Motel 6-Newport, TN

To begin with we had to ask to be moved to a different room becaise the a/c didn't work at all. Room temperature upon arrival was 80 degrees. 3rd floor windows could not be opened and after half an hour of the a/c being "on" room temperature was 84 degrees during that hour period we discovered that there was no refrigerator or microwave in the room and the only toiletries available were toilet paper and 2 very small bars of soap. Once at the front desk to request the room change i inquired about the websites advertised breakfast because of the lack of refrigerator/microwave we found out they served no breakfast but coffee (nothing else) was available. Anyway we switched rooms to the one right next door. Same kind of room (2 beds) the a/c did work and both a microwave and refrigerator were in this room but just like last only 2 small bars of soap and toilet paper provided for guest use. While not horrible the entire stay failed to meet any kind of expectation especially for 70 bucks on a weekday stay. Needless to say we simply will not return. Just save the 70 bucks and sleep in your car. Sorry but you did ask

Nasty place do not stay here…

Room was dirty, toilet didn’t work, used bar of soap in room, sheets were stained. Complained was moved to a new room, I would not stay here again

Our toilet didn’t flush and it was running constantly. The gentleman told us it was fixed but it wasn’t. Bathroom sink wouldn’t drain at all. No toilet paper at first (he brought us some) and not a single wash cloth to be found. There was a HUGE roach in the bathroom though. The noise level was insane ALL night long. We we booked for 2 nights but left after 1 and just took the loss on what we paid.
