They are attempting to update the hotel and are making odd choices. My room had a new bathtub and old, grimy floor tile. The exterior is busted. I actually thought it was closed when I arrived. I would skip this one in the future.

We love the staff at this Comfort Suites! From the front desk staff to housekeeping to breakfast management, they are all pleasant, kind and helpful. There were a few glitches: elevator was having issues briefly, but serviced right away, and the AC/Heat & fan unit was a bit loud. That said, the room itself is very soundproof, unlike the more expensive Hampton down the street. Also could use better landscaping around the entrance to the property. Comfort is positioned in a very busy area, and driving in and out can be difficult with the somewhat obstructed view of oncoming traffic. Still, when we are back home to visit family, it is a very comfortable and affordable place to spend the night.

The gym equipment is one of the worst I have seen. It is old and does not work properly. For a hotel that is really excellent in most areas, it is too bad & too sad that it appears they do not care about health concerns.

For the price point, it was good. My biggest issue is that they were doing construction outside the room and our window was completely taped over with plastic. They were also doing construction up till like 10 PM one night. In addition the room smelled like cigarette smoke.

Our room had been recently remodeled/updated. The beds were comfortable and we slept well. The complimentary breakfast offerings were standard fare. Staff was friendly and helpful. The parking area needs work, but they are obviously working on the interior first. We were here for 4 nights (art show) and would stay here again.

When we arrived and checked in we were greeted at the front desk by a very professional friendly gentleman, named Jay. Upon entering the room however, the bathroom had black mold and mildew in the shower/tub tiles and bathroom. We called Jay at the front desk and he came to look at the room with someone from housekeeping. Housekeeping was extremely rude and denied that the black mold was mildew or mold. We asked her what the black "mold" was then, since the caulking was not white and it smelled of mildew, and she said it was fine and was very angry at us. The front desk manager, Jay however gave us another room immediately which was clean and comfortable. We definitely would have left had it not been for changing our room. We booked the Comfort Inn based on reviews for cleanliness.......however we did not get that experience and felt very awkward getting reprimanded by under-par housekeeping. Jay saved our stay.

I like the free parking. I liked the ice cold lemon water in the lobby in the evening. I like the waffles in the morning. I did not like the sticky make-up smudged broken hair dryer in the bathroom (which I noticed when it was too late and an hour before my business mtg). I liked that housekeeping tried to remedy the situation with offering me a just checked out of room to dry my hair. I didn’t like that they didn’t have any portable dryers available. I don’t like that they don’t check those things before offering the room. I didn’t like the dirty bathroom floor. I liked the crisp, white bed sheets.

Like - Comfortable beds, nice size room, clean, affordable. Dislike - bed was too high & it was a challenge for myself & my mother-in-law to get into it. I'm only 5' tall and the bed was higher than my waist. My mother-in-law's room was the same way, and she's 4' 11" & 84 years old.

Abundant lighting—above the desk, reading lights above both sides of the king bed, above the love seat/coffee table area. Lots of accessible outlets—including two on each side of the sink, which is almost unheard of. Exhaust fan and separate light in the shower, lighted mirror above the sink, separate make up mirror, with magnifying mirror on one side. Microwave & fridge. Closet with full length mirror. Bed was firm & comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with hot & cold options—eggs, sausage, waffles, bagels, breakfast sandwiches, yogurt, fresh fruit, danish. It appeared this property may have been recently taken over from another brand since the sign was obviously temporary. The outside of the property needs some sprucing up, but it wasn’t terrible. I’d definitely stay here again.

Felt like family soon as walked in the door. I was skeptical because there is construction going on. However, I was given the best room. I heard nothing. The room was clean, comfortable and had features I was not expecting! Everything was so comfortable and enjoyable until I stayed an extra night! Front desk staff and all-Super Amazing. I will be back to enjoy another clean, cozy room!

The only redeeming feature about this place is the nice young man who checked us in and checked in with us periodically. We stayed here for a few days. We had the only accessible room, which smells horrible and is covered up by a plus in the bathroom. I asked them to check the room and they couldn’t smell anything. They offered to switch rooms, but my disabled son needed it. The other staff was rude. We won’t be back. The breakfast wasn’t fully stocked. The shower requires towels since is was not properly built.

The room was nice, I was questioning the hotel driving into the hotel. They definitely need to cut the vegetation back at the entrance because of visibility pulling on to an extremely busy road.

Bathroom and room was in very good condition. Lobby and breakfast area was very good. On first day of our stay they ran out of eggs for breakfast with an hour left. Otherwise I would return there for another stay.

The room appeared to be recently renovated and had many amenities that aren’t often found at this price point. Abundant lighting—above the desk, reading lights above both sides of the king bed, above the love seat/coffee table area. Lots of accessible outlets—including two on each side of the sink, which is almost unheard of. Exhaust fan and separate light in the shower, lighted mirror above the sink, separate make up mirror, with magnifying mirror on one side. Microwave & fridge. Closet with full length mirror. Bed was firm & comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with hot & cold options—eggs, sausage, waffles, bagels, breakfast sandwiches, yogurt, fresh fruit, danish. It appeared this property may have been recently taken over from another brand since the sign was obviously temporary. The outside of the property needs some sprucing up, but it wasn’t terrible. I’d definitely stay here again.

Second time staying here and I must say. They're winning me over. Such a cool little hidden gem. Super friendly and professional staff. Comfortable and clean rooms. The breakfast is also great. It's the kind of place you wouldn't mind being snowed in at. Oh, on that note. Our room had an electric fireplace. Very nice touch. Well done!! Will definitely stay again.

Our room had been recently remodeled/updated. The beds were comfortable and we slept well. The complimentary breakfast offerings were standard fare. Staff was friendly and helpful. The parking area needs work, but they are obviously working on the interior first. We were here for 4 nights (art show) and would stay here again.

It's fine for a night, not the greatest place but decent. The beds are very comfy, but the rooms are a bit old. Not dirty, but you can tell where they have repaired the room. I'd definitely stay again, I'm not fancy. The place was also very quiet, so that's a plus.

Great little hotel! Staff was really nice, room clean, breakfast good. The parking lot is small and we almost missed it cause the bushes are tall. Would stay there again if we're ever in Pittsburgh. .

We had a one night stay over in Monroeville and got to the hotel around 7 PM, and I can’t say enough about the friendliness of the staff we interacted with. The room was very clean and spacious, it was an around excellent stay!

Room was disgusting, had no floor under the carpet by the window and looked like water stains on the wall. Shower leaked from the floor above so made a nice drip noise in the morning. Poorly kept hotel but was still not cheap, better off staying at the red roof inn next this hotel. We stayed on the 3rd floor.
