Very nice property. The staff is extremely helpful and courteous, and as an added bonus, they even have several german speaking guest relations employees. And the food is wonderful and very varied. The Breakfast and Dîner Buffets are extremely rich and savory. The Pool and Beach areas are great, and the rooms are beautifully appointed.

It took around 40mins to check in which was far too long. I was allocated the room I had booked and was only given the room upgrade when I pointed out this was part of the VIP Expedia access. Wir waren zum vierten Mal beim Kempinski Somabay innerhalb der letzten zehn Jahre. Wir finden es nach wie vor sehr gut, weil es zu den Gästehäusern gehört, die nicht mit der Zeit nachlassen, sondern immer noch besser werden. Angefangen vom housekeeping bis hin zum gesamten sevicepersonal im Restaurant, am Pool in der Rezeption und das Managment sind nach wie vor äußerst hilfsbereit, aufmerksam und sehr höflich, als auch entgegenkommend. Das Haus selbst scheint nicht zu altern! Es macht heute, wie vor zehn Jahren einen märchenhaftenden Eindruck und alles wirkt so, als ob es sich um ein neu eröffnetes Hotel handelt. Wir kommen bestimmt auch die nächsten zehn Jahre immer mal wieder vorbei. Liebe Grüße und bis bald👍

Sehr gepflegte Anlage, sehr schön gelegen mit tollem Strand und mit kleinem Hausriff. Personal überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit. Zimmerserive morgens und abends; unser Housekeeper Mohammed ist eine Perle, er hat wunderbare Kunstwerke aus Handtüchern auf unser Bett gezaubert! Alles sehr sauber! Frühstück und Abendessen am Buffet hervorragend! In diesem Resort bleibt vermutlich kein Wunsch offen. Absolute Empfehlung, wenn man einfach nur entspannen möchte und viel Zeit unter Wasser mit Schnorcheln oder Tauchen verbringen möchte. Tauchbasis fußläufig erreichbar.

Was voor ons de eerste keer in een resort en dat was wel even wennen. De start was niet gelukkig omdat we eerst lekker werden gemaakt met een upgrade en dus een zouden we een kamer krijgen met uitzicht op de zee. Was inderdaad mooie locatie maar helaas was er die dag of kort ervoor iets gerenoveerd/geverfd in de kamer en er hing een heel sterke aceton lucht die helaas niet weg ging. We kregen uiteindelijk een andere kamer zonder uitzicht en dat was een beetje onbevredigend. Dag later hebben we een compromis gevonden en met bijbetaling, maar ook wel met korting hebben we een luxere kamer genomen met inderdaad een mooi uitzicht. Het ontbijtbuffet is zeer uitgebreid met wel als risico dat je teveel gaat eten. Kostte ons paar dagen om de juiste balans hierin te vinden. We kwamen voor de rust en die hebben we daar zeker gevonden en voor ons was als afsluiting van de middag heel fijn om naar de sauna te gaan en daarna te zwemmen in het verwarmde zwembad. Al met al toch een positieve ervaring

We got partial ocean view (really just a sliver) rooms and half board. The rooms were large and very clean with big balconies. The resort was very clean and super well maintained. Even though they said they were at capacity it never felt busy there. The beach is pristine with tons of seating any time of the day. The staff were always there to take care of everything and were extremely friendly. We took advantage of the free shuttle to the house reef off the pier which was some of the best diving I have done, reef is very healthy. Only issue we ran into is the rental gear for snorkeling was poor quality. Better to rent from the dive shop at the pier. Food was great. We ate in the Asian restaurant once, a beach grill once and the rest at the main restaurant. If eating away from the main restaurant it is very easy to exceed the meal plan credit. In general though this was extremely relaxing and wonderful, it is the best of Mexican all inclusive resorts with Fiji quality beaches but way cheaper than both.

Die Hotel-Anlage ist wunderschön, wir hatten das Glück, ein Zimmer ganz oben mit traumhaftem Blick über die Anlage und aufs Meer zu haben. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Das Buffet zum Frühstück und Abendessen lässt keine Wünsche offen, ist riesengross, äusserst fein und vieles wird direkt frisch zubereitet. Das Hausriff beim grossen Steg, links ausserhalb der Anlage ist super zum Schnorcheln. Ein Elektro-"Zügli" bringt einem bequem dorthin. Das Marina, wie ein Mini-Dorf am kleinen Hafen bietet kleine Läden und Restaurants. Bei Orca, direkt beim Steg gelegen, kann man auch wunderschöne halb- oder ganztages- Tauch- und Schnorchelausflüge buchen. Rundum ein Ort, bei dem man die Ferien in vollen Zügen geniessen kann.

The Kempinski in soma bay is a beautiful hotel located in a quiet bay with a clean massive sandy beach, azure waters and mountains in the horizon. The service is truly 5 star - everyone was like how do I make the stay special especially staff at the beach and manager at sultan bar (tharos). Loved the stay and will highly recommend.

One of the most beautiful hotels we ever stayed at. The staff is absolutely amazing - from the restaurant, the housekeeping to the beach! Special shout out to Amr and Diaa from the beach /beach bar team for going above and beyond to look after us. It is possible to do some snorkeling directly from the beach. The water is crystal clear. The buffet doesn’t leave anything to be desired! If you consider staying in Soma Bay dont bother looking at other hotels- this is by far the best option! True value for money! You get free water in the rooms and on the beach. This was our second stay and we will definitely be back! Thank you to the entire Team at Kempinski Soma Bay!

I spent hours & hours at the front desk trying to explain to them that my expedia reservation included half board package for both rooms that i reserved yet they kept arguing that i need to spend $80 per night to have dinner. I am disaappinted with their staff.

Die Hotel-Anlage ist wunderschön, wir hatten das Glück, ein Zimmer ganz oben mit traumhaftem Blick über die Anlage und aufs Meer zu haben. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Das Buffet zum Frühstück und Abendessen lässt keine Wünsche offen, ist riesengross, äusserst fein und vieles wird direkt frisch zubereitet. Das Hausriff beim grossen Steg, links ausserhalb der Anlage ist super zum Schnorcheln. Ein Elektro-"Zügli" bringt einem bequem dorthin. Das Marina, wie ein Mini-Dorf am kleinen Hafen bietet kleine Läden und Restaurants. Bei Orca, direkt beim Steg gelegen, kann man auch wunderschöne halb- oder ganztages- Tauch- und Schnorchelausflüge buchen. Rundum ein Ort, bei dem man die Ferien in vollen Zügen geniessen kann.

Laguna Club, die ruhige und persönliche Atmosphäre, keine Animation dafür dezente und schöne Sundowner-Abende am Strand Die wirklich tolle Lagunenanlage, der noch schönere Strand mit Riff. Tolle, herzliche und persönliche Service! Einzig die Preise für Getränke, Wein und Cocktails sind im Vergleich zu Steigenberger El Gouna 50-75% teuerer für Import und lokale Alkoholika.

One of the most beautiful hotels we ever stayed at. The staff is absolutely amazing - from the restaurant, the housekeeping to the beach! Special shout out to Amr and Diaa from the beach /beach bar team for going above and beyond to look after us. It is possible to do some snorkeling directly from the beach. The water is crystal clear. The buffet doesn’t leave anything to be desired! If you consider staying in Soma Bay dont bother looking at other hotels- this is by far the best option! True value for money! You get free water in the rooms and on the beach. This was our second stay and we will definitely be back! Thank you to the entire Team at Kempinski Soma Bay!

Zimmer geräumig, sehr sauber, gut ausgestattet. Überaus zuvorkommender und netter Roomservice zweimal täglich. Alles prima. Die ganze Anlage sehr gepflegt. Reichhaltiges Frühstück und Abendessen vom Buffet. Strandservice top. In Summe absolut empfehlenswert. Wir waren das dritte Mal dort und kommen bestimmt wieder.

Very nice property. The staff is extremely helpful and courteous, and as an added bonus, they even have several german speaking guest relations employees. And the food is wonderful and very varied. The Breakfast and Dîner Buffets are extremely rich and savory. The Pool and Beach areas are great, and the rooms are beautifully appointed.

We got partial ocean view (really just a sliver) rooms and half board. The rooms were large and very clean with big balconies. The resort was very clean and super well maintained. Even though they said they were at capacity it never felt busy there. The beach is pristine with tons of seating any time of the day. The staff were always there to take care of everything and were extremely friendly. We took advantage of the free shuttle to the house reef off the pier which was some of the best diving I have done, reef is very healthy. Only issue we ran into is the rental gear for snorkeling was poor quality. Better to rent from the dive shop at the pier. Food was great. We ate in the Asian restaurant once, a beach grill once and the rest at the main restaurant. If eating away from the main restaurant it is very easy to exceed the meal plan credit. In general though this was extremely relaxing and wonderful, it is the best of Mexican all inclusive resorts with Fiji quality beaches but way cheaper than both.
