A fabulous 2 night pre-Christmas stay at Grays Boutique B&B. Room was large and beautifully appointed as was the rest of the house. A real find, very luxurious and convenient location for walking into town with the benefit of on site parking.

Excellent B&B. Everything was ideal. The room (#9) was a good size (even though it's the smallest one) with a deceptively spacious bathroom - which had a great shower. Comfy bed, light and bright (big Velux window), and very clean. Great breakfast with lots of choices. Friendly and helpful staff / owners, free parking, and the place was an easy 10 - 15 min walk right into the centre throng. We'll stay here again next time we visit Bath.

Lovely little B&B, good location - nice short walk to the centre. Parking space is a nice bonus. Included breakfast was lush, staff were all really friendly and the room was lovely, clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

Grays is located up the hill opposite the town center, a 15 min walk when going downhill. It’s located in a beautiful townhouse surrounded by lush gardens. The rooms are very well appointed and the beds very comfortable. Even though there is no air conditioning, there were several windows we could open and a fan that quickly cooled down the room. The owners were very accommodating, allowing us to stash our bags when we came in on an early train. After sightseeing all day, we found our bags had been carried to our room for us. Then, when we had to leave for a day trip before breakfast was served, they packed us sandwiches and snacks and drinks. On our second morning in Bath we enjoyed their regular breakfast and it was exceptional! I had the Eggs Benedict and my daughter had the Full English. The bacon used was like a slice of ham. Overall, Grays was just a delight. We’d love to return!

More like a country house than an B & B. Large room with fantastic view. Very comfortable bed, comfy chairs to sit in and read. Teas, coffee and fresh bottle of water everyday and Kit Kats. Decent size shower room and sink. Room was cleaned everyday. Breakfast with a fairly wide choices, was excellent. All staff were friendly and helpful. Olaf was a great source of information and managed the property very well. Lovely gardens front and back. Only negative which we were warned about before we arrived by the owners of the tight parking facilities,which we felt could be remedied easily by removing some of the rockery walls, cutting back some of the planting and widening the driveway entrance. But we had a great stay and would highly recommend.

Would have been 5 stars, but the shower water actually completely turned off whilst I was in the middle of a shower! Not great!!! Also teabags were not replenished after the first night On the positive side, room was very nice, great views over Bath, and the bed was very comfortable. Parking was good for us.

Very good hotel. Room was very clean and bed very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. 15 minute walk in to town, so very convenient. All round a very nice place to stay. The only thing I would say is that the room was a little smaller than expected.

Lovely 2 night stay at Grays. Our room had a fantastic view overlooking Bath. Very impressive B&B which was very tastefully decorated and furnished and all areas were spotlessly clean. What a fab b&b! The rooms are a great size, with very comfy beds and we had a great view of the city. The whole place was tastefully decorated, very clean and welcoming. They provide all the extras you could need. The breakfast was very good with lots of options in a nice setting. The staff were lovely and attentive. A short 10 min walk into the city centre which suited us, we didn't need our car the whole weekend. We will definitely visit again.

Wonderful early check in experience and friendly staff! Lovely big room with a nice view. Parking was a bonus. Lots of additional extras which was a nice touch. Ground floor so heard footsteps above, not a problem for us. Easy walk down hill into the centre! Breakfast was wonderful. Great stay. Hope to be back!

Great stay just after Christmas. Check-in times are limited, but it was very easy to get in following the instructions. Room and the whole hotel was really nicely furnished and decorated with good taste. Everything was clean. Breakfast was also really good with different varieties to order. Peaceful location with about 10 min walk to the city center. Can highly recommend this hotel.

Wonderful early check in experience and friendly staff! Lovely big room with a nice view. Parking was a bonus. Lots of additional extras which was a nice touch. Ground floor so heard footsteps above, not a problem for us. Easy walk down hill into the centre! Breakfast was wonderful. Great stay. Hope to be back!

Grays is located up the hill opposite the town center, a 15 min walk when going downhill. It’s located in a beautiful townhouse surrounded by lush gardens. The rooms are very well appointed and the beds very comfortable. Even though there is no air conditioning, there were several windows we could open and a fan that quickly cooled down the room. The owners were very accommodating, allowing us to stash our bags when we came in on an early train. After sightseeing all day, we found our bags had been carried to our room for us. Then, when we had to leave for a day trip before breakfast was served, they packed us sandwiches and snacks and drinks. On our second morning in Bath we enjoyed their regular breakfast and it was exceptional! I had the Eggs Benedict and my daughter had the Full English. The bacon used was like a slice of ham. Overall, Grays was just a delight. We’d love to return!

We are plant based, we contacted James abd he arrnaged for vegan sausages for our breakfast. He greeted us on our arrival and made us feel welcome. The property is lovely and beautifuly decorated. The ladies serving breakfast were exceptional, polite, helpful, nothing too much trouble, they all had lovely personal skills and made breakfast flawless.

Great place. Only one issue - when booking the "Superior Twin Super King Room" on Expedia, the bed defaults to a King double bed (although the picture shows a Twin bed setup). The only options for "Bedding Requests" when you reserve the room are 1 King Bed OR 1 Single Bed , so that's still a bit confusing.

We so enjoyed our stay at Gray's B & B - we arrived early - had just flown in from US - and we were able to leave our luggage and explore the town of Bath. Our room was just lovely, the breakfasts were delicious and the host and hostess were friendly and helpful. It is about a 20 minute walk to the Abbey from Gray's which was not an issue for us - got to see the homes and gardens as we walked - I would definitely recommend this B & B to all

We were totally enamoured by the pictures of the hotel and decided to give it a try as a precursor to using it again for our son't wedding next year. The room, breakfast and comfort met our expectations. However whilst the breakfast staff were smiley and friendly the hotel staff were not as welcoming. We telephoned a couple of days before our stay to enquire about parking and tbh the man on the phone was not particularly friendly, in fact a bit stand offish. He was possibly the same man sat at a computer at the desk as we went into the restaurant for breakfast who ignored all the guests and continued to work. As we were coming to Bath for my birthday and staying overnight we wanted to make sure our accommodation had parking which this property advertised. However the parking is not available until after midday so we had to pay to park in Bath itself. There was also no information given on the property's description explaining it is not in the Ulez zone which means had we known we could park outside on the street, on the opposite side of the road, we would have avoided this charge. When we arrived at the hotel at about 6.30 p.m. there was no one there to greet us, as is explained in advance, and discovered that the parking spaces are very small. We couldn't park and so luckily found street parking. We left after breakfast and tbh won't be returning next year ,we would prefer to find somewhere with friendlier management.

The property is set in a very nice quiet location. Parking on the premises is easy. Upon arrival all staff were very welcoming, very pleasant and enthusiastic about what they do. The hallway entrance was beautiful and the decor was very warm and homely. Our room was beautiful and had certainly been professionally designed and furnished, not shoddy or cheaply done. The whole of the premises reflected this also. When we went for breakfast the dining room was immaculate and wonderfully presented, again very homely. The quality of the food served for breakfast was superb, and cooked perfectly. The walk to Bath city centre was simple to navigate and took ten minutes. As B&B's go we would struggle to find a nicer accommodation for sure. We're looking forward to returning in the near future.

What a fab b&b! The rooms are a great size, with very comfy beds and we had a great view of the city. The whole place was tastefully decorated, very clean and welcoming. They provide all the extras you could need. The breakfast was very good with lots of options in a nice setting. The staff were lovely and attentive. A short 10 min walk into the city centre which suited us, we didn't need our car the whole weekend. We will definitely visit again.

We were given a warm welcome, even though we were a little early in checking in. Nice clean facility. A bit of caution, if you have problems walking up hill either call a cab, or stay at another location. When we left for the day, I inadvertently left the door handle sign facing the wrong way, telling not to disturb. They still left us a care package!

We were very happy with our stay at Gray's Boutique. We were in the twin room on the ground floor with a view of the garden. Having seen the wonderful view from the front of the hotel, I'd recommend booking a room with city view if you can get one. Breakfast was really good - cooked to order with plenty of options on the menu, as well as a buffet of fruit, cereal, yogurt and more. The beds were very comfortable and everything was clean and well designed. It's about 20 minutes' walk to the city centre - we took the short cut down the path across from the hotel. And there's parking space if you're driving. You won't be disappointed!

Really useful that it had its own parking, we chose to walk to and from Bath, roughly 15-20 minute walk depending on where about in Bath you were going, this was no issue for us but coming back to the B&B is uphill so something to bare in mind if you’re not so mobile. Would highly recommend staying at Grays and would definitely rebook if we were to return to Bath!
Lovely B&B with lovely hosts. We stayed for 2 nights and really enjoyed our stay. Delicious cooked to order breakfast, and beautiful room. Very stylish victorian guesthouse. Clean, splendid breakfast, quite close to the city centre. Warm welcome, useful information. After that (we stayed there for 3 days) the tone changed, being businesslike and superficial.
