Great Wolf Lodge Grand Mound

Parking is charged now. Be aware. The park closes really early. There is limited things to do for the kids after it closes who are older than 10. Buffet isn't great. Restaurant food was good. It's a very expensive vacation for what you get. However everyone is very nice. And it's pretty clean.

The elevators are not on par with the rest of the experience

Nicely done remodel. Kids had a blast. Bummer that the property charges $19/day now.

I suppose I should begin by saying I booked my family 2 nights at the Great Wolf Lodge in WA but we left bright and early on the morning after our first night - even though I knew there was no chance of a refund for the second night. The main areas were all terribly crowded. The waterpark was even worse! It seems there is no limit to the number of people the resort will allow in on any give day. We’re talking hundreds and hundreds of people - certainly nothing like the pictures. No need to remind anyone not to run, we could hardly even walk around! No open chairs, long waits for the slides, standing room only in the pool, etc. Be sure to note that parking is not included with your hotel room cost. That’s extra (but required of course because what else will you do?). We did like our room, though! My kids liked the bunk bed situation and everything was clean. The Lodge had complimentary shampoo/body wash/lotion, and also coffee packets. We utilized the small refrigerator for a couple drinks. The bedding on the bunk beds was much too small, though, so maybe pack sleeping bags. Shout out to the front desk team who were kind and knowledgeable. They answered my questions and offered upgrades (which we didn’t want, but good job asking!). Overall, we will not return. Perhaps the overcrowded environment is some people’s idea of a good time, but not ours.

The check-in was longer than usual and had a line out the door, but was due to school being closed state-wide that wasn't planned for with staffing. The wavepool kind of made us nauseas due to people being careless and their little ones pooping in the pool. Even though there are signs and swim diapers, is the parents fault not the kid.

Restaurant is being remodeled, so long lines and waits for food at other dining options.

The $40 million renovations are complete but the elevators are still terrible. You also have to pay $15+tax for self parking.

Still under renovation but huge improvement in cleanliness! The old dingy carpets are gone and replaced by new, clean lvps. The rooms now have a more modern look but still has that GWL feel that we all know and love! They completely changed the magiquest game and clans so I do kind of miss the old, familiar game but I'm open to the new change and my kids still enjoyed playing it.

Everything was good, room was clean, except shower and changing area, which was gross. I wish they had made improvements and made a bigger changing area that is dry, clean and carpeted.

Great time. Facility is just a little weathered and found hand prints and spills still on windows and coffee tables next morning. Elevators look real tired

Room was spotless and updated, hallways need work. Water park water disgusting smell and color though kiddos loved it! Magi search incredibly long but kuds loved ut. Magi market woman with glasses on was amazing, helpful, kind and efficient! She deserves a bonus!

Check in took over an hour, the line was out the door. The room had hundreds of fruit flies and was not clean.

Rooms are good. Aquapark is old and dirty.

Great place for the kids. The only things that was not expected is the parking charges, and also the room was not super clean. The sheets, bedding and room itself were not clean and I had to request clean sheets everyday.

The facility is more impressive than I expected, of the Disneyland variety with impressive attention to detail and grand scale. Upon arrival, our reservation could not be found due to it being made through Expedia and not direct through the facility. The staff was nice but that was alarming though ultimately resolved. Our room was ready right at the 4:00 deadline though we attempted to check in earlier (as does EVERYONE else so don't plan on it). Our room was nice but not well cleaned. The faucet handles still had toothpaste gunk from previous guests that came off easily for me with a tissue so was just overlooked. There was also hair in all the corners of the room. I think the staff must get hit with a major crunch to turn over rooms quickly and don't have time to adequately clean. Throughout our stay I was most impressed by the staff being warm, kind, and positive after dealing with kids and families all day. I don't know where they find this many employees who take their jobs seriously and are gracious the whole time but it's certainly impressive in this small town.

Great wolf lodge is great for a 1-2 day stay, lots of activities for kids. Rooms have paper thin walls and kids running everywhere plus magic quest that sends kids all over the lodge = noisy rooms. Since the remodel, rooms are nice and clean feeling.

Rooms are bad, we have room for 6 people bathroom so small that it doesn't even have a sink. AC not working in the room you don't have a dresser to put your close. People are friendly and welcoming to you when you go on the water splash.

The bed was broken and squeaky. Couldn’t sleep the first night.We informed the front desk and they didn’t take care of it, just a small 50 dollars out of 1100 bills. This lodge is fun but it’s not worth the money. The parking is not included although it’s in middle of nowhere. I could understand pay parking if it was in middle of city. The building is so old with minimum maintenance inside the rooms. Just a one night stay would be more than enough

Rooms were big and clean. 2 beds and pull out couch was appreciated.

2nd time staying here in the Den suite. Spacious room and kids love the bunk beds. Endless fun at the water park and property for our 3 and 5 year olds.

This property on that big size, it had only two showers in the toilet area. No place for changing cloths. The hotel room had a bathtub and toilet, but the sink was in the room. Very inconvenient.

For how much we paid, I expected more. The rooms were a great size but you can hear everything outside.

The bathroom was very small, but the customer service was excellent. However, a 4 PM check-in time is not acceptable, even if access to the water park is available earlier. Additionally, the pillow was uncomfortable.

Everything was great except the beds were uncomfortable.

Brandi assisted me during check in, I got a call right when I was standing in line about my husbands brother passing. Brandi assisted me as best as she could and uograded us as well as gave my kids 2 free pizzas and 8 free ice creams! Her assistance was amazing, her customer service was beyond 100%.

Beautiful and organize facilities but the check-in process was painful. So much long time in line And prices are high But overall great experience and recommend place for a family

The staff was very accommodating. Answered all of our questions promptly. Sent someone very quickly to solve our issue with the tv. All of the staff was just very helpful and friendly.

Reception staff was awesome! They go above and beyond. Even the house keepers. Gd job.

Check-in took 85 minutes with a line halfway down the property, would love to see a more efficient check-in process

Overall great time. We did have check in issues. Chasing the kids around for over 2 hours while we waited on our room to be ready only to find out it was ready they just never texted me.

Security woke us at 3 am banging on our door. There was a noise complaint and they had the wrong room. A grunted apology was all we got after I made it obvious they had the wrong room. They asked my wife and I if we, “had a bunch of kids in our room.” Nope, just me, my wife and me. Thankfully, the kid’ll sleep through anything. People make mistakes and kids prank maybe, but you gotta make damn sure you got the right room before slamming on the door and shouting “security!” at 3 am in a family theme park hotel. It made a fun weekend stressful for us — sleeping well that night was essential for us as part of our stay.

They charged my credit card multiple times without me buying anything and they refuse to refund:( It was quite stressful

It was my first time at this property. I was there for 2 nights with my wife and 2 grandkids. We really liked the experience in general, but even more the responsiveness of the staff, especially the security team. We had an issue at the wave pool with another guest. My granddaughter lost her swimming googles in the pool and they were taken by a man that father of 2 young kids also in the pool. He gave the googles to his son. When my 11-year-old grandson asked him to return the googles, this man refused to do, arguing he bought them for his kids which clearly was a lie. So, it was very frustrating to see a grown up given such a terrible example to his kids (stealing from others). Instead of me having a direct confrontation, I raised the situation with your supervisor who called security (Brad). I explained the situation. "This is just a 5 dollars item, but that was not the point". Brad went to the pool and asked the man about the googles. He insisted they were his and pretty much dismissed Brad, arguing he bought them. Brad came back to me and said he was going to review the security cameras and if indeed they were taking by this irresponsable father, then he will get them back for us. We left the pool and went to our room. About 2 hours later we got a call from Brad. He said, "i got you googles returned" .. indeed, he really went the extra mile and was able to make a wrong a RIGHT! kudos to Brad!!! and to You!.. very impresive!!! this is what make companies excel!!

This is such a fun place for kids and families. We had a great time at the water park, the arcade, the Magi Adventure, and the Mine. So many fun things to do. Food was great with vegetarian options. Rooms are big and comfy. The hotel was clean and easy to access from I-5. Expect lots of kids for the holidays!

Good to stay for the water park and surrounding activities. Located in a good kind of isolated place so was fun. Gas station next to Hotel was convenient. Staff could be more customer friendly and proactive in providing services. The breakfast restaurant staff especially the chef went beyond and above to accommodate our vegetarian diet

The property is ok, the room servicing has to be requested which we didn't know. Elevators are overcrowded and very busy. Food onsite is poor and unhealthy. We all were sick for 3 days after we got home.

Food was way too expensive

This place is as you would expect considering 1,000s of kids come through every day. In general I thought the common areas were clean and the lobby is impressive. The rooms are bare bones, but do the trick with kids. The worst part of the hotel is the elevator situation, only one elevator bank for a huge tower and you’re always waiting a long time and our room was very far from it. My daughter loved the water park but we found it a little small and worn down compared to some others we’ve been to. If you have a napper, get a cabana, trust me! As many others have mentioned, the food isn’t good and neither is the service but we did enjoy the brewery just two minutes up the road. All in all, it was fine. We probably won’t be back, just a little too small and run down for the cost, but if you need a quick overnight for young kids, it’s perfectly fine.

Water park is the only fun part. Rooms and food options need improvement

The food options are catered towards kids and priced high. The rooms were clean and nice, bed was comfortable.

Samantha that checked us in was excellent. Food down by pool was very slow and took 35 minutes to finally get mustard restocked, other than that is has so far been great fun for my family of 12

Love how everything was right there in the hotel. We added the breakfast buffet to our stay and it was well worth it. Food was actually good. Skip the corn dogs, those were trash. Pizza was super good and decently priced. Wolf pack for the kids was a great deal. They were able to do the magi experience, which was cool. Build a bear which was a nice souvenir for the kids to take home. The candy cup was trash, not much to choose from but the kids were happy with it. The mining for rocks was a decent activity for the kids. Overall 7/10, a nice experience but going multiple times would probably be a waste of time and money unless you just stick to the water aspect of the trip. We went in February, so only indoor activities were open.
