Great old hotel with lots of Welsh old charm. Loved all of the wood beams, crooked stairs; walls, etc. Nice bar and restaurant on main floor. Helpful staff.

Rooms are a bit dated and the mattress I had was a bit uncomfortable. Also very small single room and thought a bit expensive for what it was. The TV also didn’t work, no channels viewable. The bathroom was nicer and the bar area was very nice, Lovely old building in the centre of Nantwich

Quaint very old with little door ways,uneven floors etc which is great..good bar and food etc right in middle of town.plus free parking at rear. Comfy bed, walls paper thin can literally here everything plus our room had no heating working and noise from nightclub emptying and walking past 4am.

Our room absolutely stunk, we needed to stay the first night but didn’t stay for the second night. We we offered a room that looked like staff quarters, but they were just as grim, there were also 2 Christmas parties near the alternative room. So sadly would not recommend it.

Always a great stay at the Crown, this was my 5th stay in the last year, staff are brilliant! Extremely friendly and professional,Food and ambiance is great, very reasonable price as well. The smallest of negatives would be as a heavier person the mattress is a little uncomfortable, but apart from that I would only ever stay at the Crown.

We initially found the bed uncomfortable as I had a bad back, however the manager moved us to a more comfortable room without issue and apologised.the new room was excellent. Very friendly staff.

Lovely old property everyone very friendly sadly had a small room in the red hot weather with no fan. Had no choice but to have the one window open which was directly onto the main st. All 3 nights we had party goers shouting and yelling until 4am. Came back tired and ready for a good sleep. Shame as external issue to hotel and nothing could be done to rectify but for this reason we wouldn’t return

This is an amazing hotel, given it's 450 ish years old it really is like you are stepping back in time. Uneven floors and steps are a feature of this amazing place. The hotel has a great bar and served an excellent breakfast. I am so glad I visited,if I find myself in the area again I'll return 😄

This hotel is in a very old Tudor style building with heaps of charm and quirkiness. This is a popular and busy pub/restaurant/hotel. Our room was on the top floor with access by stairs with high risers. The double bedroom was small with only one bedside table and no cupboards and only one stool so it is best suited to a one night stay. The room was clean and tidy with again the charm of an uneven floor which is not a problem just be aware. As the room is close to the roof it can get very warm as there is no through breeze and there is no air con or fans. The staff are friendly and efficient. The cooked breakfast was good although no fresh fruit and the serving staff looked very tired.
