Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites West Chester by IHG

Everything was excellent

The hotel was nice, clean and employees were kind and helpful. Overall, the room was nice, spacious, with a mini fridge and coffee maker. The plug in the bathtub did not work properly. It was unscrewed and removed when we checked in, and had been bent so it wouldn’t screw in. Also, the bathroom door handle fell off! We were able to fix both things ourselves. The most annoying thing was that the tv and AC are both on sensors, so if you need it to go all night, they will kick off when they don’t detect motion for too long. It would get so hot in the room. Every time the AC turned off, it would wake me up and I’d have to get up and turn it back on. The lady at the front desk told me how to keep the fan running continuously but the AC was still annoying. Not her fault though, she was very nice and helpful. The hotel overall looked good, and is in a good location central to most things we wanted to do. TV had a good variety of channels. They offer breakfast but we never went to it, didn’t really use any of the amenities, as we were really only there to sleep and were gone for most of the day. Good parking area and never had to park too far away. It was quiet and we didn’t hear other guests despite the hotel being nearly full. I would have given them 5 stars if the AC hadn’t woken me up so much!

The staff was very pleasant and helpful! Your breakfast bar was great!! The room was very clean and the bathroom was stocked with a nice amount of towels. The only issue that we had was the drain in the bathroom was clogged. I would definitely stay again and recommend this hotel to my family and friends.
