We had a nice view out the window(the roof and walls for the drive under entrance) basically a wall 3’ in front of our window.. AC knobs needed fixing, bed was squeaky. Lobby smelt like burning incense or pot everytime we came in or out. No smoking in rooms though.I understand it’s upstate NY, but didn’t see and service personnel During our stay either .business is lucky their really isn’t any competition close by

The Expedia description said breakfast is included, but, there is no breakfast. The manager simply said Super 8 motels haven't done breakfast in a long time. I wanted to tell him I stayed in a Super 8 only a few days early and it had breakfast, but didn't want to start an argument. But hey, there is a McDonalds across the street and you can grab breakfast there. The real reason I am ranking this 3 stars is one,there was a used wet towel in my room (hanging on the hook behind the bathroom door). I mean, the room had been cleaned, but the used towel was a bit creepy. And then there are also people who live there, long-term guests of New York state substance abuse rehab program. So, that was also a bit creepy. It _is_ a Super 8 and not the Hilton, but potential guests should know this stuff.

Had been a basic but satisfactory and economical option up until this last visit. The only positive thing I can say at this point is that there is ample, convenient parking.

The property is very basic. The bathtub fixtures need work. The toilet was balanced with a piece of wood and the tub faucet practically fell out. There ws no shampoo in the bathtub dispenser. Very dark room, two inadequate lights. The description says something about a breakfast but there was nothing at all and a sign in the lobby that says "no breakfast". Not a terrible stay, but the place is in need of some basic repairs and attention to some details.
