Schöner Kurz-Aufenthalt außerhalb der Saison. Ein paar kleinere Schönheits-Reparaturen wären im Zimmer mal wieder fällig. Service freundlich und sehr gut - ein besonderer Dank an den Concierge Andrea, der Abends noch einen der beiden Blockierer von den E-Ladesäulen vertreiben konnte... In der Parkplatzgebühr ist Aufladen des E-Autos mit drin (2x 11 KW vorhanden). Spa ist leider nicht mit drin. Der Pool ist außen und deshalb nur in der Saison nutzbar.

The hotel is very dated and definitely not a 5 star like advertised. There is no lobby area or any area to sit and relax. Advertises a pool area but doesn’t mention that you have to pay to use the pool Paint is peeling from the walls, our window leaked in the rain, the shower door didn’t close properly and soaked the bathroom floor. Tea and coffee wasn’t filled up every day had to ask for more and they tried to charge me for a coffee sachet! Breakfast was €20 per person per day! Went next door to a little bakery for croissants and coffee which was €2 It’s in a good location next to the bus stop and on the boarder of the main Livorno area

Lovely location and the room had a huge bed. But the pool was closed and the spa only opened at 3pm on Tuesday - we were there Monday to Wednesday, so that was very limiting. The bar had a lovely view, but was very expensive.

I bagni necessitano di un intervento di ristrutturazione urgente e un miglioramento significativo della pulizia è imprescindibile. Se da un lato il ristorante offre piatti deliziosi e gode di una vista mozzafiato, dall'altro l'edificio stesso, un magnifico palazzo, merita una maggiore attenzione e cura. Parimenti, la palestra richiede un rinnovamento per offrire un ambiente più accogliente e funzionale.

Den Namen Grand und die 5* leider nicht verdient, sorry ! Preise wie ein 5* Hotel, jedoch Leistungen und Ausstattung eher max. 3*. Frühstück für ein 5* Grand Hotel lächerlich. Die Zimmer in die Jahre gekommen. Das Badezimmer stinkt, muffelt nach Schimmel. Gläser im Bad zum Abspülen nach dem Zähneputzen sind aus Plastik. Fenster gehen nicht richtig zu, man hört jeden Lärm von der Straße, der sehr stark befahren ist. Ich würde das Hotel eher 2 bis 2 Sterne einschätzen. Möchte wirklich nicht reklamieren, aber Preise wie in einem 5 Sterne verlangt sollte auch Leistung wie ein Sterne Hotel erbringen. Übrigens Aperol-Spritz 0,2 kostet im 5 Stock in der Roofbar €15,-. Parken kostet täglich 30,-, kleine Haustiere €35,-. Achtung, nur der Eintritt in den Spa-Bereich kostet p.P. €40,-. Die Anwendungen sind noch nicht inbegriffen!

E' un hotel che era la residenza estiva dei Reali e quindi la struttura è splendida. Situata di fronte al mare, con ampio parcheggio e camere molto spaziose e confortevoli. Breakfast veramente notevole per la ricchezza e varietà. Ottimo servizio.

The hotel is nice with a good service. The gym was a disappointment in the -1 floor, with no windows or functional AC. The breakfast was also very basic. The roof pool and deck was nice to relax and soak in the sun.

I enjoyed my stay. Positives were the quiet location next to the sea, good bus connection to the centre and station, nice historic building and rooms and the staff were friendly and professional. The breakfast was only an about 3* in terms of quality. Also, I noticed that the space under the bed hadn’t been cleaned properly (dust etc.). The air conditioning didn’t work which was not too bad at that time of the year. There was no milk provided for the tea/coffee in the room. As I said, I enjoyed it, especially because of the staff and beauty of the building, but I wouldn’t call it a 5*

Rude Front desk ladies, and our Room had Mold all over the wall. When I told them they said "oh". Then; They charged me for a car when i didnt have one. When i asked for refund they said" No i can\'t refund, i complained again & receptionists said it will take weeks for refund". Not helpful.

Property was grand but tired. Restaurant has a magnificent view over the harbour. Food selection and staff were excellent. However our shower was not clean and had a temporary wooden slatted floor which was insecure/unsafe and it was impossible to use the shower without flooding the bathroom. Reception was poorly run - had to queue for sometime to check in and we were told the roof pool was closed when it was actually open.

The staff took excellent care of us. An example we had just got back to hotel and the restaurant had closed. But the bartender and the chef whipped up some delicious food even though they closed. They went above and beyond. Rooms are large and clean. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. We had beautiful views of ocean

What a wonderful hotel, check in & service by everybody was great, the hotel is beautiful. My room was huge with a separate marble bathroom. The rooftop pool was very nice although the water could have been a bit cleaner, it was murky. The breakfast was out of this world, so many choices & beautiful. I would love to stay again.

This was an outstanding hotel. The rooms were big, not the typical small European room. The bathroom had a tub and a shower and also was large. The location was beautiful - right across from the ocean. I would stay here again!!

check in very unpolite and nobody to escort you to the room; missing valet service. bathroom super old with some broken pieces; towels very old and smelling bad; bed very uncomfortable with the two single mattress opening and missing topper. Overall not a 5 star, only the building is nice.

Struttura di valore artistico l, molto bella. Pagare un parcheggio all' aperto euro 18,00 è un assurdità. La camera ricevuta inadeguata per la mancanza di uno scrittoio, spazio camera inadeguato il supporto porta valige posizionato davanti all' armadio rende difficoltosa l'apertura. Il materasso da sostituire viene il mal di schiena. Bagno 2 piccoli bagni uno minuscolo con WC e Bidet, l' altro causa protezione della doccia non idonea l' acqua bagna il pavimento e l'utilizzo per la persona successiva è praticamente impossibile.

Another fantastic stay at this lovely hotel. This time we had our 6 month old with us. The staff were really friendly, helpful and kind, especially with the baby. We were given recommendations for restaurants and provided anything we needed.

The staff took excellent care of us. An example we had just got back to hotel and the restaurant had closed. But the bartender and the chef whipped up some delicious food even though they closed. They went above and beyond. Rooms are large and clean. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. We had beautiful views of ocean

This was an outstanding hotel. The rooms were big, not the typical small European room. The bathroom had a tub and a shower and also was large. The location was beautiful - right across from the ocean. I would stay here again!!

It is a first-class hotel right by the sea, with friendly service staff and a breakfast buffet that leaves nothing to be desired. The room was very spacious, with a comfortable king size bed 😀 The furnishings are already a bit old (some paint is peeling off on the walls and shutters, slight defects in the bathroom and the furnishings). But none of this had a negative impact on my stay! A small pool & sun loungers on the roof terrace, which I didn't use. The hotel is right next to a bus stop and the journey to the center takes 15 to 20 minutes. It is also possible to rent an e-bike directly on site.

What a wonderful hotel, check in & service by everybody was great, the hotel is beautiful. My room was huge with a separate marble bathroom. The rooftop pool was very nice although the water could have been a bit cleaner, it was murky. The breakfast was out of this world, so many choices & beautiful. I would love to stay again.

Didn't feel 5* Especially not breakfast in which every small cup of coffee had to be individually requested. The restaurant prices were through the roof, appropriately enough given the restaurant is actually through the roof. Lovely views over the sea though.

The hotel is very dated and definitely not a 5 star like advertised. There is no lobby area or any area to sit and relax. Advertises a pool area but doesn’t mention that you have to pay to use the pool Paint is peeling from the walls, our window leaked in the rain, the shower door didn’t close properly and soaked the bathroom floor. Tea and coffee wasn’t filled up every day had to ask for more and they tried to charge me for a coffee sachet! Breakfast was €20 per person per day! Went next door to a little bakery for croissants and coffee which was €2 It’s in a good location next to the bus stop and on the boarder of the main Livorno area

Overall it was a pleasant stay. However the hotel is not what you would expect from its name. Some parts would need renovation. The breakfast was badly organised in parts and the rooftop bar prices are ridiculous.

E' un hotel che era la residenza estiva dei Reali e quindi la struttura è splendida. Situata di fronte al mare, con ampio parcheggio e camere molto spaziose e confortevoli. Breakfast veramente notevole per la ricchezza e varietà. Ottimo servizio.

Property was grand but tired. Restaurant has a magnificent view over the harbour. Food selection and staff were excellent. However our shower was not clean and had a temporary wooden slatted floor which was insecure/unsafe and it was impossible to use the shower without flooding the bathroom. Reception was poorly run - had to queue for sometime to check in and we were told the roof pool was closed when it was actually open.

Lovely location and the room had a huge bed. But the pool was closed and the spa only opened at 3pm on Tuesday - we were there Monday to Wednesday, so that was very limiting. The bar had a lovely view, but was very expensive.
