Quality Inn Morgantown

We have enjoyed staying here a few times now. Safe place, and the restaurant nextdoor is convenient for when you don't have time to go searching. The pool was open this trip, and the kids loved it! Breakfast is fine--good options. The lobby is very nice!

The drive way/road leading to the entrance was very poor. Lots of potholes! The room was clean & spacious. Checkin/out was easy

Located up on a hill, with absolutely no view.... Hard to do! The drive up is extremely dangerous on a rainy night as there's no lights and guards rails, almost drive over a cliff. Room was good, nice pillows but hard mattress. Exit doors did not need key entry, so anyone could walk into the hotel whenever they want. Breakfast was ok, not very hot, but ok

Just a place to sleep. Common areas not real clean. Outside my room it was dirty at door. Tge room had a strong chemical/glue odor. The room was clean and the bathroom but the carpet felt damp. Parking lot and access road were terrible.

Staff was helpful. Entry road needs improvement.

Parking lot needs repaved

First impressions were not good, smelled musty as soon as we walked in, the road up to the hotel is in poor condition, room was musty smelling, AC filters needed cleaned, bathtub had the paint or something peeling off, carpet to the room was god awful, the cleanliness was good though, bathroom did look nice, no bed bugs or roaches, pool was great, clean, breakfast was great. The lobby was nice. 1 broken ice machine is kinda inconvenient. The stay was average, would come back for the breakfast. I paid 100$ a night. I just expected better for that price.

Hotel is 2 or so miles from anything. Has an attached bar/restaurant. We did not go so no insite on that. Hotel parking lot was run down. Our room was surface clean. Morgantown downtown areas seem fun and we went to a brew bar called the Apothicary, dog friendly place, good bar food and friendly staff and patrons made for a fun evening. I would have chosen a hotel closer to the action, but we need dog friendly and this hotel was.

Not a terrible stay. Room was clean and neat but dated and worn. Also, no elevator, so if you cannot do stairs, be sure to note this.

Not a clean hotel. The rooms were ok.

Very dirty, smelled of weed, cat hair all over the floor, cat food on the floor, tv didn't work, drain didn't work.

During check in the host was on his phone the entire time. When we went to our first room, it was not clean at all. There was mold in the tub and stain in the toilet. The room smelled musty and had an odor. I went back and made them switch out rooms, and the host still remained in his phone. The second room was cleaner but still not good.

Dirty ice machine. Dirty carpet. Dirty room. Would not recommend.

I have stayed here many times. Although not an upscale hotel, i never thought it was dirty until this time. My room, the hallways, the stairs were filthy. Also we received no housekerping service. Thin walls, i could hear everything from the room next door.

The staff were accommodating, but that\'s it. The Place was dirty, there were numerous "Stick Bugs" on thew walls in the entrance and hallway. When we got to our room, I had to eliminate several bugs that made their way into the room and were waiting for us. The comforter on the bed smelled. There was debris in the sick, like someone forgot to clean it. The rugs were severely worn and dirty. Even though it was a smoke free hotel, the place wreaked of Marijuana. The smell was awful. We checked out after the first night and requested a refund.

The first night I found a leech in my shower so that might be a cleaning or drainage issue but everything else was good.

Linens were dirty, there was a fingernail clipping on the counter, the shower did not look like it had been properly cleaned, the floor had not been mopped or swept, marks and smudges on the mirrors, heating vent was full of debris. Not clean at all. Very disappointed.

Our room smelled of stale cigarette smoke and the carpet was dirty. The room and bathroom were not cleaned. There was old food on the carpet in the room. The toilet bowl was dirty and gross. The wall around the outside of the shower had mold bubbling up through the torn paint. The hotel "ran out of" towels. It was nasty. The staff was nice but not really present. No one was at the front desk for check out so after waiting for a long time, a lot of guests just left their room keys.

Our room was very damp, it was clean and everything but the humidity level felt like we were sleeping outside. I think either the room had been wet, more than likely from the AC and never dried properly. We would stay there again if we could see our room first, and definitely not stay in the same room again. The breakfast etc was nice so no other complaints, and I'm sure the issue could be remedied quickly.

We, and another couple, waited 7-10 minutes for a staff member to show up to desk. Then check-in took long, as “system was slow”. Room is clean, safe and relatively quiet which is what we needed en route. Oops, last resident left food in refrigerator and staff didn’t check and throw away

Room was average. The AC was not the greatest. The road to get to it wasn’t even a road. The hotel is out of date and needs to be updated.

The thin walls and celings. When the room next door turns on and off the shower multiple times in a half hour, there was a thud. When the upstairs stomps around from 3am to 4am, no sleep. Needless to say I didn't get much sleep. Breakfast options for drinks are coffee, tea or hot cocoa. No water, milk or juices. You had to purchase those. These places that are advertising as hotels are basically motels at the hotel rates.

The room was comfortable, clean and roomy.

Nice room

Bed was suitable. Breakfast was better than most. Decent view of the surroundig greenery from all angles. The only drawback (if there was one) was that if you were on the ground floor (as I was), the floor / ceiling of the room above your own is thin, meaning that the normal walking aroiund of that room's occupents resonates like stomping to the room ujnderneath. Overall, better than average.

This place was very nice and fresh. Finally a motel that has owners that invest in their property. Definately on my list of places to return to. One of my biggest peves in motels is the internet, this place gets an A+

Bed was uncomfortable, pillows were cheap, hotel was very loud and we could hear everything going on above us. Thankfully only there for one night.

I booked the room through Expedia. When I arrived to check in I was turned away because I’m not 21. At no point was I asked my age. I was 5 hours from home and had no room. When I asked for a refund I was denied because policy said I had to cancel before check in time. I couldn’t do that because I arrived at check in time and was turned away. They essentially stole from me.

Huge shout to the staff at this hotel. My daughter and I needed a room change and they accommodated us - they went above and beyond. Clean hotel- no funky smells. I will aways make an effort to stay at Quality Inn when I am in Morgantown for swim meets.

We booked hotel online and I couldn’t cancel it. We did not know that our room was on second floor and no elevator. We are 70 and 75 years old with luggage and a puppy. We changed room and got a room on main floor. No bathroom plug; toilet holder broken. The sheer curtains had two large cigarette burns. Not even one chair in room. We asked for a chair. She said it doesn’t come with a chair. I said yes it does. There’s a desk in room which means an office chair would go with it. She said oh yeah I’ll get u one. I asked for a second chair. She said no. I said your hotel is half full if that. She said I have to save the chairs for last minute bookings. The front desk person was not very nice when we checked in. She didn’t want to be there it was Christmas Eve. That was our impression. She was not at front desk but out smoking when we checked in. I went to front desk a second time. She was out smoking again. I used front entrance to take puppy outside a third time. She was smoking again with staff members at the outside pool area. Very smoky at front desk. The hotel is located on a steep hill and driveway is bumpy. Thank goodness it wasn’t snowing. Cigarette butts all over the place outside. I was so disappointed with the whole experience. If I hadn’t pre-booked without cancellation I would have cancelled the reservation and found another hotel. I will not pre-book again. We travel every year to Florida. Snowbirds. Breakfast was dry and old. Sausages and bagels especially.

Service at the desk is professional, courteous, very welcoming.

Overall this place is a dump. Outside is pretty unkempt with all the trash cans overflowing. Inside smells like smoke. Staff isn’t great either. I waited for about a half an hour (along with two other guests trying to address other issues) before I could check in. Front desk employee was nowhere in sight.

The front desk clerk is excellent.

The staff is just not very friendly and it's kinda grimy but it works if you need a cheap stay right outside of Morgantown

Room was clean, front desk staff were friendly, the free breakfast in the morning was suitable and had a lot to offer for the value. Overall I would stay again!

Staff very helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was great!

Had a problem with the deadbolt on the room door, but the front desk staff was immediately helpful. Very satisfied with my stay.

Convenient location.

Just stayed overnight. It served its purpose. Definitely older hotel and horrible hill to drive up. If I was staying for multiple days I would choose another hotel.

Lovely little place. Had a nice free breakfast by the fireplace. A great price and easy 6 min into Morgantown center.

The hotel was very nice but the road and parking lot was horrible. I felt like my car was going to fall apart and go into a ditch.

Stayed for one overnight for college move in. Hotel was in a good location. Clean and breakfast was good. Property a little outdated. Restaurant next door closed at 9 pm. Check in was fast and staff was courteous.

The hotel overall was ok, the mouse droppings in the stairwell that everyone used to get to the second floor were gross. Morning breakfast wasn’t keep full, biscuits, eggs, and gravy were all empty at 8:30 in the morning. Then the water went out…we stayed there for a family wedding and ended up washing up with cold bottled water. So could have been better.

Very nice stay. The breakfast was good but could have had more variety. Ran out of biscuits for the gravy on Saturday. It would have been nice to have had more grab and go items. The hotel was convenient to our destinations in the area and was quiet at night. Overall an enjoyable stay.

Everything looked old, and this place definitely needs carpet change. Not many choices for breakfast.

Restaurant on property was reasonably price and food was excellent
