The Raven Hotel

Stayed one night just before a local meeting, I only needed a shower and a bed to sleep. I booked the shared bathroom option which isn’t that scary as it sounds, it’s actually private but a few doors away on the hallway. Staff was super lovely, breakkie included for £46. 2 maintanance related issues (Room 111): bed is wobbly and the sink on the wall is also wobbly, worried it might fall off. Other than that, it’s correct at this pricepoint.

Quiet easy parking local to job

Room was a double room! Very dated! Not the cleanest either, couple huge cobwebs in the corners, back of TV dusty and didn't work! One over bed light didn't work! Bathrooms was communal shared half way down a landing which we knew and ok with! However the showers wasn't clean so didn't use them, the bed was clean and not to bad comfort wise I like a hard mattress, the bedroom area was along a long corridor looked gloomy carpets worn, the breakfast was ok toast jams couple pastry's cereal drinks cheese ham, no pics on wall in rooms etc sink in room didn't feel welcoming at all.

Everything was excellent apart from the wifi not working in my room. The staff member tried to rectify the problem but without success. I was able to access the wifi in the bar/dining area. I will be booking again in the near future

Very nice room and staff. The pub is very quiet and the food is good especially the burger, first class!
