The room/villa was large, comfortable and well equipped. The pool was great and the sun lounger sstem of booking worked very well. On site supermarket, though small, was usefull. The staff were fantastic. Car parking in the area is horrendous, but onsite carpark good, though it costs.

Todo bien. Hotel es grande, pero no hay mucha gente en la piscina. Puedes reservar las hamacas y no preocuparse cada dia en busqueda de libres. Sitio muy tranquilo. Mejor tener el coche para ir a las playas o restaurantes.

very nice place clean nice pool heated and outside spa very strange set up where you have to book your sun beds the previous day the rooms were very clean and good size only let down was the towels for the class of hotel would expect better but that's only a minor complaint the restaurant looked nice but can't comment as never used it would definitely stay again

Clean and spacious accommodation, friendly staff, reasonably priced supermarket on site and plenty of dining options within a 5 minute walk. Particularly appreciated the filter tap in the kitchen so we didn't have to buy bottled water. Used the spa service for a massage and natural manicure, reasonable prices, enjoyed the pamper. Visited the hotel restaurant once, it is modern with pleasant sea views; reasonably priced though it is predominantly used by the older clientele; we preferred eating out but it's nice to have the option. Pool bar offered drinks and snacks, we didn't eat there but wasn't over priced for drinks and servers were quick and friendly. There's a pleasant path accessed by a gate at the back of the hotel, go left and you're in San Blas in 15 minutes, plenty of eateries, pubs, shops etc. Take a right and within minutes there's a strip of restaurants and a marina 15 minutes further on; nice views and a pleasant walk. Take mosquito spray, they're an issue if like me, you suffer from allergies. Overall a very pleasant and relaxing stay. It isn't for you if you want to be in the thick of it and if you have children that need lots of entertainment, it is a very relaxed vibe here which was perfect for us, and it's only 10 minutes drive from the airport. Would definitely return next time we need some sun and a few days to unwind.

An excellent and very friendly hotel. This hotel has excellent facilities throughout which are maintained to a very high standards including pools, bars games area etc. The location is perfect with easy access to the boardwalk, nearby bars and restaurants. The rooms were immaculate and well equipped.The staff were friendly, welcoming and very helpful throughout the visit. I will definitely be returning for another visit.

This property has the Santorini vibe going for it and the property itself seemed to be well maintained. The staff were amazing. Another great thing about the property was the fact that it has many restaurants on the water with many dining options and great drink prices. Also, they had a supermarket in the hotel for people who want to either save money or get an early start on their day. Now for the negative part of this. My room had roaches it it. I made a complaint to the front desk, and I believe they sprayed but the roaches were still around. It seemed that the resort was fully booked, so I dealt with the insect issue. Parking for this hotel is mostly on the street and not too convenient for this property. My reason for choosing this property is I wanted a place that was not geared towards the drunken party scene with an upscale feel. The Golf Del Sur area delivered just that. They need to address the insect issues. That is not the high standard for American hotels or travelers!

Booked this hotel for one night because of its proximity to Tenerife airport. We landed late, around 10:30pm, and simply wanted a decent rest before driving north the following day. Sadly, the stay turned out to be one of the worst I’ve had in years of travelling. The main issue was customer service. I requested late check-out in advance and was told it would be possible if the hotel wasn’t full, with an extra fee I was happy to pay. In the days before arrival, rooms were still showing online, so I assumed no problem. On arrival, however, the night receptionist insisted the hotel was full and became extremely rude when I politely pointed out that rooms were being advertised. I even offered up to €70 for late check-out, but she refused and chose to lie rather than explain. If she didn’t know how to process it, honesty would have been enough. Instead, it was the rudest reception I’ve ever encountered. The room was equally disappointing: we were inexplicably given an accessibility room with two metal twin beds instead of the double I booked. Cleanliness was poor (hair on the floor), and the bathroom showed obvious neglect – cracked fittings, worn surfaces, run-down overall. I had to laugh at myself for even wanting to extend such a stay. Do yourself a favour: travel an extra 10 minutes from the airport and stay somewhere that gets the basics right – a clean room, a decent bed, and professional staff.

The accommodation was wonderful. The only thing that we were not happy with was the set up for replacing your room towels. Towels changed on our fourth day and sixth day. I phoned on the third day to request clean towels, reception was quite rude but gave in to change the towels. This practice is not hygienic when your are having 3 showers a day. Therefore very disappointed with this practice. Room towels old. Grey coloured, thin and holes. It was the only thing that let the accommodation down.

El alojamiento estaba muy bien en términos generales. Sin embargo, ciertos aspectos importantes no fueron de nuestro agrado: - La hora del check out es a las 10am, extremadamente pronto! Normalmente es a las 12 o a las 11, pero nunca me había encontrado con una restricción así. Tuvimos que pagar por quedarnos hasta las 12. - Para disfrutar de la piscina hay que alquilar unas toallas a 2 eur el día, es la primera vez que tengo que pagar por las toallas de la piscina en un hotel. - Reservamos 3 noches y no tuvimos en ningún momento limpieza ni cambio de toallas. No se si esto es normal.

Just returned from a weeks stay, family of 4 with 2 adult children. Absolutely lovely hotel!! We only ate at the poolside, but they had no complaints. The pool area was clean and managed well by the entertainment and lifeguards. There are plenty of sun loungers. Many of the rooms are seaview. We didn't eat in the restaurant, so we were unable to review the main restaurant food. The one bedroom apartment room was perfect, a large double bed in the main bedroom and a large double sofa bed in the main room, along with a dining area and kitchenette with oven, stove top, microwave, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. Absolutely recommend this hotel. It's rated a 3 star, but the reviews and photos show that it could definitely be mistaken for being higher!

We stayed in room 326 which was large and spacious with 2 bathrooms which was amazing. Unfortunately just outside our apartment was something that seemed worthier to be a laundry or air-con plant that made a constant noise. Also in December there was only about 20 minutes sun first thing in the morning on the balcony. Did have a slight sea view but the noise prevented us spending time on the balcony.

Fantastic holiday. Complex clean, staff all friendly and plenty of restaurants within a max 20 min walk away. We stayed 12 days and didn’t eat at the same place twice. We managed the walk to los abrigos in 15 minutes with a 7&10 year old. We used taxis for beach days, water park and money world. Our 2 bedroom apartment was immaculate and plenty of space. 2 bathrooms, aircon throughout and a lovely sea view. Wouldn’t hesitate to return and already looking at next year!

A few minutes from the airport, the entrance has a sign above the entrance “welcome home “. The staff on reception are friendly. Our room on 6th floor was a spacious room with a kitchen and substantial lounge that is separate from the bedroom. However, the really amazing experience is when you open the windows and see the most amazing view of the ocean. This place lives up to the headline “welcome home”

The 2 bed apartment was very spacious, clean and quiet with lovely ocean views. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and the staff were very helpful each time we interacted with them. We stayed for 7 nights and the rooms were cleaned twice which was sufficient for us The pool area and spa pool areas were very nice and a good place to chill out and relax in between our trips out exploring the fascinating countryside We would definitely chose to return here. It isn't in a very touristy/built up area, but there are enough shops and restaurants within walking distance, and Los Cristianos was only about a 15 minute drive so easy to get to if you wanted to go to a sandy beach or experience a different side of Tenerife

We loved our stay at Santa Barbara Golf And Ocean Club, the staff are brilliant and the two bed apartment was much bigger than we expected, well equipped and boasted wonderful panoramic views across the ocean and shoreline. We loved the pool bar for food and drink. The evening entertainment and pool did the job. There are No sand beaches to speak of near by but wonderful swimming, snorkelling and fishing can be enjoyed from the picturesque volcanic rock outcrops and pebbled shores. Several good restaurants within a five min walk, and a nice fishing village with loads more circa 30mins walk along the seafront (accessible) boardwalk.

Not at all what i was expecting. We usually go on 3star holidays and i dont think i would be able to go 3star again. The family room was more like a villa with our own bathrooms for every bedroom. Fully equipped kitchen and the air con was amazing.

Booked this hotel for one night because of its proximity to Tenerife airport. We landed late, around 10:30pm, and simply wanted a decent rest before driving north the following day. Sadly, the stay turned out to be one of the worst I’ve had in years of travelling. The main issue was customer service. I requested late check-out in advance and was told it would be possible if the hotel wasn’t full, with an extra fee I was happy to pay. In the days before arrival, rooms were still showing online, so I assumed no problem. On arrival, however, the night receptionist insisted the hotel was full and became extremely rude when I politely pointed out that rooms were being advertised. I even offered up to €70 for late check-out, but she refused and chose to lie rather than explain. If she didn’t know how to process it, honesty would have been enough. Instead, it was the rudest reception I’ve ever encountered. The room was equally disappointing: we were inexplicably given an accessibility room with two metal twin beds instead of the double I booked. Cleanliness was poor (hair on the floor), and the bathroom showed obvious neglect – cracked fittings, worn surfaces, run-down overall. I had to laugh at myself for even wanting to extend such a stay. Do yourself a favour: travel an extra 10 minutes from the airport and stay somewhere that gets the basics right – a clean room, a decent bed, and professional staff.

Stayed many times over the past 10 years but this trip will be our last. Stuck out in the back of beyond next to a construction site to the side of the building. Complained to front desk due to the noise level from 8am to 6pm every weekday and requested to be moved but all concerns and comments were disregarded and they basically couldn’t care less. Absolutely terrible stay never to be repeated!

Small problems at front desk was basically very courteous and tried to be helpful, but when we need guidance for travel - gave instructions that didn't work, and had difficulty helping us when we returned from unsuccessful attempt to take the bus they recommended. Also, at our early morning check-out, the front desk person seemed overwhelmed although eventually he was able to help. The "concierge" person basically shrugged his shoulders when we asked him for help.

Todo bien. Hotel es grande, pero no hay mucha gente en la piscina. Puedes reservar las hamacas y no preocuparse cada dia en busqueda de libres. Sitio muy tranquilo. Mejor tener el coche para ir a las playas o restaurantes.

We had a really nice stay at the Santa Barbara Golf and Ocean Club. It is a perfect location for families looking for a nice quiet resort. A car is a must in order to explore the island. Communication with the staff was 100% and a big thank you to Isabel on reception for welcoming us and ensuring we had a beautiful apartment. There is a handy supermarket on site and the hotel is only 20-25 minutes from Los Cristianos and 15 minutes to the airport. We look forward to returning next year..

Beautiful hotel with stunning ocean views & a wonderful vibe in Golf Del Sur. Last minute booking for an excellent price. Location was perfect, 10-15 minutes drive from airport & local bus service which was a 5 minute walk from hotel to Los Cristianos was only 20 minutes. We stayed in a 1 bed apartment, spacious & spotlessly clean. Loved this hotel, highly recommend for all types of trips & any age group.

Clean and spacious accommodation, friendly staff, reasonably priced supermarket on site and plenty of dining options within a 5 minute walk. Particularly appreciated the filter tap in the kitchen so we didn't have to buy bottled water. Used the spa service for a massage and natural manicure, reasonable prices, enjoyed the pamper. Visited the hotel restaurant once, it is modern with pleasant sea views; reasonably priced though it is predominantly used by the older clientele; we preferred eating out but it's nice to have the option. Pool bar offered drinks and snacks, we didn't eat there but wasn't over priced for drinks and servers were quick and friendly. There's a pleasant path accessed by a gate at the back of the hotel, go left and you're in San Blas in 15 minutes, plenty of eateries, pubs, shops etc. Take a right and within minutes there's a strip of restaurants and a marina 15 minutes further on; nice views and a pleasant walk. Take mosquito spray, they're an issue if like me, you suffer from allergies. Overall a very pleasant and relaxing stay. It isn't for you if you want to be in the thick of it and if you have children that need lots of entertainment, it is a very relaxed vibe here which was perfect for us, and it's only 10 minutes drive from the airport. Would definitely return next time we need some sun and a few days to unwind.

Vi havde en familie lejlighed med 2 badeværelser. Desværre skimmelsvamp på badeværelserne som udløste hoste hos flere familiemedlemmer. Vi havde 7 dages ophold og fik at vide at rengøring ville komme hver 3 dag, men de kom på 3 og 5 dag så vi blev overraskede. Ellers fantastisk udsigt til havet og rummelig lejlighed

The pool at Santa Barbara is excellent and happy hour every day at 4.30 at the bar is nice. The car park is cramped and not ideal and the hotel restaurant was poor. But overall it's a lovely place to stay.

Très bon apparthotel, de qualité et avec des employés très pro et toujours souriants. Idéal pour des familles avec enfants. Un peu excentré, donc prévoir une voiture Piscine qui est chauffée, grande, ouverte jusque 18h. Bar resto à la piscine, par contre le service y est très long, jusqu'à 15 minutes juste pour acheter une glace.... Donc globalement très bien, ne pas hésiter.
Très bon apparthotel, de qualité et avec des employés très pro et toujours souriants. Idéal pour des familles avec enfants. We loved the look and feel of this property. It is very clean, and well maintained - everyone we talked to was fantastic! Although the poolside cafe food was somewhat bland, the prices and service were super. The sun shone, the pool was perfect and the poolside chair “booking” system was successful and easy! Just returned from a weeks stay, family of 4 with 2 adult children. Absolutely lovely hotel!! We only ate at the poolside, but they had no complaints. The pool area was clean and managed well by the entertainment and lifeguards. There are plenty of sun loungers. Many of the rooms are seaview. We didn't eat in the restaurant, so we were unable to review the main restaurant food. Just returned from a weeks stay, family of 4 with 2 adult children. Absolutely lovely hotel!! We only ate at the poolside, but they had no complaints. The pool area was clean and managed well by the entertainment and lifeguards. There are plenty of sun loungers. Many of the rooms are seaview. We didn't eat in the restaurant, so we were unable to review the main restaurant food. Clean and spacious accommodation, friendly staff, reasonably priced supermarket on site and plenty of dining options within a 5 minute walk. Particularly appreciated the filter tap in the kitchen so we didn't have to buy bottled water. Used the spa service for a massage and natural manicure, reasonable prices, enjoyed the pamper. Visited the hotel restaurant once, it is modern with pleasant sea views; reasonably priced though it is predominantly used by the older clientele; we preferred eating out but it's nice to have the option. Pool bar offered drinks and snacks, we didn't eat there but wasn't over priced for drinks and servers were quick and friendly. There's a pleasant path accessed by a gate at the back of the hotel, go left and you're in San Blas in 15 minutes, plenty of eateries, pubs, shops etc. Take a right and within minutes there's a strip of restaurants and a marina 15 minutes further on; nice views and a pleasant walk. Take mosquito spray, they're an issue if like me, you suffer from allergies. Overall a very pleasant and relaxing stay. It isn't for you if you want to be in the thick of it and if you have children that need lots of entertainment, it is a very relaxed vibe here which was perfect for us, and it's only 10 minutes drive from the airport. Would definitely return next time we need some sun and a few days to unwind.

I’ve been to Santa Barbara before and returned because the team are super helpful, the accommodation is great value for money. The resort is kept super clean and you have everything you need nearby. The only thing I had a challenge with was that the aircon kept intermittently switching itself off so we had to keep resetting it. Apart from that fabulous all round and it didn’t spoil our holiday.

Family room is very spacious. Features a sizeable kitchenette with everything you could need. Incredible views of the sea and overlooking the pool from the balcony. Great facilities (gym, laundrette and supermarket on site). Can’t fault this place!
