This place is a hidden GEM. The hosts have added so many nice touches to make you feel welcomed and at home. They take their time to walk you through and show you everything you may need. You also get to enjoy two wonderful furry friends Wednesday and Ellie who will live in my kids hearts. If you are planning a get away and this place is available GO. We will be going back that’s for sure. Oh also there are trails right behind the cabin that are just beautiful. Do yourself a favor and take a trip to Liberty Retreat in Beaver Ohio.

A beautiful and clean space. A perfect location away from the hustle of the city but close enough for any needs. The black stone and hot tub were nice amenities that added much ease and relaxation to our stay as well as all the special touches, such as the welcome sign and basket! Overall the property and the trails were beautiful!

We stayed at Liberty Retreat for the weekend of my goddaughter’s wedding. It was the perfect place to be able to relax and also prepare for the wedding. We did a bit of hiking the trails, they are well marked. The outdoor shower is a must! We had never tried one before. Everything was as described and better. Pack dog treats for Ellie as she will come and visit you. Wednesday, the cat, was sweet and friendly. Thank you, Mark and Sandy for sharing your home with us!

We used the cabin for a mother-daughter trip. We absolutely loved all that the cabin and property had to offer. The decor was lovely, comfortable, and plenty of space to relax and explore. We slept well, we had fires each night, and the hot tub was a welcomed treat after hiking through the Hocking Hills area each day. Mark was very kind amd accommodating as well. We would love to go back!

Beautiful, well kept cabin on a lovely wooded property. My niece and I enjoyed grilling dinner and relaxing in the hot tub. We had a quiet getaway. We also explored a winery and other nearby towns. I cannot say enough positive about Liberty Retreat! I only hesitate to post my honest opinion because I want to keep it for myself. So cute, exceptionally clean and the host has thought of every detail. Snacks for my kids, supplies to paint rock, toiletries in case you forgot something, and more. Communication was splendid and the host was SO helpful. A wonderful place to unwind and relax!

We really enjoyed our stay at Liberty Retreat. With my wife being a house cleaner, cleanliness is huge for us and we were very happy with everything. The kitchen had all the utensils, pots, pans and seasonings for us to cook all of our meals there. Loved the hot tub and the trails were cool to walk through. We would definitely stay again, especially when the weather is a little warmer!

Wonderful, clean and well organized! The perfect place for my Daughter and I to get some R and R. Everything was perfect, especially to host Cat Wednesday! It helped my Daughter to not miss her own cat so much!

A cozy cabin, with a kitchen to cook our dinners, and a hot tub to relax in! We just wanted to get away for a few days. We drove into Jackson a couple times to go to their brewery and coffee shop. We also said hi to the owners dog and cat! Thanks for a great stay.

I stayed at this property because I had business in Jackson. Mark and Sandy were very accomodating hosts. Mark warmly greeted me when I arrived and showed me around the property--there's a lot to see. There are also alot of features of the property for guests to enjoy. Mark was very proud of the property and its condition--and justifiably so. Because it was a work trip for me, I didn't get to enjoy any of the extras. Ellie, the trusty black lab who greeted me every day, made it feel like home.

Our stay here was so relaxing, so comfortable, and we were attended to so well, you may be surprised that when we arrived a storm had take out electric power. Our hosts had all in hand, with oil lamps, and hock made this beautiful cabin even more special.

We had a wonderful stay! We hiked around the forest property, went to hocking hills, found a few local restaurants within 30 minutes, and felt very safe here. The kitchen was fully stocked, and they even left some snacks for our hungry teenagers! The hosts were very welcoming as we drove by, and very responsive when we used the app. I would definitely recommend!!!

We had an amazing stay. Our whole goal was the relax and do nothing and we succeeded! We were greeted with a lovely note from the owner and nice surprise of flowers for our anniversary! We enjoyed everything about this property and would definitely stay again!!!!!

The absolute perfect place for a quiet little get away. The hosts were amazing and thought of so many extra little touches to make our visit special. The area around there is so peaceful and we hope to return in the future.

Great place to stay. Has everything you need and more. Beds are very comfortable as is couch. Great hiking trails! Not far from stores/supplies. Would absolutely recommend and stay here again!

Very clean and remote. Very Relaxing. Owners were very nice and thoughtful with extra treats. Their animals are also adorable:)

We had a wonderful stay! We hiked around the forest property, went to hocking hills, found a few local restaurants within 30 minutes, and felt very safe here. The kitchen was fully stocked, and they even left some snacks for our hungry teenagers! The hosts were very welcoming as we drove by, and very responsive when we used the app. I would definitely recommend!!!

We had such a short stay for the weekend but it was nice and secluded near the trails and the private hot tub! We look forward to coming back again!

Beautiful, well kept cabin on a lovely wooded property. My niece and I enjoyed grilling dinner and relaxing in the hot tub. We had a quiet getaway. We also explored a winery and other nearby towns. We also hiked trails on the property. The cabin was well stocked with paper products, utensils, dishes, games and movies.

A beautiful and clean space. A perfect location away from the hustle of the city but close enough for any needs. The black stone and hot tub were nice amenities that added much ease and relaxation to our stay as well as all the special touches, such as the welcome sign and basket! Overall the property and the trails were beautiful!

A cozy cabin, with a kitchen to cook our dinners, and a hot tub to relax in! We just wanted to get away for a few days. We drove into Jackson a couple times to go to their brewery and coffee shop. We also said hi to the owners dog and cat! Thanks for a great stay.

The home was very homey and quaint. It had everything we needed including robes and ingredients to make smores. The hiking paths were wonderful and it was great being able to stay on the property. . Would definitely stay here aagain

We really enjoyed our stay at Liberty Retreat. With my wife being a house cleaner, cleanliness is huge for us and we were very happy with everything. The kitchen had all the utensils, pots, pans and seasonings for us to cook all of our meals there. Loved the hot tub and the trails were cool to walk through. We would definitely stay again, especially when the weather is a little warmer!

We loved our short stay at Liberty Retreat!The cottage was well maintained and clean. We enjoyed the hot tub and outside shower. We hiked for 3 miles on the nearby trails. The dog Ellie and the cat Wednesday were a delight. We grilled out every evening and even shared with the animals too. Ellie made out like a bandit...We will miss the peace and quiet of the country settings. Thanks again

The hosts were welcoming and helpful. The place was clean, comfy and stocked with lots of “extras” (snacks, firewood, crafts, games, etc.). The hot tub and hiking trails on the property made this a perfect getaway spot.
