Het is een redelijk prima hotel voor een citytrip: alles wat daarvoor nodig is, is aanwezig. Wij sliepen in een kamer zonder uitzicht op de stad en dan heb je alleen een raam in de badkamer (zoals ook op de foto’s te zien is), dat is natuurlijk wel minder als de deur van badkamer even dicht moet. Verder zaten er wel wat vlekken in de vloertegels, maar de schoonmaak door de schoonmakers was verder prima. De bedden waren oké. Het ontbijtbuffet was zeker voldoende. Op de website van Expedia staat dat je gratis kan parkeren ter plekke, dat is niet zo. Dat kan wel buiten de stad, of je kan betaald parkeren in een parkeergarage vlakbij. Dit staat wel correct op de website van het hotel zelf.

Awesome place to stay in middle of Markt. Please note it is above a restaurant so found a little hard to find initially. Staff great. Breakfast was lovely and good choice. Restaurant downstairs very nice for drink and we had a pizza. Highly recommend.

Loved the location and that it was part of the old market square traditional buildings. Unusual that it was attached to the brasserie on ground floor and staff from there were very friendly and helpful. Comfortable room with good bathroom with excellent shower. No lift so be prepared. Hotel breakfast was good too.

Fantastic location, literally central so great for exploring the heart of Bruges, with a great view of Belfort. Rooms are comfortable, a good size with a nice big bathroom. No lifts so may not be suitable for those with mobility issues.

Perfect location for being in the center of the city. The restaurant that is below was delicious, and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Loved the historical vibe of the building. The room itself had a more modern look and our room looked right out into the plaza center. Unique entrance right through the restaurant. Memorable experience.

The hotel is ok for one day. Small room. Basic. No kettle for tea or coffee. Beds were small singles. Not good for large people. Basic hotel. Parking is misleading. There is no free self parking. This is wrong to put that there. I had to pay€16 for overnight parking. Staff friendly. Location excellent.

We spent two nights at the hotel and really enjoyed our stay. Brugge is such a beautiful city! The hotel is in the middle of Grote Markt but the room we got was facing the back so it was nice and quiet, even with the windows open all the time. They didn’t have AC so I can imagine it can get pretty warm in the summer but because it was raining/cloudy when we were there, leaving the windows worked. The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was nice and big. There are no elevators so you have to carry your luggage up the stairs, but if you’re fine with that, I would highly recommend this place for basic, shorter stays. Apparently, breakfast was included in the price we paid and I wish Expedia told us that. We thought we had to pay extra so we didn’t avail of it. The breakfast spread looked really yummy and smelled really good.

I was completely surprised by our view in Room # 12!!! Spectacular!!! Nice to hear the sounds of the plaza and see the view at night with the windows wide open. Great place for the price. I highly recommended Hotel Central. It has a restaurant entry and no lift to the 2nd floor, but the view from the room made it quite a magnificent stay!!!

Centrally located on the Markt with easy access to all the major tourist attractions of the city. Clean room with spacious en-suite and comfortable bed (good mattress). Its Cafe and those of neighbouring establishments on the Markt offered a choice of meals. Staff friendly and helpful.

The staff was extremely friendly, room was clean, and they offered a good breakfast. The room did get a little warm (we were at the front of the hotel), but they provided fans. I would definitely stay again.

The hotel is a gentle 20 minute walk from the railway station and very easy to find. I was a woman travelling alone and a bit nervous but everyone at Hotel Central was warm and welcoming and I always felt safe. The room was simple, spotless and had that wonderful view! Food was generous and tasty. I had a wonderful time and will definitely return.

Me encantó el hotel, ubicado justo en la plaza central, cerca de todo a pie. La habitación, limpia, cómoda. El personal muy amable. El desayuno completo y rico. El único detalle que el WIFI no llegaba muy bien a nuestra habitación, pero en otras zonas del hotel se conectaba perfecto.

Pros: - Excellent location, right by the square - very clean - Hot, powerful shower - Welcoming & friendly staff Cons: - Very small room - just enough space to walk around the bed, especially with luggage (we just had 2 large backpacks). - The room was very hot - there’s no air con and no fan. On the day when the weather was warmer, I really struggled to sleep at night. I’m sure it’s fine during cooler months - There were a few mosquitos in the room when we arrived - I killed what I could see, but we got really bitten. There’s also a sign saying not to open the window. I ignored this for 30 minutes as I was too hot, but this could have also contributed to some more mosquitos coming in. - The walls are insanely thin - we could hear every single word said by the people next door… I even had the pleasure of hearing the hungover man next door violently vomitting early hours of the morning (not the hotels fault obviously, just an example of how thin the walls are). We had an overall good stay, and we wanted somewhere convenient & clean purely to sleep as we were out all day anyway. It is a small, basic room, but happy with our stay.

Room was clean, warm and noisy at times. Perfect location at being bang in the centre. Beds were very narrow and extremely soft. It’s a perfect base for a night or 2.

Positives were a big room and great location. However the only window in my room was in the bathroom. Check in is at the restaurant downstairs and as it was busy when I arrived I was clearly a bit of a nuisance for the staff. This was the only place I stayed on my trip that didn't have tea/coffee facilities in my room.

Centrally located on the Markt with easy access to all the major tourist attractions of the city. Clean room with spacious en-suite and comfortable bed (good mattress). Its Cafe and those of neighbouring establishments on the Markt offered a choice of meals. Staff friendly and helpful.

The hotel is a gentle 20 minute walk from the railway station and very easy to find. I was a woman travelling alone and a bit nervous but everyone at Hotel Central was warm and welcoming and I always felt safe. The room was simple, spotless and had that wonderful view! Food was generous and tasty. I had a wonderful time and will definitely return.

Perfect location for being in the center of the city. The restaurant that is below was delicious, and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Loved the historical vibe of the building. The room itself had a more modern look and our room looked right out into the plaza center. Unique entrance right through the restaurant. Memorable experience.

Positives were a big room and great location. However the only window in my room was in the bathroom. Check in is at the restaurant downstairs and as it was busy when I arrived I was clearly a bit of a nuisance for the staff. This was the only place I stayed on my trip that didn't have tea/coffee facilities in my room.

Localização melhor impossível! Na praça principal de Bruges. Funcionários sem paciência nenhuma, com exceção de uma senhora que nos atendeu muito bem. De restante, foram grossos conosco logo na chegada. Durante a madrugada, não fica ninguém no hotel. O alarme de incêndio disparou durante nossa estadia, e todos os hóspedes evacuaram o hotel por conta própria, e nós mesmos tivemos que chamar os bombeiros, que ficaram perplexos ao saberem que não havia ninguém responsável no local. Café da manhã bom, fornecem água grátis aos hóspedes.

Fantastic location, literally central so great for exploring the heart of Bruges, with a great view of Belfort. Rooms are comfortable, a good size with a nice big bathroom. No lifts so may not be suitable for those with mobility issues.

This hotel is in the Central Market. Our room oveelooked the market with the Christmas market just out the window. This is our second time to visit Bruges for Christmas and stayed in the same room as last time. Absolutely idyllic!

Hemos pasado una noche en el hotel y repetiríamos sin duda, la ubicación es inmejorable y el personal es atento y amable, el desayuno podría tener un poco más de variedad, pero la comida es rica en general. Nos gustó mucho este alojamiento!

El hotel está en el corazón de Brujas, la gente que labora siempre fue muy atenta, la tarifa normal incluye desayuno y te cobran hasta el momento de hacer el check-out. Las instalaciones son muy buenas, el baño es amplio al igual que el cuarto, llegando nos cambiaron la habitación para tener vista a la plaza lo cual fue algo increíble de parte de la persona que nos recibió. El hotel tiene un restaurante que es un poco caro pero la comida es buena.

Perfectly placed on the Market Square. Room was probably the best in the hotel with views of the square below. Food was outstanding, both our evening meal and breakfast. All the staff spoke good English (one spoke 6 languages) and were exceptionally friendly and helpful.

Awesome place to stay in middle of Markt. Please note it is above a restaurant so found a little hard to find initially. Staff great. Breakfast was lovely and good choice. Restaurant downstairs very nice for drink and we had a pizza. Highly recommend.

Loved the location and that it was part of the old market square traditional buildings. Unusual that it was attached to the brasserie on ground floor and staff from there were very friendly and helpful. Comfortable room with good bathroom with excellent shower. No lift so be prepared. Hotel breakfast was good too.

Perfect hotel!! Location could not be beaten. Our room looked straight out onto the market square with a wonderful view of Belfort Tower. The rooms are compact but not too small - we had a bedside table either side of the bed and a small table in the corner with a fan that helped circulate the air as it was hot. The large windows opened fully as well so we could listen to the restaurants below and the music playing in the square. All was quiet after 11pm so we slept very well. We had drinks most evenings sitting outside in the restaurant before walking around wonderful Bruges. There is so much to enjoy here

It’s not really a hotel, the restaurant staff seem to run the place and a couple of them were nice but did not find the rest helpful or friendly. The room looked clean but I was covered in bedbug bites after my stay.
