Pretty decent hotel , everyone pleasant friendly ok place if your on a budget nice beds air conditioned Nice and clean swimming pool. Kid friendly Nice little breakfast & coffee in the morning I would stay there anytime if I was in that neighborhood

Office staff were welcoming and nice and met needs as soon as possible. Options for breakfast were very limited. Good price with working TV. Hot and cold water hooked up backwards in both bathroom sink and tub faucets. Drapes in poor condition, not covering windows properly. Clean swimming pool.

We needed a place last minute and at a reasonable price and found that yhe Economy Hotel was within a 5 minute drive of the beach in OC NJ. It had free breakfast and a pool for the kids to enjoy while we were there. Had fun

Nice little spot close to OCNJ. Wasn’t anything special but clean and quiet. Has one level surrounding a outdoor pool

Another great stay here! No frills just comfortable and affordable. Great staff and nice pool. Pets are very welcome and not just tolerated.

Stayed in atlantic city for a few days and desided i wanted to check out ocean city be 4 i left the reviews i read here weren't good but i was solo and the price was great so i said why not.. is it the resort with a ocean view i had in atlantic city of course not but the people talking bad about this place are wrong the staff was friendly the pool was clean theres stores bars restaurants all with in waking distance and the beach is across the bridge!!small breakfast in the morning room was clean its not a 5 star hotel by no means but it did the trick and if im back in the area i wouldn't think twice about staying again.

Nice and clean motel. Comfortable beds and cold air conditioner. Nice pool. Had a Wawa and a diner right next to it. Very affordable and convenient

l liked the place because It is pet friendly, breakfast is included, convenient access to Wildwood and Ocean city.

This is our third stay at this hotel. It’s close to the bridge to the beach, local shopping, and there’s a nearby play that my kids love. The staff remembers my family for being repeat guests. They’re really friendly! The beds are relatively comfortable. The rooms are a good size. A small breakfast is provided with your stay. And there’s a pool open long hours. Can’t complain much for the price you pay, the space isn’t bad. Good little beach town motel.

This place has bed bugs and a mosquito infestation.

Never once did anyone ask if we needed anything. My sons bed had blood on it. We brought our own sheets and blankets.. the bathroom had clothes from someone before us. I brought my clorox and lysol . It was bad not the worse. But never again!!!! We didnt even check the breakfast. The thought was yuck..ewwww. NEVER Again!!!!😱😱

My first room (126) had bed bugs. My second room (116) was infested with mosquitoes. Dont stay here.

The bathroom was dirty, there were roaches And the bed had a whole in the middle of it

The front desk staff was nasty. We had a problem checking in they wanted to charge us more than what we reserved the room for. When we refused to pay the extra money they got nasty told us to cancel our reservation and leave. There wasn't any hot water for showers or washing your hands. When we complained about the water we were told it has to run for a while but if you did that it got even colder. The room was dirty, hair on the bed sheets, on the shower wall and hanging from the towel holder in the bathroom. Over all a terrible experience.

Terrible! As soon we got into the room, it smelled like cigarettes, actually EVERYWHERE smelled like cigarettes, even the beds! The floors were dirty, the blankets had holes, the door looked like its was literally about to fall off. When we got breakfast, there was barely anything and no water. And the sink smelled like mold, I do NOT recommend this motel to anyone.

My kids woke up with bug bites all over them. The bathroom was covered in mold/mildew

The room was extremely dirty, everything was sticky and disgusting (including the sheets). The window in the kitchenet wouldn't lock. The tiles in the bathroom were all cracked and held together by caulk and sheet vinyl. Don't stay here.

Begging was terrible stained. Bathroom was sketchy. Floor was very wet when we walked in

Run Down blinds hang off runner need to use my hair clip to keep closed. Came into a puddle of water on floor between bed went to front desk they sent someone to mop up explained they replaced a/c it was leaking. Laid down for 1/2 hour when I got up the puddle was back went back to desk and they acted like I was bothering them. The guy who came to clean up dry mopped and lined the one bed frame with towels and left, he acted like we should have cleaned it up are selves. The beds were comfortable and quiet for being on main road. Wasn’t expecting 5 star accommodation, but what ruined it was the attitude they gave about making something right that was wrong.

Property is very old and flooring was broken in places. Mattress was all stained, fire alarm was hanging by the wires out of the wall. Needs a good refurbishing. Would never go back there again. Would never recommend this location.

large room, small bathroom.

The first room I tried had obviously been heavily smoked in. The room I ended up staying in hadn’t been updated since the motel was first built and I suspect that is true of all rooms. I had to go and buy an extension cord because thee were no outlets near the head of the bed. I only stayed one night instead of the three I had booked. The price reflects the quality.

The bathroom door seemed like it was coming off its hinges. The paint was chipped. The heat worked. Bed wasn’t comfortable. The room was clean.

Over it’s a room to stay in if you are doing one night and everything else is sold out. The room did have a good ac the bed is as terrible. Barely slept in the am had terrible back pain due to the bed you can feel the coils on the mattress.

The mattress was terrible; uncomfortable, and had multiple springs poking through in various places. The comforter had a few pieces of broken glass on top of it, and there were various stains and mildew and other issues around the room. We didn't get a chance to try the pool. The breakfast offerings were unappealing. At least the ice machine worked. For what we paid, it was what it was, and we now have a funny story to tell.

We stayed in a 2-bedroom unit, which are separate from the “regular” rooms, so this review is specific to that room type. Pros: 1. convenient location (10 minute drive to OC beach, boardwalk). 2. Price - specifically, the amount of room you get for the price. The unit had three beds (two kings and a twin) as well as a fold out couch. Two bedrooms. Full kitchen. Tub with jets (didn’t try it). All this, and I booked in the spring for a June stay and paid less than $100 a night. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. If you want to go to the shore on a tight budget, and you’re not incredibly fussy, this is the place for you. Cons: it’s grubby. Not disgustingly dirty, but definitely far from sparkling clean. Everything is very old. The tile in the bathroom is cracked. Beds and pillows were clean, but could do with replacing. Nothing was terribly uncomfortable, but just old and worn. I’d suggest bringing your own pillows and blankets for comfort. There’s no daily housekeeping, but we had no trouble exchanging clean bath linens during our multiple day stay. My only real complaint about housekeeping would be that your trash adds up when it’s not emptied in a few days. There were “wall” AC units in both rooms, and the temp was fine but it was very damp. The units are very loud. But you don’t hear the neighbors at all! The pool actually looked really clean and well maintained, though we didn’t try it.

Asked for handicap accessible and the room had a big awkward step to get into. Room was rather dated and no coffee pot in room.

Horrible when we got to our room it smelled horrible , we had no hot water( let it run for 20 minutes). Telephone was dead couldn't use to call office . Tv had no signal did not work at all. Lights did not work over the bed. Towel )just one) was so thin it wasn't usable. We slept with our clothes and shoes on as it was 11 o'clock at night. We checked out in the morning, but they refused to give us our money back. Man at desk was extremely rude, refused to call manager and Slammed the door in our face. Don't stay there! They should be reported, for violations!!!

It was horrible. There was a group of young adults that were up at all hours of the night. We complained to mgmt & they did nothing both nights. Also, someone was propositioned for a drug deal. Mgmt was notified & did nothing. I would never recommend this motel.

Staff is always there and making sure you are ok do you need anything can they help you with it is whatever your doing.

The staff at the accommodations were so willing to make anything available for our comfort. Also dog friendly a plus.

Office staff friendly, pool wonderful but room was disgusting. Bathroom was extremely gross i spent about 30mins cleaning it. Kitchen was full of ants and wasn't equipped with anything. Floor left our feet black. Asked for cleaning surfaces and more towels, no one ever showed up. We ended up having to take out our garbage multiple times to the dumpster. Bedroom had a large hole in the wall. Continental breakfast included hardboiled eggs, toast and cereal.

Our stay was good. It was worth the money we paid. Unfortunately though, we found dog poop almost by our door, every morning(we stayed for three days) I came out to walk our pups, there was garbage in front out room. Other than that, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable and we had a fridge, stove and a microwave. The shower was clean the water was very welcoming. Overall it was a very good stay.

Staff and owner were very nice. The property itself is way overdue for an update. The hotel rooms that we stayed in were passable but if you like things perfect, this is not the place for you. The pool looked pretty but it was not heated. Pool can fit maybe 30 people at most . No towels provided for the pool, need to bring your own. There were barely enough towels for the us in the suite . For a two bedroom suite (1 king bed, 1 queen, 1 twin and 1 pull out couch, we were given three large towels and three small towels. Toiletries provided were below quality. Just Shampoos/conditioners that came in sample like foil packets, no toothbrush or toothpaste , no lotion. The tub by looks we thought was a jacuzzi but the jacuzzi didn’t work. There was no stopper for the tub. And the hot water lasted maybe 10minutes. The bedsheets were very thin, scratchy. Pillows were okay. One thin flannel blanket for twin bed. They use top sheets as fitted sheets. Bedspreads have to be 30 yrs old, horrible material and pattern. Dollar store coffee maker in room but no coffee station, just the maker. All the tiles in kitchen floor were broken/cracked. No hairdryer or drying racks. Ants in the kitchen. Shelves in fridge kept falling off. Breakfast included was Frosted Flakes or fruity pebbles, milk, Tang, cheap coffee and coffee creamer. Cheap white bread and quarter pieces of frozen waffle. Dollar store peanut butter and jelly, hard boiled eggs. Walmart brand tea bags. 6 oz cups for drinks.

You get what you pay for. I stayed for 5 nights. They didn't come at all to clean the room. Their idea of breakfast was coffee, bread for toast, PB&j, and two choices of cereal with only a gallon of whole milk to pour into your cereal. I can't drink whole milk and I don't drink coffee so I had no alternative but to go out. The heater also didn't work very well. I had to keep the thermostat close to 80° just to be comfortable when I usually have it at 70° or 72°. About the only good thing I can say about this hotel is the location.

Our recent stay at Economy Motel Inn & Suites in Ocean City, NJ, presented a mixed experience. The motel was clean and adequately maintained despite showing its age. What an AMAZING gem this little hotel was!!! My boyfriend and I were on a tight budget and looking for a place to relax after a weekend in Atlantic City. This place was PERFECT. The room was ginormous, the air conditioning nice and cold, the pool sparkling clean and the owner was super friendly. They even had waffles and fresh coffee for breakfast - all for only $81/night! HIGHLY RECOMMEND

overall it was a decent place to stay...and a continental breakfast was available. the 1 annoying thing - i called the police because the house manager left his/her dog outside barking till 1 AM 1 night. Poor dog was leashed to the door every night and slept on a towel on the concrete.
