There was no ac working in the building except in the rooms . The lobby was hot . You go in the elevator and it feels like you’re going to suffocate . An on top of that I paid $250 a night . I realize all these problems the first ten minutes there and try to get my refund. They told me there not going to refund us. And they gave us a fan. I feel sorry for there workers who are working in those hot human conditions. A you have to pay for your complementary breakfast. Crazy

The contintental buffet was fir a fee' $10.50 /ppl. The oatmeal was watered down n pasyry was stalr plus fruit was not ready. Then the third floor jas renovations goimg on and there was a lot of banging so we movec to first floor. Tha pool and jacuzzi were very clean and a nice temp. The staff nice.

Nice hotel, with an indoor pool. Room was ok with the beds comfortable but worn. Sliding closet door was broken. Room was clean as were sheets. Bathroom could use better ventilation. Tv, AC, and wifi all worked well. Hot show and water pressure good. Ice machine, not so great. Staff was friendly and helpful. Pool clean but spa not working. Free breakfast woula be nice.

Good location for traveling to and from the mall or casino lots of great food options close by! Hotel under construction says no smoking of any type but hallways reeked of weed and front desk was notified but nothing changed in 2days bedding ripped soiled had to be replaced bathroom there was cracks in flooring WiFi was in and out the whole stay went to call the front desk and the phone didn’t work could not dial out pool area was definitely not what the online pictures showed hot tub very small

We checked in to find our room was missing the blackout curtains. It left us with no way to block out the glaring sun at 7:15am. We specifically booked a hotel with a hot tub/pool area to relax. The hot tub was not only broken, it was full of stagnant brown water that smelled of mold and mildew. We attempted to use the pool but it was too cold despite being an indoor pool. The staff was nice, but there was obviously nothing they could do to resolve these issues. The next morning, we turned the shower on and got about 2 minutes in before the plumbing started literally screeching through the shower head. We would have had a better stay at a motel. I couldn’t even get sleep or take a proper shower which are the 2 most important things for a hotel.

The hotel is under renovation. When I went to my room, they forgot to put any toilet paper in the bathroom. The bathroom and hallway floors were dirty. I told the front desk about it but she didn’t send anyone to clean it. They didn’t refill the coffee pods. The entire floor smelled like weed. I won’t be staying there again.

The bathroom smelled live poop and the smell was disgusting and you could smell it in the room and in the halls. I complained but the maintenance guy said it smelled like poop everywhere. The toilet wasn’t flushing right either. Also there was toilet paper in the toilet every time we came back from somewhere like something had pooped in the bathroom flushed and wiped again leaving the paper in the toilet. They didn’t do anything to make it better either 🤔😔

It's pretty much what you'd expect for a fairly cheap hotel kind of near an airport. It's just a place. My big complaint is the walls are very thin and I could clearly hear our neighbors talking very deep into the early morning. It wasn't terrible, and the bed was comfortable, but I don't think I'd stay here again.

Place is currently undergoing a renovation but it was very clean in my room, if old (old wallpaper and border that was peeling). Mattress was clean, carpets clean. Main complaint was the cost of the breakfast for the quality provided but all staff were really great.

No soap for bathroom sink. Used shower gel. Found an old box of candy in a drawer. Don’t remember seeing a notice the hotel was undergoing construction when I booked. Breakfast selection was poor and way way over priced. I was given a handy capped room which was awkward. Not at all sound proof. Could hear everything. Good location for my visit. GREAT location, convenient to everything!! Restaurants, stores, Ellicott City was a 5 minute drive. Overall, the property was awesome! Specifics with our room…the handicap accessible room was right at the elevator (a plus)! Very spacious! However, the tub was filthy and the showerhead didn’t latch, only worked handheld. The toilet handle was also a little loose. And there was only one cart for luggage. We had to carry a lot of luggage to the 3rd floor. But the staff was very friendly and accommodating!

Upon arrival we saw a sign noting they were doing construction. Not sure if this affected the air conditioning but the hallways were very hot. The Ac in the room was cool thank goodness. When we got to the room we could not connect to the internet. When I alerted the front desk they said I would have to call ATT for assistance. What?! I called and after sitting on hold for a bit and then being asked all kinds of questions about IP addresses and such I needed the call and headed to the front desk. The woman there informed me that the internet had not been working properly for WEEKS! I suggested that they alert people about this when they check in as internet is sometimes necessary. I explained that I had work to do and the woman was very dismissive and co descending acting as if she didn’t believe that I really had to work. I ended up having to pack up and leave the next day to find a hotel with internet. It was very much a terrible start to my weekend away.

This place is good. However had an awful side with foot traffic in room above ours (person walked heavily and letting door the their room slam loudly). The HVAC unit was noisy in our room and made a funny noise, noticed once I turned the air on I began to experience a headache. Not sure if it the unit was malfunctioning or not. If I was to spend an additional nine get I would have ask for a different room.

My phone was inoperable. I was not offered an option to move to another unit. Wifi did not work with device. This location needs an upgrade old furniture with spots. Staff did not answer phone. However, they are getting an upgrade. Nice lobby

The staff were amazing at this location. Front desk reception and follow-up was outstanding and went above and beyond when we had issues. The first night, we realized our safety latch was broken and had to move rooms after 11 p.m. Your staff handled it promptly and went above and beyond, offering us a complimentary breakfast for the next day. Then on both weekend days we were woken up to extremely loud banging above our heads. We didn't complain the first day and assumed it was kids above jumping around. However, the second day it was even earlier in the morning and louder while we tried to sleep. We called downstairs, asking staff to address it. After a bit of time, it was not stopping, so we called again to ask staff to help. Staff called back within 5-10 minutes to inform us that this noise we had dealt with was construction occurring over our room and they were told to stop so early in the morning. This was very frustrating and we could not get back to sleep, but your team handled it with great professionalism and courtesy to us. We appreciated that. Your breakfast setup seemed to be short-staffed, but the lady who was working was wonderful and moving things very fast, especially for being the only person handling it all. The teammate at the front desk was also pitching in, which was so great to see. You can tell your staff care about your hotel and the people visiting. It was overall a positive experience minus all that construction.

We stayed at this hotel because it was close to Merriweather Post Pavilion. It was an easy drive to get there. The hotel is going through a renovation but you would not know aside from some boxes in the lobby. The hotel was understaffed at the front desk and with housekeeping so rooms were not ready 30 minutes after check in time. The woman at the front desk was very apologetic and asked everyone to be patient. I requested to change from what I reserved to what they had available and they were very accommodating. The hotel was clean and very quiet.

Every thing from the front desk to the room it needs to be closed down I was very disappointed 😔 receptionist's was extremely rude and busy with a outside guess that was waiting on a prostitute I know yes it took about a hour for me to check in finally got a room and it's over my budget not the room I booked the door would not open Keurig coffee machine broke coffee water literally no drinks at all you had to buy them pool was dirty floors were filled with clothing wet clothing all day water the door was broken to the room I had to lift the whole door up to open and closed and fridge did not work I had to turn it to the max to get cold and then my things frozed and something was biting me

The customer service, Beverly at the front desk is a delight!! She would always greet you coming in or going out, was very welcoming and kind. I needed an extra pillow and sheet in the later evening and she provided it for me quickly. Beverly's warm customer service is an asset to hotel.

The room was decent, could use some updating. The breakfast buffet was not worth the $12.00 per person. The hotel seemed to draw a younger party crowd which were loud and obnoxious. We needed our rest for an early event the following day, so I called the front desk and complained about the noise and slamming doors, they did not seem too concerned. When they came to speak with the party room, they did not tell them to keep the noise down!! As a matter of fact, the person working the desk was friends with the obvious group! Nothing was done and we barely got any sleep. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this hotel.

Location convenient. For Hilton, it was a little older. The bathroom shower had mold/mildew around grab bar. The fan in bathroom was non-functional. The furniture was old/worn and the closet mirror had a huge crack. The hotel was noisy. Breakfast not included 😜

It is a fabulous location. The staff was friendly, helpful, and professional. The lobby has a homey feel and people use it for all types of activities. The breakfast was a buffet that was $13.00 that was amazing food. It was close to BWI & has easy access to all of Columbia. It was a great stay.

No soap for bathroom sink. Used shower gel. Found an old box of candy in a drawer. Don’t remember seeing a notice the hotel was undergoing construction when I booked. Breakfast selection was poor and way way over priced. I was given a handy capped room which was awkward. Not at all sound proof. Could hear everything. Good location for my visit. Room was not clean. Tub was very dirty. Pool was not able to be used. No one was available for specialty breakfast. Specifically brought my son to swim and have breakfast as a treat, was not a good choice.

First thing I noticed was there was a letter burnt out on the hotel sign. There was a sign in the lobby apologizing for the fact that they were doing renovations. That should have been made clear when we booked on line so we had the opportunity to find another hotel. The wallpaper was peeling off the wall. There was no (zero) toilet paper in the room. The continental breakfast that all other hotel chains include in their state, Hilton charged 12.50 per person for. The complimentary bottles of water that all the other hotel chains provide were 3.00 a piece at Hilton. I will never stay at a Hilton again.

I'm hesitant to leave anything other than a glowing review for this property because the staff from Lionel the manager on down was uniformly lovely, but several things need to be mentioned: This is a really dated HGI, it's getting a comprehensive refresh in the spring. Hopefully it will include the TVs, in 2024 you expect to be able to easily use your streaming services in-room. Then there's the matter of the breakfast—if you're going to charge $12.50 for it, you should serve something that isn't hugely inferior to what you'd get at a Hampton Inn. Yeah, I get that the HGI is supposed to be slightly up-market, and they charge for breakfast, but the sheer mediocrity of it coupled with the $12.50 charge just really bugged me. That said, I'm sure the re-model of the hotel this spring will elevate the property to the level of the wonderful staff.

I have stayed at this property often as it is convenient to my business.This stay was much less than satisfactory.I notified the front desk that the toilet in my room ran continually.I was there 3 nights and no one came to address the problem.In addition the guests directly above me sounded like they were having a track meet in their room until 2:30-3:00 am each night.Both the fitness center and the pool were closed all three days.Finally,the front desk people never greeted me when I came through,nor said goodbye whren I returned my keys on departure.Unfortunately this will cause me look for another hotel when I return to Columbia.

We had two rooms with locks that didn't work, and the third room (with the functioning lock) had a toilet that was wonky. More thorough maintenance is needed here!
