Rooms are nice clean spacious great having the pub for food then only down side was having to walk thru the smoking area for staff and Visitors to get to the restaurant area just not nice as a non smoker.

Always stay here. Over the years I've been using the Worlds End. The quality of service, staff, meals and accommodation has been consistently high. If I had a grumble, the WiFi is poor in the accommodation area. I recommend.

Excellent value stay, much better than one of the bigger chains at this price point. The rooms were spacious and clean, our only frustrations were the car park flood lights which shone into the bedroom through the night, and then the early morning food delivery that was unloaded just outside the bedrooms. But I think we were just unlucky on both. The staff were really friendly and the breakfast included in our rate was first class. Will definitely stay again

The barman was very friendly & hospitable. The room comfortable but pillows rock hard & unconfortable. The furniture in the upper bar area was ripped & torn and meals rather over priced (£20 for a beefburger). We booked the hotel attend a 25th Wedding Aniversary & on our return at 10.45pm expecting to get a nightcap drink the bar and reception were locked & in darkness. The main entrance was padlocked shut & a fire hazard. There were two staff members we asked to see if we could obtain a drink to which we received a resounding no. The hotel was full with many other guests attending the same event returning to no open bar. In the morning we raised the issues with the receptionist who just said we close the bar if theres no one in. A bit of nous should tell that if the hotels full people would be returning. Not a good experience

It was not made clear on booking that the restaurant and bar were closed from 5pm on Sundays, I was told this wonderful news on check-in after a long drive, I was also very disappointed with this as we were meeting up with other family members for a evening meal and we had all chose to book the Hotel thinking there was resaurant. Please make sure this is clearly stated on your site in future. none of us felt like driving that evening.

Hotel and room were fine for a overnight stay. Room was clean and was in een adjacant building. The corridor in between could have a proper clean though. THe partition in the carpark is too high for low hanging cars as well as there are many holes in the road surface of the carpark ain (first impression upon arriving) Service in the restaurant was friendly. Breakfast was good.

Great hotel. It was a shame that we had to leave the bar area by 11pm. We had just purchased a drink and would have liked to sit for longer. Other than this the hotel was great.

Hairs on the bathroom floor and ill-fitting toilet seat. No flannels. Not enough choice of in-room drink facilities. Some of the dining room staff seemed inexperienced and made mistakes on order. Food took more than an hour, although the manager did get us complementary drinks. No food served for Sunday dinner, strange! Just needs a bit more thought.

We stayed to visit family who live locally, so spent very little time at the Hotel , just to sleep really. Check in was good, the young woman was efficient and helpful, and we were lucky to be able to check in early, thanks to the Housekeeper telling her it was ready. Room was comfortable, reasonably spacious, tea tray , nice bathroom etc as you'd expect, and all was spotlessly clean. We didn't use the bar or restaurant, but all areas looked very comfortable and tasteful. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely hotel. Room temperature a little hard to maintain. But most frustrating thing about stay was the bright green emergency lighting in the bedrooms and large gap under door, might as well have left the lights on all night! Really hard to sleep.

Bedrooms were in the building next to the kitchen and not connected which isn't a problem. One side of the building faces the road and the windows let a fair deal of road noise in but the road was quiet enough in the evening. nice enough

Room was clean but the general.feel of the room was that it needs some renovation. The rooms have generally been the same since i first used the hotel nearly 10 years ago. The matress was awful and i struggled to sleep...and the television is so small (and old) its hard to see it.....tv reception is also poor.

As always the staff are helpful and welcoming. The good sized rooms are always clean. This time the WiFi was poor cutting out occasionally. The restaurant is comfortable with well spaced tables. The evening meals are always well cooked as is breakfast. I'll be back 😁

We stayed overnight for a nearby wedding and thought the room was good value. The room was clean and nicely presented. We did not have breakfast as we had opted for room only but the dining area looked very pleasant. The only downside was that sound insulation is not great from the room into the corridor, not helped by bedroom doors that shut loudly.

Staff are superb but what completely ruins this place is that you can hear EVERYTHING the next room is up to. Initially we asked to move rooms as we could here the gent nextdoor on his phone, he just had a loud voice. When we moved rooms it was just the same. I'm a deep sleeper yet was still woken several times. Even the sound of the kettle nextdoor was clear.

Room and food were excellent, a screwed up food order was profusely apologized for and the meal once was free of charge. A very professional way of dealing with a problem so 10/10 to the staff for taking ownership of a mistake.

They double booked us and had no where for us to stay. They were unhelpful, didnt even offer us a drink after a long journey on a hot day, instead watched as we purchased one ourselves, while they faffed around. Kept repeating that this hasn't happened before, which is not useful at all. I asked to speak to the owner but i was refused. I had to find my own alternative accomodation and im still waiting for my refund and compensation to cover the cost of the additional room i had to book.

Regular visitor. Always clean, friendly staff, lovely rooms and great food. Only minor criticism would be that there is typically only one staff member on breakfast/check-out which can mean a few minutes waiting, but other than that, an excellent place to stay !

Stayed at the worlds end quite a few times now for work. Always relaxed when I stay. Food is lovely and accommodation good. The only thing I found this time that disappointed me was the lack of service when checking out. I waited at reception for at least 10-15 mins for someone to appear. Stayed at the worlds end quite a few times now for work. Always relaxed when I stay. Food is lovely and accommodation good. The only thing I found this time that disappointed me was the lack of service when checking out. I waited at reception for at least 10-15 mins for someone to appear. Breakfast was £14.95 regardless of whether you just wanted a crossiant or eggs on toast (which was on the menu). Even though there was a large group of us there was no negotiation on this so we went to a Green King pub up the road both days (only 8.95 per head). On the second day (Sunday) the water was cold between about 8:30 and 9. I told reception at 9:30 and the manager suggested everything was fine, even asking the handyman what his room was like. However, my mum then came down and told me her water was also cold as was my sisters and my daughters, all in different locations in the hotel. No compensation was offered and to make matters worse the manage went off to the rooms and checked the water (9:36 by this point) and said the water was fine in two of the rooms, suggesting we were either imaging it or lying (clearly it's actually a case of the system not coping at peak times). Needs training in customer service IMHO.

Bedrooms were in the building next to the kitchen and not connected which isn't a problem. One side of the building faces the road and the windows let a fair deal of road noise in but the road was quiet enough in the evening. nice enough

I liked it all. Lovely room. Quiet area. It's in a really nice location not far from town. Nicely kept gardens. The restaurant is really nice. The staff are all friendly and helpful.

I always use this location when attending a business meeting at Earls Barton. The location meets my needs food is always good and even though on a main road is quiet. Hope to see you all again on my return visit August. Hopefully I will press the right booking button and include breakfast, which I paid for on the day and as normal was lovely

Beautiful place. Grest location near the town but with a very country feel too. Fantastic food, nice rooms, lovely bar so really nice environment all round.

Room ok ,maybe carpet and beds next replacing (old) No hot water ,sink and shower cold water ,you could never have a bath . It was a first for me, breakfast, on the menu my wife asked for porridge and then a cooked breakfast to be advised she can only have one .Don't understand you can have cereal then hot breakfast. Otherwise nice stay , bar good , food good and staff friendly

Always stay here. Over the years I've been using the Worlds End. The quality of service, staff, meals and accommodation has been consistently high. If I had a grumble, the WiFi is poor in the accommodation area. I recommend.

The barman was very friendly & hospitable. The room comfortable but pillows rock hard & unconfortable. The furniture in the upper bar area was ripped & torn and meals rather over priced (£20 for a beefburger). We booked the hotel attend a 25th Wedding Aniversary & on our return at 10.45pm expecting to get a nightcap drink the bar and reception were locked & in darkness. The main entrance was padlocked shut & a fire hazard. There were two staff members we asked to see if we could obtain a drink to which we received a resounding no. The hotel was full with many other guests attending the same event returning to no open bar. In the morning we raised the issues with the receptionist who just said we close the bar if theres no one in. A bit of nous should tell that if the hotels full people would be returning. Not a good experience

Everything was ok. Breakfast really let us down on extras like selection on the buffet with green bananas and a couple of apples being the fresh fruit. But mostly the presentation of the cooked breakfast, the plain cheap bread used for toast and the lack of anything extra meant the breakfast was a let down. Dinner looked ok but we didn’t eat there The whole places closes early during the week - all shut up by 9pm with a separate entrance for rooms - so our colleagues who arrived late couldn’t even get a drink. The bathrooms were a bit grubby - clean but not deep cleaned. The beds weren’t very comfortable, just ok - but the decor was nice. Overall it was ok. Not expensive, and you get what you pay for. Pleasant enough and a convenient location with quite a lot of parking.

It opened wide onto the car park which could be dangerous.. Apart from those 2 observations, we enjoyed our dinner and stay at The Worlds End Hotel in Northampton.
