My second time staying at Amber House and it will be my go-to whenever I am visiting Paignton. The owners are wonderful, very friendly and helpful. The room I had overlooked the back garden and it was very clean and private. Very lovely stay all the way around. Highly recommend Amber House-close to the beach, the train station, Paignton Harbour, and High street and the owners are very personable and the breakfast is just what you need to start the day right. Great value too!

We had an excellent 2 night stay at Amber House. It was a spacious room with a sea view and had lots of little extras included-biscuits, assorted teas, coffees, hot chocolate and toiletries. Large television with good choice of channels and nice chairs to sit on. Breakfast was excellent with a good choice including dairy and wheat free which I need. Best bowl of fruit salad we’ve had anywhere. There is a small library of books and lots of DVD’s for use on wet days. The only minor niggle was we forgot to bring our own special pillows and theirs weren’t quite as comfortable. We will be back plus pillows.
