We stayed in the quadruple room which has a single skylight for ventilation. The one in our room wouldn't stay open so we had to prop it open with a hanger. We stayed for 3 nights at the beginning of August 2026. My first mistake was assuming there was aircon. There is not. Because there is only a single point of ventilation AND it is on the ceiling there is zero draft / breeze / airflow. Two fans were provided but they barely did anything and were super loud so disturbed our sleep. If the "window" is open then you can't have the shutter down to block put the light so we were up very early each day. 1 fan broke on the second day and they brought 2 more for us. We ended up soaking towels and draping them over our bodies to cool down. Granted there was a heat wave but I think it would have been unbearable in normal summer heat. For us, it was just awful and really ruined our stay and time at Europa park. We went for a drive every evening to cool down. Reception is only 8am to midday so if you have any issues or questions outside of these hours, too bad. Breakfast is ok - the same things every day. Staff, when around, were lovely. I would stay again for half the money I paid and in cooler months. But I can honestly say, it was hell in summer and you should really think again before booking this room in summer.
