Quality Inn & Suites Thomasville-High Point

The hote l was clean. Big gaps between curtain and wall did not allow for a feeling of privacy or keep street light from entering room. The breakfast seemed like they are trying to put the lest amount they can get away with. The pool is not available. We were told that it has not been inspected this year

obviously it is old, but no elevator.... had to carry all luggage up stairs. We had a man with us who can't walk very well.... was not condusive. Staff was friendly, but Quality inn should not associate with this property.

The place was under construction, but over all we enjoyed our stay as we always do. The staff are always very nice and will help in any way you need them to.

We enjoyed everything about our stay. They are remodeling so we got one of the finished rooms. The only complaint we have is that the curtain did not cover the small the area between the light coming in from the outside and where our heard were on the bed.. Maybe they could add some clips or some way to block the light out of the room for better sleeping for the guests.

This is an older building but it is being maintained. Morgan and Dianne made our stay an enjoyable one.

They swimming pool wasn't available or gym

When we checked in, we were told they were replacing carpet and to use the back stairs. The back stairs were covered in scraps and big pieces or carpet. Everytime we walked by the installers, they would complain about their working conditions and the hotel staff to guests. At 10pm they tried to tell us they would be entering our rooms that night to get to the threshold. We had three rooms and five kids and this was absolutely unacceptable. We locked our doors and came out to loose, sticking up carpet outside our rooms. Staff was civil at best and area was quiet. Would definitely never go back.

Property is dated and worn out. Updates are in progress but it seems they are being completed in a spotty manor. Leaving rooms open for occupancy that are in different states of repair.

The vending machine was almost completely empty, the pool wasnt accessible. You only got one towel and there was a 45 minute wait for extra. Windows were broke. Come off right into your hands when you tried to open them. There was homeless people loitoring outside and coming inside. There was 2 females helping the one housekeeper in clothes that were in appropriate for a place of business. plus by the look of my room, they aren't helping very much. The employees themselves were great. Very polite and friendly. What I thought was a great rate for this room, actually is too high for what you are or are not getting. Owner needs to step up and take care of business or sell it to someone that will. I definitely will not be a repeat customer.

The front desk clerks were very friendly and efficient during check-in/out. The room did not appear to have been vacuumed. The shower head bracket was broken and was “repaired” using flimsy wire…it didn’t work! More concerning, this was a room for handicapped people who could not have used the shower in this condition. Finally, the hot water in the breakfast area was tepid at best and the waffle batter dispenser was clogged and wouldn’t dispense anything…a nearby guest said she was told that it “happens sometimes…” I had stayed here 2 months ago with no problems…

The hallway was not vacuumed in weeks most likely, our sheets had a variety of stains - primarily what looked like little blood stains, the room cleanliness was very superficial. The rooms were well worn. The upside as I said before was the friendly staff, and also good location. We weren’t upset because we got what we paid for.

Looks run down and sorta dirty. The bed sheets appeared clean and the bathroom wiped down, but there was general grime and dirt everywhere else. One chair was covered in dirt. Looks like they overlooked it. All the corners and under the mattress were quite grimy as well. A few clean towels had hair on them. No idea if they were actually clean. I used my own towel. I would not stay again.

The night check-in lady was always pleasant, and the new management is working to update the property. Those were all the positives. The towels provided had small hair embedded all over both sides, the microwave didn't turn because the wheel was missing, there was a newer iron but no board to iron on, the a/c couldn't keep up with the outside heat, we were missing a pillow, there was hair painted into the wall, the walls and doors were extremely dirty, there were small curly and long strands of red hair in the tub, on the ice container tray, and surrounding the floor outside the tub. Inside the tub and on the desk pubic hair was found. We had an issue we are still waiting to resolve with getting double charged. The absolute worst was my child picked up a dirty, used tattoo needle that was on the floor near the bed. I wrapped it in tissue and plastic to bring down to the woman at the desk and the ink bled a bit, so it was fresh. The woman didn't even take it, told me to come back later to talk to the manager. The manager was nice, but tried to blame previous management. I stand by my statement that dirty towels, hair all around the bathroom, and a dirty needle is a current issue. I hope it was taken seriously and that steps are taken to improve the service as much as they are attempting to improve the building itself. There has still been no concern for my child to see if she was injured - this includes from the hotel, the manager, and from Choice Hotels who I also contacted.

There were other maintenace issues such as the toilet running, bathtub dripping and the bathroom door needs to be replaced. The room itself was not clean.

The hotel was not clean at all. The room was very dirty. Stains on the sheets and pillows. Room smelled like smoke. Bathroom was not clean. I cleaned the shower prior to use. Refrigerator was not working.

First we arrive and they informed us that they only had double beds after I reserved a room with 2 queen beds, then we get in our room and the beds are as hard as the floor and there was not a comfortable chair in the room and then the bathroom has hair under the sink along the wall, also the wall and trim above the door had something splattered all over it, the water running for the upstairs room was very loud in our room, ceiling tile framework was all rusty , and last but not least the filth and scum in the corner by the tub was disturbing as was the rest of the filth, pictures attached to verify everything that was mentioned. very dissapponted.

The best thing to say about this place is that the three staff we encountered during our four day stay were very pleasant. Otherwise, the lobby was very run down and reeked of old smoke (marquee sign celebrated "Now Smoke Free!"). Towels were all skimpy and mismatched. Sheets and cover were paper thin synthetic. Covers stained. We had to ask for more towels and blankets which were left for us at the desk in a large plastic bag. The rooms had been recently updated and the bathrooms not terrible but very little hot water. Though not so bad we were inclined to leave, I would never stay again.

We were a little disappointed at this property. It was a little tired. The rooms were dark. Need better lighting. There was no storage. Not one single drawer in the room or in the bathroom. Only shelves. Plus the closet was tiny. The good news is that the employees were very accomodating.

Staff were nice and friendly. Bed was uncomfortable. Room was way too hot and AC was set at 67. It never cooled down. Hotel was noisy. Lots of weed smell for a nonsmoking hotel.

Queen bed was advertised but room had 2 doubles. When I checked at the front desk, I was told there were no rooms at the motels with Queen size beds.

I was given a large room that I'm not sure was always maintained or used. There was only one working light bulb and the tv could not be seen from the bed.

Obviously needs updates. Not too bad though. Just very easy to hear people in hallways.

The hotel is old rooms were adequately sized bed was squeaky and uncomfortable everything about the room is outdated with the exception of USB ports for charging phones that didn't work. Breakfast was very limited only Donuts yogurt and Waffles were available.

You definitely pay for what you get. In our case, not too much! It wasn't one of the worst hotel rooms nor was it the best. We were beset with small problems then 1 huge one! The two were a damaged plug for a hair dryer, and burnt out light. The big one was when the refrigerator quit, and we lost all our food and almost costly medications. After that we had to abruptly leave, and find better accommodations. Without a maintenance man,honestly, I don't know how much longer they can stay in business? Better to pay more, than to pay less. We found them, but not at a Quality Inn Thomasville!

My experience here did not meet my expectations for even a budget stay. It was noisy, and the drapes didn't cover the sides of the window which means lights shone in all night. The room had the smell of a smoking room covered with an unpleasant room spray. There was only a thin cover on the bed, and no blankets in the room. I was disappointed with my stay here.

The first room I was given smelled terribly of smoke. The staff was great and I switched rooms. Then that room the AC unit was super loud, but we dealt with it until 2330 when the AC unit went out altogether. So we had to switch rooms in the middle of the night. Again, the staff was great. Then the next morning, the food selection was poor and we just grabbed "hot water" for tea and it was lukewarm water. I asked to talk with a manager and sent an email but haven't heard back regarding my experience.

I booked a stay here for my cousin while she was in transition between homes and was a new resident in the area. She was struggling immensely with some health issues and the staff here was incredibly kind, professional and compassionate when dealing with her as a guest. Deborah the manager and a desk staff named Diane were ever so helpful and I cant thank them enough. It is not very common that strangers will look out for others but in this case the staff here did, and we are eternally grateful. Keep up the good work!!!

Room was dirty, hairdryer broken and full of scuzz, toilet wouldnt flush, front desk guy high and reeked of weed at check in, bed was hard as a rock, tv was a computer moniter only 18 inches, ac didnt work, couches were ripped up, and when we tried to checkout and cancel the next night stay the front desk person was rude and refused to let me tell her about the condition of room. She kept talking over me and saying there was nothing she could do because we used Hotel.com service.

The people in the room. Next to us started yelling from 7 at night till 11.00 at night and then started at 5.00 in the morning. The breakfast was terrible they was nothing let on the counter when we arrived and only one muffin was put on after the only good thing was the coffee.

I thought the channel guide was terrible unless I didn’t know how to use it. The breakfast bar on Saturday morning at 7:15 left a lot to be desired. There was one piece of bread and one muffin. I guess there was waffle mix,didn’t try it . We went to Hardees
