Pet fee was $75. A room for two adults was $150. Why does a 10 week old puppy warrant half the cost of adults? There is limited dinning options around the hotel. Half the parking lot is consumed by storage containers. The hotel smells of sheetrock dust and visual construction work.

Got there from a long flight to find the water was off. So I couldn’t even wash my face or hands or flush the toilet. The air conditioning didn’t work and the temp got to 70 on one side of the room and 67 to the other. They are doing hotel reservation and new rugs must of been installed because the whole 6 th floor smelt of rug glue. Only 1 of the 2 elevators were in service, and finally I woke up to thousands of small ants running on the table, and in my overnight bag. Do not stay here ! Also I told the desk person on checkout and she was not sympathetic at all !! She just said “ unfortunately the hotel is going through renovations and there is nothing we can do “

This is a lovely aviation themed hotel in Daytona. The newly renovated rooms are nice and the beds are super comfortable. Good food and ample parking. The pool is also excellent. When the renovations are complete it will be amazing but there are some links that need working out.

This hotel is currently under renovation. It was a holiday inn and now switching to a Hilton. Our first room had construction happening directly above us. The staff was very accommodating and swiftly gave us a new room. Our second day, the water was shut off (for the construction) without any notice. The hotel gave us breakfast vouchers- but only after we requested something for the inconvenience. The areas that have been updated are very nice! Just be aware if staying in the near future.

The artwork on the wall at the front desk was beautiful! All the staff was so helpful. There was a restaurant and bar on site. The continental breakfast had a great selection of foods. It is pet friendly which is great because we take our Teddy everywhere!

The staff are wonderful, but I will say it is one of the dirtier Holiday Inn Express’s that I have stayed at. When I got to my room the beds looked rustled up (like someone had laid on them) and the floor had a lot of crumbs and pieces of an orange peel. I asked for a new room and the ladies at the front desk were wonderful and gave me a new one on that same floor and unfortunately the cleanliness wasn’t much better. It was very clear that neither room had been vacuumed. At that point I figured since I didn’t see any bugs or anything that it was fine. I will say I did get a text from the front desk asking if my room was okay, so I could have said no, but I didn’t want to be a bother again and figured if two rooms were dirty, trying a third one out probably wouldn’t be much different. I’m usually not picky with hotel rooms at all, but I try to pick chain hotels when I can so that I can count on the cleanliness, so it was a little unfortunate. The lobby area is nicely maintained and looks updated, but the upper floors and rooms definitely are due for a renovation or deep cleaning.

Staff was nice, place was comfortable. Breakfast was very good. The room wasn't as clean as we would have liked it though. There was hair on the floor and on the towels. I wiped the end table with a disinfectant wipe and it came up brown.

I understand that this building was under another hotel name and got purchased by Doubletree Hilton. The carpet in the hallway on the 5th floor had a very strong smell. This needs to be changed. Apart from that, service was great!

it was a very nice clean hotel with very friendly staff. My only complaints were very loud hallways very thin walls and highway noise. The bed was too soft for my liking, but I’m sure other people would enjoy it overall positive stay will stay again.

When my wife and I arrived at the Holiday Inn Dayton/Fairborn, we were “greeted” by an unhappy and unfriendly front desk employee. The room was organized and clean. My wife and I went out to see the area mid-day yesterday and upon return later last night, we discovered that the security latch had come loose and locked us out of our room. We went down to speak about the issue with the last night staff, who were nice and polite. We waited in the dining area while the lady working up front tried to find someone to come fix the latch and let us into our room. After about 30 minutes of waiting, we were made aware that maintenance could not come in until after 8:00 AM, and that we would have to sleep in another room. At that point it was 1:30 AM and didn’t have much of a choice. So, because we could not get into the room where all of our belongings were, we slept in the clothes we had on, didn’t have access to my nightly medication or CPAP, which were all locked in the room. It was a very unpleasant night’s sleep. While checking the out this morning, we were reminded that “Those locks don’t always work right. Be sure to contact the third party [Hotels.com] and let them know what happened, because there’s not much we can do, since you booked through a third party.” I don’t often complain, but this was one of the worst stays I’ve ever experienced. I would like to hear from someone from Hotels.com, who can help rectify the issues.

All of the above-mentioned! And the staff were friendly and extremely helpful. I had a huge pumpkin pie I was taking for a Thanksgiving gathering, never thinking it would be hours before I needed to be there. The girls very graciously said I could use the fridge at the hotel. No problem at all!

My family stayed here for Wright State's family weekend. Its a perfect location for that purpose since its right across the street from campus. The staff were nice and helpful and the room was clean. You even get cookies when you check in which made my 9 year old happy. You can hear the freeway ar night, and there was some construction noises in the morning but not a big deal since we wanted to be so close to campus. We will probably stay there again for family weekend next year.

We are veryimpressed with how amazing this hotel was! The staff were very attentive to our needs, there were so many restaurants and shopping to choose from within walking distance. Also, we had our dog. Usually the hotels that allow for pets are quite dirty and basically 1 star hotels but this place was clean, had nice amenities and super magnificent staff. If we ever would have to travel here again, this would be my first choice .

Pros: Check in and out was great with friendly staff. The breakfast was great with a nice selection. Nicole one of the servers was very delightful and eager to help out. The entire breakfast staff were constantly restocking cleaning and just overall great! No problem with parking and plenty of places around to eat of your choosing. We were there for a high school graduation at Wright State Nutter Center and the proximity was excellent. Cons: The bathroom had no ventilation that we could find so we had to crack the door for the steam from the shower to exit. Although the room was clean the switch to turn the air conditioner on was grimy. There was a little league either soccer or baseball team staying there and the kids ran the halls until after 11:00 pm. Chrissy who was mopping the floor didn’t seem to friendly at all when I told her I was sorry because I had to step on her floor to get to the bathroom. Our overall stay was good.

it was a very nice clean hotel with very friendly staff. My only complaints were very loud hallways very thin walls and highway noise. The bed was too soft for my liking, but I’m sure other people would enjoy it overall positive stay will stay again.

My family stayed here for Wright State's family weekend. Its a perfect location for that purpose since its right across the street from campus. The staff were nice and helpful and the room was clean. You even get cookies when you check in which made my 9 year old happy. You can hear the freeway ar night, and there was some construction noises in the morning but not a big deal since we wanted to be so close to campus. We will probably stay there again for family weekend next year.

Well let’s start off by saying myself as well as others didn’t have hot water to shower and everytime we left the room one key card or another would stop working and we couldn’t get into our rooms. The room and stay were acceptable the breakfast was great although our server asked us for our food vouchers (which we didn’t receive whatsoever) but she still allowed us to eat, was told it should’ve been included with our key cards (it wasn’t) but we were still able to enjoy our breakfast. All together it was somewhat inconvenient but we were in town for our annual UAW bowling tournament so we were told they would give us a discount for that but with everything that was bad we don’t believe even with the discount it was worth it. I’m sure they can better in the future ( at least I hope they do)

The room was comfortable and very clean. The breakfast was satisfying, and the breakfast staff was helpful. We had not been given breakfast tickets at check-in but the staff told us how to get them.

Noisy place, kept getting wakened. Was told at check-in that breakfast was complementary with the room. Next morning, after getting my breakfast, was told I needed to pay for it. $16 for a few pieces of fruit and some potatoes.

Great stay! Very friendly staff and extremely comfortable room. Very nice inviting lobby that is fully updated. The rooms are a bit dated but very clean and beds were comfortable with good pillows too. Excellent breakfast with very friendly service.

The artwork on the wall at the front desk was beautiful! All the staff was so helpful. There was a restaurant and bar on site. The continental breakfast had a great selection of foods. It is pet friendly which is great because we take our Teddy everywhere!

It was a fair stay, I had a better stay last time than I did this time. Upon checking in the other guest was offered cookies I never was and I had three rooms! Secondly the room needed extra sheet, towel and pillows along with a comforter never received it until the next morning. Next day I had to ask if only certain rooms or guest were offered amenities ( Being a person of color). The front desk manager was amazing i love her personality and her professionalism! From I met with her the first trip she still maintained her professional decorum on this stay. Please teach your staff to take a page from her book and apply it to theirs! Will i ever stay again without feeling targeted because of race? Only if this front desk manager is still at the property! She made us feel safe and like a normal human being her and another male front desk agent of color. I personally will not stay here for a very long time to come!
