We came into Portland at the end of our long road trip for a couple of days and stayed at this lovely apartment while in town! It was a wonderful stay - we had absolutely everything we needed! From the coffee that was provided to the shampoo and conditioner in the shower, and the super comfy beds and soft towels it was just wonderful! Not to mention, it’s in a fantastic location - AND there is ample free parking on the street PLUS electric chargers a quick walk away to get our car all charged up! HUGE BONUS for us!!! (Although this won’t matter to everyone)Communication with owner was great, access was super easy, and everything is very safe and secure. I cannot recommend this property enough - it was wonderful!If we get back to Portland, we will definitely stay here again! Thank you!!!

The location couldn't be better - walking distance to many of the breweries and cute shops and restaurants, gorgeous view from backyard, and the inside was so beautifully decorated. Rita was an excellent communicator and had great local recommendations!

The property is in a lovely section of Portland and close to the Eastern Promenade for exercise. We loved relaxing in the living room and dining room, both spacious. And the sunset from the park a block away was beautiful.

We very much enjoyed our stay. Great location, extremely clean, and great hosts. However, the listing is misleading, there is no access to rooftop patio or the back yard. So there is no view of sunsets or even of Casco Bay. This was definitely one of the major selling points and a bummer when we checked in.

Lovely little neighborhood, 2.5 blocks from Belleville Bakery and the Portland Observatory. ½ block from a park with a sunset view, though you can see it from the back yard, too. Easy walk to the dock where a bunch of boats launch, including Lucky Catch lobstering expeditions, which was a highlight. Rita & Ryan were extremely accommodating and helpful. Their place is hip without being too cool, and the back yard is great for coffee in the morning and/or a drink in the evening.

We had an excellent stay at The Globe House. The property was clean and just as advertised. The hosts were welcoming and incredibly responsive. They went above and beyond to accommodate the needs of our 7 month old that was traveling with us (provided a pack 'n play, high chair, toys, etc.). Would stay again without hesitation. Would highly recommend to anyone.

The Globe House was the perfect spot for our friends gathering. The accommodation was clean and comfortable with many thoughtful amenities. This place was everything we could have asked for. We were walking distance from parks, playgrounds, restaurants, and breweries. The views were outstanding, and the house had everything we could ask for and more. The hosts were great, and have amazing recommendations on things to do in the area! 10/10 all the way!

Artfully decorated and located walking distance to restaurants and parks. This was the perfect place for me and friends to visit around the table, watch a hockey game on TV, walk to restaurants, heat up take out, and was close to site seeing museums and light houses. The host was quickly available for suggestions. Check in and out was simple.

We rented the property for our visit to Portland due to our daughter’s graduation. It was a perfect spot for our weekend trip. Great location. Walkable to all of central Portland. The owners are very helpful and responsive. Highly recommend.

This place was everything we could have asked for. We were walking distance from parks, playgrounds, restaurants, and breweries. The views were outstanding, and the house had everything we could ask for and more. The hosts were great, and have amazing recommendations on things to do in the area! 10/10 all the way!

The property is in a lovely section of Portland and close to the Eastern Promenade for exercise. We loved relaxing in the living room and dining room, both spacious. And the sunset from the park a block away was beautiful.

We loved being able to walk to the several great local eateries, all within minutes of the house.The convenience of being able to walk to to the beach was great.We'd highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a scenic and convenient base for exploring Portland."

The flat had everything we needed. It was clean and comfortable. We were able to park on the street in front of the house every day. Food was available within walking distance. The host offered good neighborhood suggestions.

The apartment is lovely. LOVED the tea selection and the bottle of wine was very tasty. It was also super easy to get into the apartment at check in time. Couldn't have been easier!
