Excellent stay. Only criticisms were that the food could have been a bit plainer and a water tap is required at the top of the beach steps .

We had the best time here - the location is unparalled, the communal spaces are huge and very comfortable, the staff are helpful and friendly, and the breakfast was great. Far and away the best thing for me was the access to the Health Club - the classes were excellent, the gym is amazing (treadmill overlooking the beach!), the indoor pool a great size for laps. The outdoor swimming pool and gardens were sensational too. (We had five days of great weather). The hotel restaurant was very good (we ate there one night) - our favourite was Jersey Crab Shack (fresh whole crab, or half a lobster) and Oyster Box was also great (both just in front of the hotel) Re the hotel: I had booked the last room available (56) so when we arrived and it was small with a view over the kitchens I was not surprised. But I did hope for a better bathroom - no separate shower (even though I do love a bath), and the washbasin was tiny with no shelf space at all. I happened to mention this, not really as a complaint, just an observation, to one of the people at the desk. My husband did too. We were offered a free upgrade for our last two nights to 108 (Portelet Suite) - well, we finished our stay in the height of luxury with two balconies and a great view over the beach. We were so grateful. We never go back to the same place twice but we will definitely come back here. Thank you to all for making it a great stay

Wonderful view of the beach from our sea view balcony. Room tastefully decorated and well appointed. Excellent breakfast provisions, all needs catered for. Very generous portions for dinner. Welcoming staff, especially in the bar and reception. Would stay again.

Wir reisten zu zweit und jeder hatte ein eigenes Zimmer. Mein Cousin hatte ein grosses, teures Doppelzimmer mit Balkon und Meersicht. Leider war die Sicht vom Balkon sehr eingeschränkt, da in der östlichsten Hotelecke und dem Dach der Hotelterrasse davor, was sehr, sehr schade war und wir so zu diesem Preis nicht erwartet haben. Mein Einzelzimmer mit Balkon und Meerblick hingegen war fantastisch. Ich genoss es sehr. Die Zimmer waren sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Tee-Kaffeestation wurde täglich aufgefüllt. Ich erhielt im Einzelzimmer allerdings nie koffeinfreien Kaffee, was schade war. Das Bett war sehr bequem. Das Bad war gross mit genügend Abstellfläche und tollen Pflegeprodukten. Ich war täglich im Innenpool schwimmen. Dieser war gut zu erreichen, sauber und warm. Angegliedert ist ein Dampfbad, Wirlpool, Spa und Fitnessstudio. Es hätte noch 2 Aussenpools. Der Strand ist über die Strasse gut zu erreichen. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr reichhaltig mit warmen und kalten Speisen. Wir assen Abends 2 Mal im Hotelrestaurant. Das Personal war ausgesprochen freundlich, die Speisen sehr gut. Der Service war etwas unorganisiert und konfus, wurde aber mit dem Charme und Freundlichkeit des Personals mehr als wettgemacht. St Brelades ist sehr touristisch und hat viele Restaurants. Wir waren zu Fuss und mit ÖV unterwegs. Es war ein super Aufenthalt und wir würden wieder buchen.

In all honesty there’s absolutely nothing negative we can say about this hotel. To start the position is perfect. Right next to as near a perfect beach as you can be. Good bus service to St H and beyond. Plenty of restaurants very close and a couple of pubs a short walk away. The room was immaculate, the cleaners were very efficient and always managed to turn it round by the time we’d had breakfast. Speaking of breakfast, a very wide range of well prepared and presented food catering for all diets. The outdoor and indoor pools were both clean and not cold. The steam room large and again very clean. As for the staff, can’t thank them enough, Stephen on the reception desk, Marcus and Leo at front of house for the restaurant, but the only reason we don’t mention more is purely we didn’t catch their names. Down to the very last person they were all fantastic. Would we go again? In a heartbeat!!
