Baymont by Wyndham Lubbock

This was a great find especially for the money. The property is convenient. The room very clean, pet friendly, and quiet for its location. The check in was a bit of surprise wanting to post a deposit for "amenities". There were none at the property. The breakfast was hot, varied, and excellent. Did not have to have another meal that day. The staff was courteous and friendly. Will stay there again when in Lubbock.

The front office staff was not helpful, they did not explain anything about the amenities, WiFi or even the checkout time. The room was not; specifically the bathroom area that clumps of unknown hair. This is not a hotel that I would stay in again.

We did not eat breakfast at the hotel. There were holes in the our widow had been taped up because it had been broken. The floor was buckling. The curtains were torn and the beds were anything but comfortable. By the time breakfast came around we were ready for this experience to be done.

I reserved a King Suite. I was given a regular King room. I was told by the young man at the desk that they didn't have that kind of room. Iasked several times to clairfy his meaning. He just kept saying they didn't have that type of room. He told me I could check out and go someplace else or stay in the room he gave me. It was late and had been a long day, and I still had work to do. The bed was not comfortable and the desk chair was hard. I needed to do work from my room and participate in a zoom meeting the next morning. The room was not conducive for what I needed on this trip. I will never stay in this place again.
