We stayed one night in July on our way through, and we would have loved an additional night or two. Such a beautiful property - comfortable room, delicious food, clean pool, helpful staff, and lots of wildlife around to enjoy! Our young kids loved the playground near the restaurant, too. I can't say enough good things about this place. I look forward to staying here again. The wildlife rescue next door was also a highlight - don't miss it!

Wonderful jungle hotel spread out over large property. Restaurant was great with large menu. Pool great for lap swim. Saw deer and other animals. Room very comfortable.

We stayed one night at Hacienda La Pacífica. The amenities, especially the pool, are excellent, and the rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated. Unfortunately, our overall experience was disappointing. On the morning of our departure, the entire hotel lost its water supply. We had planned to leave early, but we couldn't shower. The staff initially offered us buckets of cold water, which we declined. After breakfast, we were informed that the issue had finally been resolved. Dinner the night before was quite expensive but very good. However, we were disappointed with the breakfast, which didn't match the quality of the dinner and felt overpriced for what was offered

This is a lovely typical Costa Rican hotel with beautiful landscaping and a wonderful restaurant. Staff was so nice and helpful. Beds are comfortable and food very good. It is about 40 km from the airport so a perfect stop after a long flight. We have stayed here more than once.

Our junior suite was a great room, with lots of space. Unfortunately it was infested with flying ants on the walls. There was also an animal living in the ceiling, and black fecese continually fell onto our bed. They did not have any of the same room types for us to switch into, so we stuck it out for the night. These rooms are tucked back quite a ways from the reception , but they end up very close to the highway. So we heard continual noise from passing cars. We were also disappointed in the restaurant, both for breakfast and dinner. The warm yogurt with fruit ended up making me sick afterwards. The dinner food was ok, but the service was almost non-existent. Overall, I was quite disappointed in our experience.
