn’t leave my room. Had to call staff as no one was at the Desk. Breakfast was 5 pancakes, toast, dry cereal. Towel rack was gone in bathroom, and I believe smeared poop on the wall. All room appliances were unplugged and plugs by bed wouldn’t hold a iPhone chareger plug it just fell out of the wall. Won’t stay again at any of their facilities.

The neighborhood is rundown. The hallway and room carpets were filthy. The bathroom was clean but no garbage can in bathroom. The pillows were nice but small. The bed was okay. The breakfast consisted of a pancake machine, toast, 2 types of cereal, and juice. Bottom line, you get what you pay for. For future guests there is NO pool or hot tub.

The room carpet was dirty and stained. The couch looked like it was in a frat house for 10 years. Their complimentary breakfast was toast or corn flakes. The pool was empty and they said it hasn’t been in use for awhile, even though they list it and have pictures of it on their website. The grounds was less desired. Certainly not a “Ramada Hotel” standard in all aspects. I would have changed hotels but I had enough going on since I was in Bettendorf for my fathers passing.

The photos havent been updated since they open the place. In hindsight the lobby was a tell all. The pool has been out of service since Covid started. The continental breakfast included donut holes, toast, cold cereal, and a pancake maker. The orange juice machine is broken with a push hard sign on it and they upgraded my room 3 times with every room being consecutively worst then the last. They also charge a 100$ coincidental fee knowing that the rooms are already damaged.

This property looks like it used to be real nice. Now, every cost cutting measure possible has been taken. Pool has been empty for 5 years. Gym: Closed. I was looking for the cheapest place I could get but after staying there, I realized that there is a reason to spend more money. It seemed like the rapture had taken place and left just a handful of us sinners. Also, the bathtub was mostly clogged leaving us ot shower in 3 inches of water. By hey, it wasn't dangerous.

The room itself was adequate and it was in a good location for me near some good restaurants. However the common areas of the property were poorly kept up. The pool was completely closed and from peering into that room, it appeared to have been vacated quite some time ago. Similarly the exercise room was completely closed. At breakfast I had a good Belgian waffle but the other food options were limited despite lots of space available. It didn't help that the juice machine was broken, leaving only coffee and milk available to drink. Even the 3rd floor ice machine sat behind a door that was locked. During check-in the employees were friendly but it took a long time because they had lots of problems with the front desk computers. My overall impression is that this may have been a good hotel years ago but at some point Ramada got cheap and decided to cut out spending on all common area elements. Luckily I only stayed here one night so it spoil my trip that much. If you are in town multiple nights, spend the extra money for something better.

I checked in later in the evening, andbthe staff member who checked me in was friendly, but had limited communication. Forst problem ise security deposit is $100 per room (on card, not cash). Never have I paid that much around here, especially for a propert as run down as this one. I had 2 rooms, one being the jacuzzi suite. The one they put me in though was not one I booked by pictures, which is why I chose the onen I did. He kept repeating their internal room codes like that would help. Finally settled in just having to pay a discounted extra cost for something not even my fault. The carpet was pulled up and a tripping hazard, the bench in the bathroom was broken, and the hot tub didnt have a drain. The other room had stained sheets, the AC didnt work on the shared room, there was a shoe leftover from the last guest, the toiletries werent stocked, and there were spiders. The the day manager the following morning helped move us rooms, but it didnt fix my dissatisfaction. Also, one of the front doors has been broken for months, and the pool has been shut down for longer. This is worse than a Motel 8 at the price of a fancy hotel.

It turned out to be a dump, black mold it the bathroom, the toilet didn't flush , and the beds were full sized beds instead of the queen sized we reserved. The beds had 3 (each) very uncomfortable pillows (one of them smelled bad) and the sheets were dingy white. The carpet was dirty as well. It was a disappointing stay, I wouldn't recommend this establishment to anyone. We ended up checking out at 3:00am and risk driving home instead of staying any longer.

When I inquired about the uncleanliness and if I could get a refund for the second night that I had booked, the staff were not too concerned by stating they were short on staff and any inquiries could be made with the manager the following week. Unfortunately this property is not worth the money per night.

The room was absolutely terrible. The sheets were stained. The bathroom had no soap. The walls were peeling. The carpets were stained. It was so gross that I slept on top of the blankets. I took photos if anyone wants to see them.

The hotel room was not like the the property pictured on your site. The rooms are old and smelly. There are holes in the walls. I attached pictures. One was a dead roach under the covers on the bed. I also saw a live roach crawl out the dresser. The other picture is what the bottom of the mattress looks like. The phone in the room did not work nor the fridge. Move to another room and it smelled also. Did not stay the night and asked for a refund. They refused. Please Hotels. Com not sending people here. The hotel is nasty and the health department should be called because they service breakfast with roaches in their roomss

Outside is sketchy. Outside door was broke and had to be pushed open and closed. Rooms was dirty, blood on wall, dirty sheets, dirty lamp. Pool closed. Bathrooms in lobby didn’t work. Vending machines didn’t work. Ceiling tiles missing from ceiling. Patched holes in the walls in the hallway.

Outside is sketchy. Outside door was broke and had to be pushed open and closed. Rooms was dirty, blood on wall, dirty sheets, dirty lamp. Pool closed. Bathrooms in lobby didn’t work. Vending machines didn’t work. Ceiling tiles missing from ceiling. Patched holes in the walls in the hallway.

This property does not look like it does in the pictures and it is disgustingly dirty. We checked in and felt weird about it from the start with metal pieces laying on the floor and the pool was closed. Paid the outrageous deposit even though my gut feeling was bad. Got into the elevator and it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in years. Visible inches of dirt in the cracks of the doorway. Got into our room and the carpet was rolled up in some spots (like disconnected to the floor underneath). There was damage to some of the walls and lampshades where barely hanging on sideways. There was damage to the bathroom door where there must have been a mirror in the past. We didn’t even unpack or touch anything. I was afraid we would get charged for the damage already done to the room. So, we went back down to the counter and told them that we were not staying there because it was dirty and unsafe. She tried to offer another room but we picked one of the higher end rooms to begin with so we knew a different room was going to be the same way. She was able to refund the deposit but not the room because we purchased the room though Expedia. I contacted Expedia and they said they would call the hotel and see if we could be refunded. A few days later Expedia emailed me and said there was nothing they could do since the hotel has a strict cancellation policy. Don’t stay here! It is a scam and it doesn’t matter if your safety is on the line! They will not refund you!

The room was very outdated and dirty. My socks were black from just walking in the room. The sofa sleeper had no mattress, so the sofa cushions kept sliding back. The shower curtain rod was not installed correctly causing the bathroom to become soaking wet. The bed was thin and pillows flat and uncomfortable.

It was cheap, so that was a plus. The property is pretty run down; there were like 8 cameras at the front desk. The sign off list to check in included odd rules, like "if you are in the room for 5 minutes, we will charge you for a night" and a $5 charge for room keys not being turned in. Overall, it was pretty run down, and we did feel like we needed to check for bedbugs (no evidence of them!).

The shower in my room did not work and the front desk said nothing about the pool not being up and running. When it says breakfast included all there was was cereal, bread, and a waffle maker. We had two nights planned but left after one night because it wasn’t what we paid for.

It was an ok hotel stay. Quiet & close to area shopping & eats. The room looked poor- old, beat up chair, creaky bed & marred doors where mirrors had been taken down. Water in sink blasted out. No kleenex in the room either. No ice at vending & breakfast was minimal with dessert plates to put your food on - plus only a roll of school paper towels - no napkins. Worse Ramada I've ever stayed.

The process of checking in was efficient and effortless. Upon arrival to my room, i noticed there was mold in the bathtub and a roach came from the sink drain. I had a hold on my card, so i was unable to just check out and be able to check into another hotel due to these issues. I notified the staff and they said housekeeping would take care of it while i was away running errands. I came back to the room and there were no bugs, but there was still mold in the tub, untouched. So, being the clean person that i am, i sprayed it down with bleach and let it sit for a while to resolve that issue. Over the course of my stay other issues arrived, which is understandable, but the lack of communication and accountable between the staff was what drew the line for me. The guest dryer was broken and i was told by the male staff member that they would dry my clothes in the staff laundry room for the inconvenience. When i came to the front desk for the next shift, they had no idea what the male staff was talking about, so i ended up having to go to a laundry mat. There were several nights/days in which the hot water in the room was not working. I notified staff and the issue was resolved after a few days. I work long shifts and to come to my room with no hot water to shower was a huge inconvenience. On the day of check out, i asked for a late check out to bridge the gap between the check in time for the hotel that i transferred to. I would not return to this hotel due to the inconvenience.

I regret to say that my stay here has been a huge disappointment, and it seems the negative reviews were spot on. I initially reserved two rooms for my two teenage boys and another for myself and my high-maintenance 2-year-old. My goal was to ensure my boys are comfortable and can rest before their basketball tournament tomorrow, but it seems the staff had different plans.Upon check-in, the lady seemed fully aware that she was giving me only one room. I had specifically booked two twin bunk bed rooms for my boys and a separate room for myself and the baby, connected by a middle door for easy access. Instead, we were forced to squeeze into one room. Fortunately, the king-sized bed room had a pull-out couch, but the bedding was old and uncomfortable. I had to pile on three comforters just to make it bearable. The other room with the bunk beds was in terrible shape. As soon as we opened the door, it was clear it hadn’t been cleaned properly for months. The sheets were used and visibly dirty. It reeked of dust, and the old furniture was nearly rotting. To make matters worse, the room’s garage contained five cans of Coca-Cola, indicating it hadn’t been cleaned after the previous occupants. Adding to the discomfort, the air conditioning in the bunk bed room was broken. My second day at the hotel no hot water still, I moved rooms due to hotel staff stating that the side of the building my room was on didnt have hot water.Hotel staff then moved me to the other side of the building which is room 329. No hot water in the second room. I notified staff. I'm homeless and my options are limited. The prices at the Ramada are cheap , but it isn't worth the stay

I loved the desk staff. They were so helpful. My flight was delayed and I had a week long reservation that I didn't want to lose at t a great price. So I called when my flight was delayed and I wouldn't get there until the next day and she checked my in over the phone like I was there and then arrived the next day. It was awesome! It was a great stay and as an alone female, I felt very safe.

When we checked in we immediately noticed that there were no towels in the room. We requested towels and were told they would bring them up. We were in town for a soccer tournament so we went to the games, ate dinner and when we returned, still no towels. We went to the front desk and requested towels again and again were told they would bring them up. At 10pm still no towels so I again went to front desk and was told I needed to give them time. Never did get any towels that night. The next morning we requested towels and were given 1 bath towel and a bath mat - for 5 people! The others in our group had the same experience. The evening front desk person did not know how to handle the e fact that they did not have the room available that we had reserved and paid for. Not sure what they’re allowed to do but offering two rooms since they didn’t have the right room would have been a quick fix. She also didn’t have the authority to refund our money so we have to wait until Monday. Expedia customer care did a great job and was very responsive. We needed rebooking for two rooms. Cheaper too. Hotel is not well cared for or cleaned unfortunately. Convenient location for our road trip but would not return. Morning desk staff was very pleasant.

Our room's bed sheets had stains on it and the refrigerator and air conditioner made really loud noises throughout the night to the point we had to shut the heater off completely. They charged $105 dollars to my card upon check in for "incidentals" but when we checked out, they could not produce a print out of the charge for my records (I had already paid for the room before we arrived)

The neighborhood is rundown. The hallway and room carpets were filthy. The bathroom was clean but no garbage can in bathroom. The pillows were nice but small. The bed was okay. The breakfast consisted of a pancake machine, toast, 2 types of cereal, and juice. Bottom line, you get what you pay for. For future guests there is NO pool or hot tub.

The room itself was adequate and it was in a good location for me near some good restaurants. However the common areas of the property were poorly kept up. The pool was completely closed and from peering into that room, it appeared to have been vacated quite some time ago. Similarly the exercise room was completely closed. At breakfast I had a good Belgian waffle but the other food options were limited despite lots of space available. It didn't help that the juice machine was broken, leaving only coffee and milk available to drink. Even the 3rd floor ice machine sat behind a door that was locked. During check-in the employees were friendly but it took a long time because they had lots of problems with the front desk computers. My overall impression is that this may have been a good hotel years ago but at some point Ramada got cheap and decided to cut out spending on all common area elements. Luckily I only stayed here one night so it spoil my trip that much. If you are in town multiple nights, spend the extra money for something better.

Everything amenity wise was out of order for god knows how long. And it was just altogether so filthy and run down we were uncomfortable. We only went there to sleep and that’s it. I actually felt guilt about booking this hotel and having to bring my poor son there. My sheets had several large yellow stains on them, and housekeeping did not come til our final night there. The elevator is an accident waiting to happen. At least Kim, the front staff, was kind and understanding. Besides that, we were quite affronted by everything there. Lastly, there is lots of unsavory business happening around the area, if you have kids please please do not come here.

Everything with the hotel was excellent. It’s just sad that the property is older. Everything worked, comfy bed, super hot water. It just would be wonderful if the hotel could be remodeled. I knew nothing of the area, but it was safe and very quiet when I was there.

This hotel was nothing what the pictures online advertised. The room we were placed in had a mirror ripped off the door, the bathroom was dingy and dirty. There were no amenities for the bathroom like soap to wash my hands. There was only one garbage can for the whole room. There were long black hairs inside my microwave. For how dirty and outdated as the room was, it’s ridiculous they are so highly priced ($35) for pet fee when the room was as disgusting as it was. The pool was out of service. The fridge barely kept my leftover dinner cold. I felt unsafe to walk my dog with how many people are allowed to just camp out in their cars all night in the parking lot. I felt like there was a drug deal going on every time I stepped foot outside. And when I walked my dog, there was trash all over the yard. Not to mention broken glass from someone’s car window all over the parking lot. My dog was grabbing everything from socks, to garbage, dirty clothes, someone’s phone.. the list could go on. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

This hotel was nothing what the pictures online advertised. The room we were placed in had a mirror ripped off the door, the bathroom was dingy and dirty. There were no amenities for the bathroom like soap to wash my hands. There was only one garbage can for the whole room. There were long black hairs inside my microwave. For how dirty and outdated as the room was, it’s ridiculous they are so highly priced ($35) for pet fee when the room was as disgusting as it was. The pool was out of service. The fridge barely kept my leftover dinner cold. I felt unsafe to walk my dog with how many people are allowed to just camp out in their cars all night in the parking lot. I felt like there was a drug deal going on every time I stepped foot outside. And when I walked my dog, there was trash all over the yard. Not to mention broken glass from someone’s car window all over the parking lot. My dog was grabbing everything from socks, to garbage, dirty clothes, someone’s phone.. the list could go on. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

Only thing I was not happy about was the breakfast pancake machine and juice machine did not work only had cold cereal and a couple of pieces of bread that looked like they were there for a long time

For $60/night we got a clean, quiet and comfortable room which was the most important thing for us. But the property is dated and a bit run down. The free continental breakfast was embarrassing….only bread, waffle mix and stale cereal. I was at least expecting fruit and oatmeal and maybe a few other things so that was disappointing.

The room carpet was dirty and stained. The couch looked like it was in a frat house for 10 years. Their complimentary breakfast was toast or corn flakes. The pool was empty and they said it hasn’t been in use for awhile, even though they list it and have pictures of it on their website. The grounds was less desired. Certainly not a “Ramada Hotel” standard in all aspects. I would have changed hotels but I had enough going on since I was in Bettendorf for my fathers passing.

We were charged more money because I brought two children instead of one. There was no sugar, or butter and nothing at complimentary breakfast except self made waffles thats it. The pool and hot tub were both out of order with no water in them, and bathrooms were dirty on arrival. No iron in room and they wouldn't bring one to the room. This was a nightmare my children were extremely disappointed and so was I.

The hotel was quite dated and in need of a lot of renovation. Wallpaper was peeling and honestly if it was early in the night, I probably would’ve just booked another hotel room and eat the cost. But I checked in late and I just slept and left as early as I could. When I checked in, I had initially booked a king bed and the front desk told me that all the king bedrooms were taken, and that I would need to stay in a double queen, bed and that I would have to pay extra to make up the cost difference. I made a big stink about it and they relented, but only after a lot of resistance. All in all, I would never stay here again.

I wish you could put 0 or negative points. This place is outlandishly awful. I got there and saw it was awful looking and hasn't been updated since the 70's and I think the sheet are still from then. But I literally was leaving by 8 a.m. and I got there around 9:30 p.m., so thought I could handle it. But, as soon as I got to the room I smelled a smell outside the room that smelled like cats, but thought I was crazy. I decided maybe it was awful cleaning supplies. My dog and I go in the room and her hair stands up on her back and I am immediately wondering what is this awful smell. Then I start feeling like scratchy throat and then i am walking around room looking at how old everything was and looked like furniture was very used and sheets looked dingy although I never touched the bed, I was afraid. I then started coughing and was having a hard time breathing and the smell of cats was so strong. I finally got scared as I am allergic to cats. I go the the front desk nicely tell the man I have to leave I may go to doctor or get benadryl. He said oh yes that room did have cats and he said he couldn't give me a credit because he needed managment approval, but he wrote notes and he would tell his manager and gave me a phone number. I called ever since and no one gives me a manager and they are rude. I then went thru hotels.com and the to get a refund and they can't reach manager and they actually told me that the staff was rude. This is the worse experience I every had,

This Ramada is HORRIBLE!! The whole first floor smells like sewage, and a moldy, damp basement smell that takes your breath away. I checked in my room on the first floor and it smelled like sewage. The whole hallway smells like a moldy wet basement. The bed had broken springs and was horrible. Toilet didn’t even work, and it was dirty. The second room they gave me was dirty, smelled moldy, and the AC/Heater didn’t work. The third room they gave me smelled moldy and wasn’t very clean, and was on the first floor again. I asked why can’t you give me a room on the second floor, or third floor? The receptionist replied “that the majority of the rooms in the upper floors are inoperable, and the owner, she never fixes anything around here.” And to top it off, it rained all night into the morning and the parking lot had a lake in the middle of it because there are no drains in the parking lot. So after not hardly sleeping because of room conditions, I had to walk through water past my ankles to get to my vehicle. I had a second night booked and couldn’t even stay a second night. When I checked out I politely complained about everything that happened and cancelled my stay for the second night, and of course the owner wouldn’t reimburse me for the second night. I took the loss and stayed somewhere else.
