Family room not very spacious. Reception and lobby were nice but rooms were quite dated. Marks on floor, gaps between laminate, flush kept sticking. Overall ok but rooms need update

We have stayed at this hotel several times, before but this time it was an extremely disappointing experience. We booked the room in March for a one-night stay in August and in March we requested a room facing the courtyard where we've stayed before. However at the check-in right after 2 pm we were told by the receptionist that they only had one room on the 1st floor or another room for disabled on the 2nd floor - none of them facing the courtyard. We had to take the room on the 1st foor. The room was in an extremely bad condition: 2 out of 6 lightbulbs were working, the frige was not working and there was so much dust on the top of fridge, the walls and tiles were damaged several places in the room and bathroom, the window handle was loose and the window could not be used. We reported it and they gave us the other room for disabled. The second room for disabled had a very strong unpleaseant smell which we reported and they came to spray the room with room spray. The shower for disabled was very small and the handle for shampoo and soap was broken. The water temperature in the shower was changinf between hot and cold and it was very unpleasant to take a shower. The temperature in both rooms could not get below 23C. The hallway on the 2nd floor was extremely hot because the aircondition was off. The quality of breakfast was bad too - we felt we were in a communist country back in the 80's. We cannot understand that the hotel can offer the rooms and breakfast in this condition.
