Room was right outside the first tee so was very noisy. The room had no air-con and the tv in the room didn’t have any channels on it. Limited parking.

Fabulous hotel, has a great feeling about it. I stayed on my own and was made to feel most welcome, in fact like home from home. Staff are all lovely and friendly. Rooms are a good size and light and airy. shower could of done with more oommph but not an issue. bar is great and selection of beer etc excellent. lovely outside area. golf course nxt door a real bonus and decent! well done guys

Was great to be able to Dine alone in the bar, as I was alone. Restaurant is Excellent too when I have colleagues joining me. So happy to dine again in the bar, as only a personal thing I don’t like to eat in the restaurant alone, so thank you for accommodating me in the bar. This place is the No.1 in and around Whalley, great clean and spacious rooms with so comfy beds, I always sleep well here. Food is amazing , great menu, and the festive one I love now. Good beer and wine selection. Very friendly and professional staff. Roll on the summer, and get time for 9 holes with a £10 voucher from Expedia free 10/10

The hotel is okay, but nothing extraordinary. The rooms are very standard, offering everything you’d typically expect, though I found them a bit overpriced for what they are. The bathroom fan was dripping, but fortunately, it was over the sink, so it didn’t cause much inconvenience. The room was lovely and warm, but there’s no proper temperature control—just a radiator valve to adjust. I imagine it could be uncomfortable in the summer since there’s no air conditioning.

Very pleased with this hotel. Spotlessly clean and staff very helpful. Dining options good and breakfast excellent. Not many hotels do a perfect poached egg, but they manage it here!

Another excellent stay. Lovely hotel, very clean. Comfortable beds and warm rooms (with thermostat that can be adjusted). Powerful shower in bathroom. All staff very friendly and very helpful. Shout out to the gentleman on the reception in the afternoon for checking us is and sorting a taxi for us and big shout out to Hassan (I think) the evening receptionist who sorted our drinks and kept us laughing a lovely gentleman and a great asset to the hotel.

Lovely hotel, spotless and wonderful food (festive menu & breakfast). Staff very friendly. Only minor negative was the room was very hot overnight making it difficult to sleep, even though it was winter & radiator was turned off. However, highly recommended.

Rooms clean. Friendly Staff Members. Very noisy hotel with pumps / heating in bathrooms kicking in over night. Other people in the party stated they had the exactly same in their rooms. But staff didn't seem to know anything about it when mentioning about the noise.

Found the Mytton Fold last minute after being let down on a reservation elsewhere. The staff are amazing the rooms are brand new with everything you could need and the food in the restaurant is absolutely superb and reasonably priced. all in all great place to stay my stay was for work but i would stay again and bring my wife to explore the Ribble valley

Lovely hotel. Food was fine. Only negative was train line in the rear of the building. Bedrooms are too close and a bit noisy early doors. Ask for a front facing bedroom.

The hotel was gorgeous the food was exceptional. Our only sloght complaint was the room was very hot. (Although we could have slept with the window open)

We arrived early and asked if we could possibly check in and fortunately we could. Nothing was too much trouble and all of the staff were very helpful. Our family joined us for breakfast the following morning and again all was good. I would definitely recommend a visit.

Lovely hotel set in the countryside, the receptionist was welcoming and helpful throughout my stay. The food was delicious with excellent customer service. I would definitely return. The bathroom had a large bath which was great.

No VIP access received, never do get anything! Super disappointing to be told I could No longer eat in the bar, especially from a rude young barman , who made a deflamatory comment. I stay here regularly , but I did express I didn’t want to sit alone in a restaurant , being alone, but if I had a dog or a child I could eat in the bar. That’s selective predudice , which will mean I will stay there but not eat there anymore , until there forceful rules change

Room was right outside the first tee so was very noisy. The room had no air-con and the tv in the room didn’t have any channels on it. Limited parking.

Found the Mytton Fold last minute after being let down on a reservation elsewhere. The staff are amazing the rooms are brand new with everything you could need and the food in the restaurant is absolutely superb and reasonably priced. all in all great place to stay my stay was for work but i would stay again and bring my wife to explore the Ribble valley

Fabulous hotel, has a great feeling about it. I stayed on my own and was made to feel most welcome, in fact like home from home. Staff are all lovely and friendly. Rooms are a good size and light and airy. shower could of done with more oommph but not an issue. bar is great and selection of beer etc excellent. lovely outside area. golf course nxt door a real bonus and decent! well done guys

Lovely hotel set in the countryside, the receptionist was welcoming and helpful throughout my stay. The food was delicious with excellent customer service. I would definitely return. The bathroom had a large bath which was great.

Lovely hotel. Food was fine. Only negative was train line in the rear of the building. Bedrooms are too close and a bit noisy early doors. Ask for a front facing bedroom.

Excellent hotel with good bar food and restaurant options.The staff are great, very helpful and friendly. Next to good hiking trails in the beautiful Ribble Valley Only downside was the rooms on the ground floor get some noise from creaking floors from the rooms above. Last visit was particularly bad because there was a wedding reception so the noise from the floor above went on very late.

Hotels in Clitheroe were full the night we wanted to stop away, so we tried the hotel at short notice, we were pleasantly surprised. The greeting was friendly at reception and the food in the restaurant was first class, will definitely be back

Very pleased with this hotel. Spotlessly clean and staff very helpful. Dining options good and breakfast excellent. Not many hotels do a perfect poached egg, but they manage it here!

Slow service at breakfast sat for 10 minutes without any one coming into restaurant. Restaurant not open on Mon & Tues and no room in bar area to eat…. Not great. Room was chilly.

Very nice hotel. Clean and comfortable rooms. Only problem was the restaurant. Some of the main meal portions are a joke. Vegetarian rissotto was the size of a starter, likwise the fish pie, but the prices are certainly not starter size.

It felt like there was no planning for the large wedding party and the consequences on other guests in the morning. Not enough staff on to cover number of people at breakfast. Everything was empty when we arrived and it took a long time to get filled up and then half of the things listed on the full breakfast were not given and no apology or explanation why. Made the over all stay feel expensive as not the level expected.

We had a 3 night stay, very happy with the rooms, including their accessibility, travelled with my mum and other family members so we were all able to be near each other. Lunch was lovely, highly recommend. Breakfast was really good too with lots of options. Bar staff really nice we would book here again.

What a gem of a place, it was our anniversary and the staff made us feel so special with a card and beautiful bed decorations, also a card waiting in our table in the restaurant. Everywhere was immaculately clean having recently benefiting from a refurbishment. The restaurant was lovely, we had an afternoon tea and also dined in the evening. Both the bed and bed linen made for a good nights sleep and it was quiet. The grounds are also nice and plenty of parking.
