Located partially in a historical estate, some hallways are like a museum. Rooms are very spacious and clean, but I really hate floor carpet in any hotel. Afternoon tea and cake is a lovely touch, and dinner in one of the restaurants was delicious. Lovely garden as well.

8:15 pm I received a call from the front desk and I replied we would have been there by 8:45. Upon our arrival at 8:45 we were asked if we wished to have dinner at the hotel. We replied affirmatively and we were told rather abruptly to hurry up because the kitchen was about to close and to go immediately to the restaurant area without even going in our room… the waiter and the rest of the staff were very polite and absolutely amazing was the young Indian lady that was there for breakfast. Unfortunately the lady, probably the owner, that was at the reception was rude beyond words.
