There is NO bar. They have 2 seats that you can get a drink at. It's attached to the check in desk. They alcohol choice limited and mainly Hyatt brand. No restaurant in walking distance. Choose the other Hyatt .5 miles and multiple restaurants and bar/restaurants. The lady checking in at same time also disappointed. She order some frozen chicken tenders. Please remove you have a bar.

The pool has been down for months and that was not noted on the property listing. The only reason we were staying at a hotel was for the pool. This was a staycation during my kids spring break. Very disappointing!

Hotel is like any other Hyatt Place, they all seem carbon copies which is not a bad thing and we stay at them often. This one had issues with internet on three separate days, power going out, fire alarm going off, one of two elevators out of service, all in the space of 14 days. Pool was out of service for the entire stay. Strange for a hotel that looks to have been fairly recently renovated. Maybe just bad luck on our part or they need to work on maintenance.

Overall a good stay but on the pricey-side. Pool was closed for "maintenance" and has been closed for 2 years, so that was disappointing. Good complimentary breakfast. Nice room, good size, comfy bed. The bathroom, just the toilet and shower, the sink was outside the bathroom, was small but the shower was nice. Free wifi with no log in. Staff we nice. No big compliments and enjoyed the stay.

Overall its a nice hotel, however the pool was down for maintenance for what seems quite a while. I asked when it would be fixed sounded like not time soon. We picked this hotel for breakfast and a pool. Now have 3 kids who couldnt swim. This should of been communicated in some way.

Nice property, convenient to Woodfield Mall. Booked this hotel so our grandkids could use the indoor swimming pool, only to find out that it was closed for repair. This information should be available online when someone is booking a room.

The room was not clean, sticky soda rings on the table, desk and counter. The mirror for the restroom sink was missing. Guessing it broke and didn't get replaced. The night (9pm) receptionist spends more time on the phone with someone than actually working. You have to walk up to her and get her attention because she is distracted on a video chat.

The property dirty, upon arrival. We tried moving our reservation but couldn't. Our beds had dog hair in them. When we asked for them to be turned down and linen changed the gentlemen said he couldn't because he was the only one in the facility. We ended up moving rooms because of mold & mildew. Staff was friendly but i want my money back i drove 256 miles to sleep in a chair.

I booked this based off expedia reviews, I was extremely surprised when I got to my room. Not very clean, outdated. Blood stain on the floor next to the bed, earrings on the floor, a used straw in the sink. I’m glad I only stayed one night and it was very late, otherwise I would have left.

This property has a lot of potential but i guess it all has to come down to management the rep that checked me in her name was KAM super nice young lady amd seemed very hardworking. Here is my introduction to this property it has a small pond right in front if it which should have been clened up now that pandemic is over, how serene would it have been to look down from above and especially bc there's nothing surrounding this property besides Ikea. When you walk into the property there are two half mooned chairs that have covers on them. If these chais are in such mad shaped i suggest have them replaced. Now main part of my stay was the room we have always stayed at Hyatt place this is the first time i felt rooms were clostrofobic instead of having two queen beds we had two twin beds and the sofa couch bed which was broken. Bathroom was so small that sink was outside. This was definitely an archeological fault. i would like the management to take walk up to 621 room and the bathroom to understand what i am talking about. Will we be staying with Hyatt place absolutely but I will make sure nothing like this happens to me again. The only reason i did not do anything thoughout my stay was bc my parents were with me. And it would have sounded pretty bad when i soeak so highly of Hyatt place. Pool was very nicely put and cleaned. Breakfast was very nice and had a good variety.

Very nice desk person at checkin. Big king rooms with seating area and desk area that was very nice. Everything worked well except the WiFi which was nonfunctional the 2 days we were there. The bed was comfy. The room was quiet. The shower was very good. The bathroom layout was such that the toilet was in a cramped area which was a bit weird. Sizeable refridgerator, but no microwave. Plenty of storage places. Limited number of open plugs.

IT WAS NOISY, WE HEARD THE VEHICLES RACING ON THE INTERSTATE ALL NIGHT, THE AIR IN THE ROOM WAS VERY DRY & THE AIR CONDITIONER NOISY. WE ONLY SAW A WORKER WHEN WE CHECKED IN. WE WILL NOT STAY THERE AGAIN.

It was a nice place to stay. The room had some wear and tear on it but it’s not brand new so expected. The one negative was that the thermostat would not let us go lower than 69 degrees so it made for a pretty warm night for sleeping. Breakfast was very good. Better than expected.

Unfortunately, when I booked this room, I thought a double meant a queen size bed, but turns out a double is smaller than a queen bed. I spoke to someone at the front desk and they informed me that this particular location doesn’t have any queen beds. Only doubles, which kinda looks like a full-size bed and king size beds. I had no idea and I mentioned this to the front desk and they said if I would had booked through Hyatt, I would have received more description of the bed size and I replied with yes, but I would’ve had to pay double. So I ended up having to book another room because the beds were just way too small from my family. Be mindful of this .

King rooms had plenty of space with a nice desk, a wet bar type area with coffee maker and fridge and a little sink. The sitting area was big enough to sit and visit with 5 of us, and big enough to make a pile of gifts for Christmas morning. Big TV with standard cable channels. My experience was not pleasant and the reservation was not a full-filled purchased which required a king size bed upon arrival we were informed that are reservation was given to someone else without any notification to me and no other options I was force to stay in the hotel that did not meet my accommodations . After entering the room it was noticed that the toilet was not working properly and I had to put my hand in the toilet water to flush otherwise waste with have been sitting in the toilet all night. With all the frustration and disgust I went downstairs to speak to the front desk and they offered to provide another unaccomadating room so I informed them I need to speak with my wife since we had already settled in the room before making the choice of moving to different room, she then indicated to contact her via phone if I wanted to switch rooms. In attempt to contact the front desk the phone was out of order leaving me no choice but to pack our things and go downstairs to get a different room. The reason for choosing the Hyatt was the reputation and quality which I believed I would have received Insult to injury at check out while informing the front desk of the misfortuned incident her customer service was less than poor she found it necessary to dismissive of the situation and therefore I find it necessary to inform corporate operations of the dissatisfaction received. I was having horrible asthmatic reaction to other guests dogs and the management went out of their way to accommodate my medical condition, I was so impressed and happy with how professional and accommodating they were. Bravo! Top notch service!

This is the third year in a row that we have taken our high school cheer team to back to back competitions in the area. This year we needed to leave the hotel 15 minutes before breakfast was scheduled to start. The hotel manager made arrangements for breakfast to start an hour earlier to accomodate our group!! The staff, rooms, lobby, and breakfast were all amazing. We will stay again next year!!

We come to this Hotel twice and sometimes three times a year for the last 4 years. Every time our experience was wonderful except for this time. This time we encounter a really rude cleaner. We were there for two days and two nights, so on Sunday morning around 9am, we did not have clean towels so I step out to go get towels because the room phone was not working. As I step out the door, the cleaner was there cleaning the next room. I asked her for a few towels and she refused. She asked me why do I need towels? To take a shower. Am I leaving today? Yes. So why do I need to shower if I am leaving. I said it was none of her business. She rumble off and then came back to say they were too busy that I should know better to not take a shower if I was leaving. The confrontation was loud and people came out of their room to look. This was worst experience at this hotel.

We ended up at the Hyatt Place on a Friday night after having to leave our original hotel because of mold. I explained our situation to Ela at the front desk and asked about a "mold safe" room. She offered to let me look at rooms before finalizong the booking. The manager showed me a few rooms she thought would be best and let me choose. She even went amd re-scrubbed the bathroom while we checked in! They went above and beyond to make sure I had a safe, healthy night. The room was comfortable, clean, bright, the air smelled clean, and staff was amazing!

This was one of the worst hotel stays I’ve ever had, and I would never recommend it. The only staff who treated us with any respect were the cleaning crew — they were kind and professional. The front desk, on the other hand, was rude, argumentative, and made us feel unwelcome from the moment we arrived. As people of color, it was very clear that we were being treated differently than other guests. The tone, the lack of basic courtesy, and the overall attitude from the staff made it obvious. Great hotel overall, one of the best of the whole road trip. The area feels very safe, and the room was large and in very good condition. The only small problem was that the toilet was really load - if you flushed it in the night, you woke everybody up. Breakfast was also very good, with scrambled eggs, sausages, waffle maker etc. Woodfield mall is 10 minutes walking away - we went there several times. There are also several restaurants even closer by.

A very nice hotel with excellent staff. It was clean, comfortable and quiet. The location was excellent. The only complaint - and it's a minor one - is that coffee was only available during breakfast. We're late risers, so we weren't able to have any. When asked, a staff member seemed to make a special effort, but we stopped her as we were going out anyway.

The breakfast was included it was good. There is a machine where you can make your own waffles. I had a suite it was clean but there is no microwave it's only available on the first floor. I was on the 6th floor I can look outside the window and see my car the suite is a nice size.

The. Staff was the good thing. Ab the hotel. The location is great bc it near everything driving of walking. The Anne irises were awful. The fridge was broke. The tv is outdated not a smart tv. The usb drives are 20 years behind. The business computer was not user friendly. The breakfast looked great. And plenty of choices. The bed is cordoned off from the tv so you ha to sleep on couch to watch tv. The room. computer desk has no usb charging option. But great staff. So. That makes up for lack of microwave. Netflix fridge. USB. And business computing. .

I've stayed at this property many times due to the super convenient location. During this trip there were a few issues with my room. For some reason the water pressure in the shower was very low. I also had a couple lights that were flickering. They HVAC unit in the room was very loud when the air conditioning turned on so I had to turn just the fan on at night so that it didn't keep waking me up. My room was missing a full length mirror but I've had them in other rooms at the property. On the positive side, the parking is really easy and they do offer complimentary breakfast. The bed was also comfortable.
