Loved our stay. We stayed 7 nights which is apparently a long stay for Bruges, but we loved every day of it. Every morning there was a 3 course breakfast that was excellent and tasty as well as slightly different each day and added great value for money in our stay. I did not give 5 stars for cleanliness just because you could see dust behind the bed in areas that you wouldn't always look and the shower drain was very slow. We had the 2 bedroom suite and were not aware that to access the kid bedroom, you have to go out of the master suite into the common stair area, down a short dark hall and into another separate room, the rooms are not connected. Young kids would not likely be comfortable sleeping in that separate room as it was a bit creepy and far from parents, but we made it work for our family. It would be fine for teens or other adults. The area is a tourist attraction, so we heard horse carriages go by our bedroom window all day long, we loved hearing their clip clopping hooves go by. There is almost always a crowd of tourists out front taking photos of the tiny bridge, but you can use the back entrance so you don't have to squeeze through the crowds. I highly recommend a stay here and the host was excellent!

Incrível. Localizada dentro de um complexo castelo em Bruges. Tem somente dois quartos o que faz com que o atendimento dos proprietários seja especial e único. Na sala do café da manhã, funciona o ateliê do artista David, que nós recebeu com gentileza e alegria.

Amazing property and stay! You really feel like you stepped back into medieval times, with all the comfort of modern amenities. The view could not be more picturesque, right next to the famous Boniface Bridge and the Church of Our Lady. The biggest “issue” is getting passed all the tourists taking pictures of the bridge, but the park is closed to the public at night so it is quiet at night. David is a great host, and the breakfast is delicious.

If you want an experience of a lifetime… like going through a Time Machine, David’s place is amazing. From the unique windows, to the enchanted garden, to the specially curated breakfast, this place was so special. My husband and I and our 3 kids stayed here one night and wished it was more. My kids especially loved the tourists stopping at the bridge to take pictures of our special place, and getting them in the background waving out of their windows. David was so helpful laying the city out for us and giving us recommendations to see and eat. We loved every bit of our stay. Ended the night with a 5 person movie in our big bed with the windows open to our quiet little corridor in the city. Absolutely perfect.

This guest house built in the 1500s is the epitome of unique. A beautiful property in a beautiful setting. Having said that this property is not for you if you have any mobility issues. There is no elevator. The stairs are very steep and spiral. We were on the second floor so it was a challenge. Like most older buildings in Bruge there is no air conditioning. We had a very nice cross wind with the windows wide open. It was necessary because of the exceptionally hot weather. Having the windows open however exposed us to mosquitoes throughout the night. Our hostess/greeter, Fleur, was very accommodating. Each morning she prepared delicious breakfasts with an extraordinary amount of attention to detail. The building itself does require some maintenance, it is showing it’s age and the garden/courtyard also required some attention. Easy walking to nearby restaurants and attractions.

Nuit Blanche is a fabulous place to stay. The host (David) is gracious, the breakfast is plentiful and beautifully served, the room is outstanding, the shower is warm, and the history of this 15th century building is amazing! Be aware that it is not handicapped accessible

David is such a wonderful host at this beautifully appointed, atmospheric b&b. The gothic Pasionarta room was brimming with history - as well as being very comfortable. This home’s location is perfectly central for sightseeing and restaurants and, as part of the museum complex, has nighttime security that makes for beautifully serene sleep. The fresh and healthy breakfast is the best we’ve ever encountered at a b&b, and the nutritious but delicious ‘breakfast dessert’ is a brilliant innovation. David shared great advice to help us make the most out of our time in Brugge in the way we wanted to travel - so very generous with his time and, as a bonus, you can immerse yourself in his beautiful artworks.

We felt so welcome to this amazing place the moment we walked in the door. David is an incredible host and artist. His lovely daughter, who often served breakfast, was a pleasure. She was kind, intuitive and efficient. Daily 3 course breakfast in David’s art studio was a special treat. We spent the week on the top floor. It had the most unbelievable view. The bedroom seemed very authentic to the period with beautiful detail in the woodwork. The bathroom was nicely updated and was very usable.

From the moment we walked in the door we were blown away. Our host David was very welcoming and friendly, and provided great recommendations. Our room was clean, well maintained and like something out of a fairly tale. It was modern yet still looked and felt medieval. Our morning breakfast was very tasty and restaurant quality, which is rare for other B&B's we've experienced. The location couldn't have been any better, with the gorgeous cathedral, courtyard, canal and Lovers Bridge visible from our window. We will most definitely be booking again whenever we make it back to Brugge.

We had the most wonderful stay. It was exquisite. Unbelievable how perfectly it has been preserved with 14th century stained glass and a view from a fairytale. We were welcomed warmly by David who is a gifted artist and the breakfast was fine dining. We couldn’t have wished for a more perfect stay and we’re grateful he shared his gorgeous home. Don’t hesitate to book.

Had an amazing two night stay here for a visit to Bruges and everything was perfect - the setting of a 15th century manor (with all modern comforts, welcoming hosts, and a delicious breakfast) cannot be beat. This is one of the coolest, most memorable places I’ve ever stayed.

Delightful, old property in the middle of the old city. Walk everywhere. Very quiet at night. Loved our bed and the breakfasts were amazing. David and his daughter were very welcoming hosts.

A leap back in time with clever and respectful amenities. Possible, and probably the outstanding stay over a span of decades. My partner said the top floor view over a close also topped her life-list. We will return for a longer stay next fall.

The most amazing location in all of Bruges, just dripping with history. David de Graef is a most gracious host and super talented artist. The breakfasts are works of art in their own right and David was so helpful with our city touring as well. Our room was perfect and had a most amazing view of the cathedral behind us.

Our morning breakfast was very tasty and restaurant quality, which is rare for other B&B's we've experienced. The location couldn't have been any better, with the gorgeous cathedral, courtyard, canal and Lovers Bridge visible from our window. We will most definitely be booking again whenever we make it back to Brugge.
From the moment we walked in the door we were blown away. Our host David was very welcoming and friendly, and provided great recommendations. Our room was clean, well maintained and like something out of a fairly tale. It was modern yet still looked and felt medieval. The house and rooms are very old and full of history and character. The service and breakfast is perfect. I particularly enjoyed watching the movie ‘In Brugge’ on the drop down projection screen with surround sound from the massive solid bed. If you like character, oak panelling and led glass windows then look no further.

Loved our stay. We stayed 7 nights which is apparently a long stay for Bruges, but we loved every day of it. Every morning there was a 3 course breakfast that was excellent and tasty as well as slightly different each day and added great value for money in our stay. I did not give 5 stars for cleanliness just because you could see dust behind the bed in areas that you wouldn't always look and the shower drain was very slow. We had the 2 bedroom suite and were not aware that to access the kid bedroom, you have to go out of the master suite into the common stair area, down a short dark hall and into another separate room, the rooms are not connected. Young kids would not likely be comfortable sleeping in that separate room as it was a bit creepy and far from parents, but we made it work for our family. It would be fine for teens or other adults. The area is a tourist attraction, so we heard horse carriages go by our bedroom window all day long, we loved hearing their clip clopping hooves go by. There is almost always a crowd of tourists out front taking photos of the tiny bridge, but you can use the back entrance so you don't have to squeeze through the crowds. I highly recommend a stay here and the host was excellent!

The view could not be more picturesque, right next to the famous Boniface Bridge and the Church of Our Lady. The biggest “issue” is getting passed all the tourists taking pictures of the bridge, but the park is closed to the public at night so it is quiet at night. David is a great host, and the breakfast is delicious.

Wow! What an incredible experience staying at Nuit Blanche. We stayed in the deluxe double room and it was like being in a fairy tale. It will forever leave a wonderful memory for our family. The view of the Church of our lady from our multiple windows was amazing. Do not miss seeing Michelangelo’s Madonna of Brugge in the church! The guesthouse is close to everything - train station an easy walk or Uber. The breakfast was beautiful! Can’t express what a memorable experience this was and we only stayed one night!

The most amazing location in all of Bruges, just dripping with history. David de Graef is a most gracious host and super talented artist. The breakfasts are works of art in their own right and David was so helpful with our city touring as well. Our room was perfect and had a most amazing view of the cathedral behind us.

We felt so welcome to this amazing place the moment we walked in the door. David is an incredible host and artist. His lovely daughter, who often served breakfast, was a pleasure. She was kind, intuitive and efficient. Daily 3 course breakfast in David’s art studio was a special treat. We spent the week on the top floor. It had the most unbelievable view. The bedroom seemed very authentic to the period with beautiful detail in the woodwork. The bathroom was nicely updated and was very usable.

I have the most magical fairytale-like experience. From the moment I knocked at the door and was greeted by the host to the amazing mouthwatering breakfast to the way he sat me down and mapped out exactly where I should go, and what I should see in the city everything about Nuit Blanche and the city of Bruges was breathtaking. I arrived from the train earlier than I anticipated and arrived at Nuit Blanche early as well. Mr. DeGraef opened his home to me and treated me better than a 5 star resort would have. He sat me down and opened a map and drew a walking tour for me to experience all that Brugges has to see and more. The room was fit for a queen and indeed, the King and Queen stayed in my very room during their mid-century honeymoon! My view was nothing short of amazing. I opened my window and saw Mr. DeGraeff painting in the garden. I went out to the garden and had a peaceful meditation and despite tourists across the canal, the garden was quiet and elegant. I felt like royalty while I was visiting. I’d move there in a heartbeat but I will settle for dreaming of returning for another stay in this magical medieval home in the future.

If you want an experience of a lifetime… like going through a Time Machine, David’s place is amazing. From the unique windows, to the enchanted garden, to the specially curated breakfast, this place was so special. My husband and I and our 3 kids stayed here one night and wished it was more. My kids especially loved the tourists stopping at the bridge to take pictures of our special place, and getting them in the background waving out of their windows. David was so helpful laying the city out for us and giving us recommendations to see and eat. We loved every bit of our stay. Ended the night with a 5 person movie in our big bed with the windows open to our quiet little corridor in the city. Absolutely perfect.

David is such a wonderful host at this beautifully appointed, atmospheric b&b. The gothic Pasionarta room was brimming with history - as well as being very comfortable. This home’s location is perfectly central for sightseeing and restaurants and, as part of the museum complex, has nighttime security that makes for beautifully serene sleep. The fresh and healthy breakfast is the best we’ve ever encountered at a b&b, and the nutritious but delicious ‘breakfast dessert’ is a brilliant innovation. David shared great advice to help us make the most out of our time in Brugge in the way we wanted to travel - so very generous with his time and, as a bonus, you can immerse yourself in his beautiful artworks.

This place was incredible, I wanted something very old and traditional and that’s exactly what we got. The location was perfect and in walking distance from the train station and to the town square and all the sights, and the most beautiful sight was looking out of our window and across the canal to the Church of our lady, lovers bridge is just outside the back, David was a great host if your looking for a modern day hotel then this isn’t for you but if you want to step back in time and stay in a peaceful museum then this is 10/10, the breakfast was amazing and very healthy, David also took time to show us places to go and where to eat to get the best out of our stay. If I could give this more than a 5 star ⭐️ rating I would.

She was kind, intuitive and efficient. Daily 3 course breakfast in David’s art studio was a special treat. We spent the week on the top floor. It had the most unbelievable view. The bedroom seemed very authentic to the period with beautiful detail in the woodwork. The bathroom was nicely updated and was very usable.

We had the most wonderful stay. It was exquisite. Unbelievable how perfectly it has been preserved with 14th century stained glass and a view from a fairytale. We were welcomed warmly by David who is a gifted artist and the breakfast was fine dining. We couldn’t have wished for a more perfect stay and we’re grateful he shared his gorgeous home. Don’t hesitate to book.

Loved our stay. We stayed 7 nights which is apparently a long stay for Bruges, but we loved every day of it. Every morning there was a 3 course breakfast that was excellent and tasty as well as slightly different each day and added great value for money in our stay. I did not give 5 stars for cleanliness just because you could see dust behind the bed in areas that you wouldn't always look and the shower drain was very slow. We had the 2 bedroom suite and were not aware that to access the kid bedroom, you have to go out of the master suite into the common stair area, down a short dark hall and into another separate room, the rooms are not connected. Young kids would not likely be comfortable sleeping in that separate room as it was a bit creepy and far from parents, but we made it work for our family. It would be fine for teens or other adults. The area is a tourist attraction, so we heard horse carriages go by our bedroom window all day long, we loved hearing their clip clopping hooves go by. There is almost always a crowd of tourists out front taking photos of the tiny bridge, but you can use the back entrance so you don't have to squeeze through the crowds. I highly recommend a stay here and the host was excellent!

If you want an experience of a lifetime… like going through a Time Machine, David’s place is amazing. From the unique windows, to the enchanted garden, to the specially curated breakfast, this place was so special. My husband and I and our 3 kids stayed here one night and wished it was more. My kids especially loved the tourists stopping at the bridge to take pictures of our special place, and getting them in the background waving out of their windows. David was so helpful laying the city out for us and giving us recommendations to see and eat. We loved every bit of our stay. Ended the night with a 5 person movie in our big bed with the windows open to our quiet little corridor in the city. Absolutely perfect.

This guest house built in the 1500s is the epitome of unique. A beautiful property in a beautiful setting. Having said that this property is not for you if you have any mobility issues. There is no elevator. The stairs are very steep and spiral. We were on the second floor so it was a challenge. Like most older buildings in Bruge there is no air conditioning. We had a very nice cross wind with the windows wide open. It was necessary because of the exceptionally hot weather. Having the windows open however exposed us to mosquitoes throughout the night. Our hostess/greeter, Fleur, was very accommodating. Each morning she prepared delicious breakfasts with an extraordinary amount of attention to detail. The building itself does require some maintenance, it is showing it’s age and the garden/courtyard also required some attention. Easy walking to nearby restaurants and attractions.

매우 오래된 600년 ᆢ브뤼허의 메인 성당 바로 옆 역사적인 자리에서 하룻밤을 보냈다! 위치로는 최고의장소이며 주요 지역을 바로 갈수있는 최고의 위치다. 중세시대를 그대로느끼며 하룻밤 보낸것은 오래 기억에 남을 듯하다! 아침 조식은 화가인 데이비드 주인의 손길이 있는 예술적이 음식이었다 좋았다! 다음에 온다면 다시 예약할것이다!

Wow! What an incredible experience staying at Nuit Blanche. We stayed in the deluxe double room and it was like being in a fairy tale. It will forever leave a wonderful memory for our family. The view of the Church of our lady from our multiple windows was amazing. Do not miss seeing Michelangelo’s Madonna of Brugge in the church! The guesthouse is close to everything - train station an easy walk or Uber. The breakfast was beautiful! Can’t express what a memorable experience this was and we only stayed one night!

David is such a wonderful host at this beautifully appointed, atmospheric b&b. The gothic Pasionarta room was brimming with history - as well as being very comfortable. This home’s location is perfectly central for sightseeing and restaurants and, as part of the museum complex, has nighttime security that makes for beautifully serene sleep. The fresh and healthy breakfast is the best we’ve ever encountered at a b&b, and the nutritious but delicious ‘breakfast dessert’ is a brilliant innovation. David shared great advice to help us make the most out of our time in Brugge in the way we wanted to travel - so very generous with his time and, as a bonus, you can immerse yourself in his beautiful artworks.

Every little thing about this quaint gothic guest house is perfect. There are only two rooms for guests, other than that, the rest is private living by one family. There is a spiral staircase up to the fabulously large period style rooms. No lift but David (the owner and resident artist) kindly helped us with our large suitcases. There are also no tea/coffee making facilities in the room, but with so many charming places nearby, that was certainly not a problem for us. Breakfast indeed made up for any lack of onsite facilities. Breakfasts consist of starter, main course and dessert. All vegetarian, all artistically presented, all absolutely delicious and all served so beautifully. There is certainly no need for lunch later!! The beds are very comfortable, the shower is good pressure, the room is huge and there is a little table which you could certainly eat at if you wanted to bring in some wine (or Belgium beer) and a sandwich, while you wave to the tourists below, all vying for the best spot to take a selfie on Lovers Bridge! You are close to everything without feeling like you are, with the walk to the town square being about 15 minutes.

WOW! Amazing! Not only was the property/building incredible, the owner greeted us & showed us around, giving us history on the property. He is an artist and told us his story, he was so kind! The breakfast was hand made, fresh, from scratch by the nicest people. And the property is perfectly located right in the center of shopping and everything to go see/do. The property’s corner door is actually attached to the famous “Lover’s Bridge”, and our view was of the gorgeous church grounds! This place was incredible! We are talking 14th century, stained glass windows! The photos I am adding are of the property, and of the view from our window, not just something close by. This was a dream!!!

It was the best place I’ve ever slept other than my own home. It was beautiful and the view of the church was amazing. David and his family were magical hosts and the place lived up to the hype. If you’re going to complain because the bed wasn’t firm enough (or is too firm) or the water isn’t exactly the right temperature then stay in a Sheraton. BTW - I’m not saying we didn’t like the bed or the shower, just that the house is 400 years old. It’s like staying in a fairytale and fairytales don’t have a minibar (although our room did). My family of five loved it and they are not easy to please. I’d give it ten stars if I could.

David was a perfect host - the breakfast was exceptional - having a conversation with David during our check in and at breakfast was a family feel and look into Dutch life. My daughters oura rind gave her the rating of a 92 sleep rating for the night which is the best she has had since she got the ring January I would stay here again for longer and take advantage of the views to draw in my stetchbook
