Downtown Los Angeles Modern Apartments

We had a terrible and horrible experience. We booked for a 3 day stay last June 9-13,2026, ( temp averages 90-100) with my family including a 7 yo kid and a senior. The unit has no working AC. I informed the management and asked to send someone to check the AC. No reply.. sent messages again and demanded to give us another unit with working AC if he is not sending someone to check/fix the AC. With no AC working and high temperature on those days we barely can sleep and started to feel sick . We even opened our windows to get some air and one of has to stay awake making sure we are all safe. We want to go out as early as possible to get to a comfortable place like mall,restaurants and museum. Finally, after 2 days, someone came in and checked … accordingly the compressor is down and it will take few days to fix it since he needs to order a part. As soon as we learned this we vacate the unit and informed the management about the incident. With this very unfortunate but preventable experience I will definitely not to return or recommend this place.. awful experience due to poor communication with the staff.
