The room itself was good it was the house keeping that I wouldn't recommend.

This is a basic Holiday Inn that needs some updating and good deep cleaning. I stayed 2 nights and encountered the following: Cons: Floor tiles that were loose each time they were stepped on in the bathroom. Hair on the bathroom floor upon arrival Filthy carpets Stains on the walls and floor Banged up furniture The smell of weed in the elevator Pros: Close to Bryant University if that applies to your stay. Breakfast was decent Price is cheaper than the other two hotels on Douglass Pike

⚠️ PUBLIC WARNING TO FAMILIES — OUR HOLIDAY INN EXPERIENCE IN RHODE ISLAND ⚠️ I’m posting this because what started as what we were told was a $30 cleaning fee turned into a situation that left our credit card account drained of its available funds. We were specifically told that the $30 cleaning fee/hold would fall off today. Instead, according to what appeared on our credit card account, multiple $500 charges/attempts were made, ultimately using up the available credit on the account. What scared me even more happened while I was ON THE PHONE with my credit card company trying to figure out what was happening. During that call, four additional attempted charges appeared, including attempts for $300, $500, and $700. This wasn’t simply a $30 fee anymore. We are a family traveling away from home with children. Having the available funds on our credit card suddenly wiped out while we’re away is an incredibly serious situation. I am documenting every transaction, attempted charge, screenshot, phone call, and conversation and disputing the transactions through my credit card company. I’m sharing this so other families know to WATCH THEIR ACCOUNTS. If you’re told a hotel is placing a small cleaning or incidental hold on your card, verify the amount, get it in writing, and continue checking your account afterward. These statements reflect what we were told by the hotel and what was shown to us by our credit card company/account records. I am not going to speculate about why
