Excellent place for a quiet retreat in the Cotswolds. Hotel staff are excellent and attentive. Local walks are quiet and remote with lots of look at, as well as being a close drive to nearby towns and villages for shopping

Amazing quiet luxury to return to after a day of exploring in the Cotswolds. Parking was easy and our room was splendid. The bathroom has great products and was always immaculately clean. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The grounds are divinely interesting and beautifully maintained. Breakfasts were amazing and fresh. Best Benedict’s ever because of the Hollandaise sauce. The fruit options for breakfast were fresh. The vegetarian English breakfast was wonderful. Sunday lunch was definitely a highlight and we loved the roast beef and Yorkshire pudding. Would definitely return as this was a memorable relaxed sense of country elegance and refinement without any pretension

Very nice hotel. Staff helpful and the breakfast was lovely. The room was clean, comfy and well equipped. The bed was very comfy too and the bath towels were big and fluffy. We did not try the menu for an evening meal so cannot vouch for that. Good amount of parking as well

We loved that the hotel was out in the countryside. We enjoyed walking around the property amongst the trees and garden area. Our room had a beautiful garden view from our large window. The room was spacious, decorated nicely and the beds were comfortable. It was unique having a few stairs leading down to our private bathroom that was spacious as well. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. We had wonderful breakfasts in the dining room and also enjoyed delicious gourmet dinners. It was peaceful and quiet around the property. We loved sitting on the patio area in front and in back of the hotel. Such a pretty place.

We loved our one night stay at Lords of the Manor Hotel. It was a unique experience to stay in this beautiful English manor. Our room and bathroom were comfortable and elegantly furnished, with high quality amenities. We had a delicious dinner and breakfast at the hotel. The gardens and grounds are amazing! Upper Slaughter is a beautiful little town to explore. You can easily walk to Lower Slaughter by a trail behind the hotel gardens. Thank you!

Lords of the Manor Hotel is a beautiful property with no shortage of charm and exceptional staff. Enjoy a leisurely walk around the grounds, or sit with a glass of wine in the gardens, before enjoying a delicious meal in the dining room with additional garden views. There are many smaller lounges and an abundance of board games and books on hand and the staff are happy to provide recommendations on activities and sights to see in the surrounding villages.

We had a wonderful stay in the Cotswolds. The staff were very kind and polite, and their service was excellent. It was the best hotel we stayed at during my trip to England! The room was lovely, and I was especially pleased that the bathroom was newer and cleaner than I had imagined. The front and back gardens were also beautiful. The dinner and breakfast were excellent. And it was very helpful to have a taxi arranged for us in advance for the round trip. This is a recommended hotel in the Cotswolds.

The hotel is magnificent! It is a well kept mansion on a vast piece of greenery. The room is very large and well updated with all the modern comfort. The bed is a true US King size bed rather than a UK King size (which is equivalent to an US Queen size bed). There are many nice sitting/reading areas inside the hotel as well as chairs and tables on the greenery outside of the Hotel. The food at the hotel is also excellent. It is a place where you can just stay inside, relax with a good book to read.

When we mentioned it to the waiter his response was, " well it's corn fed" and then walked off. Also the bathroom wasn't as clean as it should've been for a 5 star Hotel. I don't think we will be returning.

From the moment I drive into this charming property I felt warmly welcomed. The room was large and well appointed with a renovated bathroom. Dinner in the dining room was delicious. And a walk on the grounds ended a perfect stay!

What a beautiful property and the people caring for it are equally as amazing. I don’t know which made the stay more memorable. When we arrived we were greeted by Sydney at the front. She knew exactly who we were and made us feel welcome. All at once Sydney was inundated with guest requests while still checking us in. Later at dinner she sent us an apology for being distracted at check in. What a lovely gesture. The breakfast every morning was lovely to have and very nice. Dinner at the restaurant was delicious and we ate at the bar as well. All was delicious. Driving around the Cotswolds to visit villages was so easy from The Manor. The walking path was also lovely, we walked to Burton-on-the-Water after dinner. The gardens are magnificent and the gardeners are wonderful, kind people that will stop and chat with you about the beautiful gardens. We will be going back. That I am certain.

Our stay was absolutely incredible!! Gorgeous grounds and room. The food was also superb! We ended up dining on the property throughout the entirety of our stay. Everyone was extremely personable, and the service was extraordinary! Thank you for such a memorable stay.

Very nice hotel. Staff helpful and the breakfast was lovely. The room was clean, comfy and well equipped. The bed was very comfy too and the bath towels were big and fluffy. We did not try the menu for an evening meal so cannot vouch for that. Good amount of parking as well

We needed a taxi from the nearby town, and the hotel quickly arranged it for us. The staff was very helpful. The garden was beautifully maintained, and the building was gorgeous. We enjoyed walking along the nearby stream with amazing Cotswolds views. Breakfast was delicious, and the service was excellent. I’d love to stay here again and try the dinner next time!

The Hotel was nice and mostvof the staff were friendly. However the service in the restaurant was not so good. My meal was fine but my wife's chicken wasn't. When we mentioned it to the waiter his response was, " well it's corn fed" and then walked off. Also the bathroom wasn't as clean as it should've been for a 5 star Hotel. I don't think we will be returning.

The staff at Lords of the Manor provide the best service I have ever received at a hotel. When we drove-up the reception, a higher ranked staff member greeted us at our car. He proceeded to take all of our luggage to the reception guest where we proceeded with the check-in. This same staff member proceeded to park our car and then escorted us to our room. Once again, with all our luggage! This is just an example of One of the staff members. They ALL acted like this; always helpful and served with a smile. The hotel itself was very nice. We quickly asked if we could add 2 additional nights to our 3 day booking. Unfortunately, not surprisingly, they were sold out!

We had a wonderful stay at Lords of the Manor in the Cotswolds. Everything was excellent — from the beautifully appointed room to the delicious breakfast and the warm, welcoming staff. We loved that the hotel was out in the countryside. We enjoyed walking around the property amongst the trees and garden area. Our room had a beautiful garden view from our large window. The room was spacious, decorated nicely and the beds were comfortable. It was unique having a few stairs leading down to our private bathroom that was spacious as well. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. We had wonderful breakfasts in the dining room and also enjoyed delicious gourmet dinners. It was peaceful and quiet around the property. We loved sitting on the patio area in front and in back of the hotel. Such a pretty place.

Stunning hotel in beautiful Upper Slaughter, with attentive staff - nothing was too much trouble. On arrival, they were out of the door to collect our bags before I’d even got out of the car! It was the perfect balance between feeling looked after, without being intrusive. We dined in the Atrium which was absolutely outstanding. We have eaten in many Michelin star restaurants over the years and this tasting menu was in a league of its own, with the accompanying wine flight - if a Michelin star does not head your way very soon, it’s truly an injustice! We are planning on another visit in the summer months to try the menu again, when the seasons change. Very much looking forward to it!

MAGNIFICENT!! OK, so you probably want a little more than that. Beautiful Manor House sitting in gorgeous gardens. Spacious rooms, sensational bathrooms and you simply MUST book the restaurant for your evening meals. Absolutely worth every cent!

It is a lovely hotel. Some of the decor is slightly dated and the food in the restaurant is very average for the price point. It appears to cater to mass US tourism which means some of the Cotswolds charm is lost. However the staff are lovely and super helpful, the hotel is clean and well looked after and the grounds are stunning and we felt very welcome with our dogs

Our second trip to lords of the manor and the Atrium - it does not disappoint The staff are so friendly and helpful, bedrooms are well equipped with comfortable mattresses and pillows Our room had a recently refurbished bathroom which was beautiful and the room was lovely and cool which was a relief! If you like good food, the atrium is just the best. That Michelin star must be on its way! The food is a delight and the wine pairing is perfect

Lovely stay. Beautifully appointed hotel with lots of tasteful communal areas and sitting rooms to relax and enjoy a Cotswolds gin and tonic. Knowledgeable bar and restaurant staff who were helpful and friendly without being intrusive. Great grounds for a stroll even in freezing February.
